I guess its too soon to ask if anyone has any idea what the rooms will look like after the refurb I read about? Or will they keep it looking like it is now only newer?

How long do the refurbs usually take. I have booked April 4-10th...will it be done by then?

Ohhh so I am happy to do this, I shall be there Sept. 30 off property, then Oct. 1-Oct 4th at the Yacht Club ( CL Pending )

Got you on our temporary Be Our Guest Lis Miked. Dee will add you to the official list when she returns from paradise!

I just booked another return trip to YC on our last minute trip to celebrate DS's birthday. We will be there 9/23~28!

Got your dates also mousegear. Welcome to the Y&BC family!

Well, I have yet to complete my October BC stay and it is looking like I am booking a BCV stay in February already! Or at least I am crossing my fingers...I am renting points for the Princess half marathon weekend and my 7 month window opens tomorrow. I received a quote for the rental and confirmed it but received an out of office message. Someone in the office confirmed the rep I used would check it this evening and handle it. So fingers crossed it all works out and a studio is still available tomorrow morning! :goodvibes

Any thoughts on the odds I will get it?

Back from our day at Hollywood Studios. We didn't make it all the way to the fireworks and dessert party but in our opinion, the VIP Frozen package was worth every penny even without the big dessert party. At the parade area where we got preferred viewing, they provide water bottles, sodas, frozen lemonade, mickey ice cream bars ... you can take as many as you want. The Sing-Along Frozen Show was 30 minutes long and the preferred seating you get for that was worth the money as far as Jeanne and Lily were concerned. I absolutely loved the show and would see it again, again and again. The adult comedy was sooooo fantastic. Jeanne laughed her head off. On the way out, a man in his 40's stopped Jeanne and Lily to tell Lily she performed fantastic and it made his day. She sang every song and had all the arm and hand and foot motions to go along with the songs. Sitting in the second row was very magical!!!!!!!

I've been told all the Frozen VIP packages sold out in six days.

The heat got to us (me and Jeanne ... Lily was fine) and we just couldn't make it to the dessert party and fireworks.

We had lunch with Jake, Doc McStuffins, Sofia and Mandy. The buffet was great and the interaction (dancing) with the characters is so far ahead of all other character buffets. Lily danced three times and had a ball and eat a huge amount of food. She loved her normal mac & cheese but also loved the tater tots and green beans. Of course the soft serve ice cream with sprinkles was a hit for her too. That was the fourth time for us for lunch there and I doubt we will ever skip it.

Off for half day at Epcot tomorrow and lunch at Norway with her fellow Princesses. Then a day and night of rest before checking into the Grand Floridian on Monday.

I hope so too and I really hope they move the Frozen sing along into where American Idol is as an alternative if they don't keep the parade and ice skating ... or keep it where it is. It's a lovely theatre and with the snow and special effects, it was soooo wonderful. Lily and Jeanne are still talking about it.

The Frozen sing along sounds like so much fun. Did you go into the area that had ice skating and snow for building a snowman?

Thank you for your review of Frozen Pkg review. I was wondering about the Pk and see if DS would be interested. It seems like it's tone of fun!

Lily is so cute!!!! Love the picture!:cloud9:

We just were notified out magic bands shipped!!! It is perfect timing. I bough my DS the disney Infinitey game for Xbox. He can't wait to unlock the special character with his magic band!!! My question is other than this package should I be on the lookout for any other communication from disney or yacht club?

How do you do the special character??? My kiddos LOVE Disney Infinity!

Thanks for the Frozen package review. We have this booked for July 25 and I'm really looking forward to it. Enjoy your day at Epcot with all the Princesses.

Teena - I have heard that the sing-along was fantastic and you have certainly confirmed it! My daughter is 21 and is obsessed with Frozen, so we are doing all of the Frozen activities at DHS when we arrive next month. It's funny how this movie has transcended such age groups! Staying at the Beach Club has made it so much easier to come and go, especially since "the guys" aren't interested.

I'm so glad you are having a wonderful time with your family - can't wait to hear about the GF. We have never stayed there, but my Mom and I did breakfast there last month and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, I hadn't been there in years. I booked a dinner at Narcoosee's one night next month to soak in the atmosphere there. Enjoy yourself! :goodvibes

I'd planned to spend our last park day at MK in the morning. Not sure where we'd go that night, but it might have to be at DHS. My kids would all love the sing along.

All this Frozen sing along news has got me thinking about what kind of music we should synchronize our Pool Tube routine to. At first I was thinking everybody's first choice would be the Macarena but then someone pointed out that wedding DJ's don't even play that song anymore unless they are tipped a $100 bucks and a case of whiskey, so that was out.

We can't use that Song from Frozen because some of us will get confused and actually let go thus breaking apart our tube formation. You have to remember that we are not dealing with the most coordinated OR coherent people on this Synchronized Pool Tube Team so we have to keep it simple.

It's too hard to do all those horsey moves like you have with that song Gag 'em Style so that's out.

So now I'm thinking that the best song for our Synchronized Pool Tube Team might be "Stuck In The Middle With You" by Stealers Wheel.

Here are the lyrics so we can decide if this song is the right choice.

Well, I don't know why I came here tonight
I got the feeling that something ain't right
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair
And I'm wondering how I'll get down those stairs

Clowns to left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you

Yes, I'm stuck in the middle with you
And I'm wondering what it is I should do
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face
Losing control, yeah I'm all over the place

Clowns to left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you

Well, you started off with nothing
And you're proud that you're a self-made man
And your friends they all come crawling
Slap you on the back and say:
"Please!"
"Please!"

Trying to make some sense of it all
But I can see it makes no sense at all
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor?
'Cuz I don't think that I can take any more

Clowns to left of me
Jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you (SNIP)

Then of course there is that Song Wasted Away in Beach Clubaritaville.
Here are the lyrics to that:

Nibblin' on sponge cake,
watchin' the sun bake;
All of those tourists covered with oil.
Strummin' my six string on my full balcony swing.
Smell those shrimp At Cape May Cafe
They're beginnin' to boil.

Wasted away again in Beach Clubaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a Greeter to blame,
But I know it's nobody's fault.

Don't know the reason,
Stayed here all season
With nothing to show but this brand new magic band.
But it's a real beauty,
A Brazillian cutie, how it got here
I haven't a clue.

Wasted away again in Beach Clubaritaville,
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a Greeter to blame,
Now I think, - hell it could be my fault.

I blew out my Fast Pass,
Stepped on a Chair hog,
Cut my heel, had to cruise on back home.
But there's booze in the blender,
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on.

Wasted away again in Beach Clubaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt.
Some people claim that there's a Greeter to blame,
But I know, it's my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that there's a Greeter to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault.

Just remember the song we choose is probably going to be the most artistic thing about our Synchronized Pool Tube Team. This may even morph into a Sing Along Synchronized Pool Tube Team Event like Frozen.

Choose carefully or come up with your own song suggestions!
