I guess its too soon to ask if anyone has any idea what the rooms will look like after the refurb I read about? Or will they keep it looking like it is now only newer?
Ohhh so I am happy to do this, I shall be there Sept. 30 off property, then Oct. 1-Oct 4th at the Yacht Club ( CL Pending )
I just booked another return trip to YC on our last minute trip to celebrate DS's birthday. We will be there 9/23~28!
How long do the refurbs usually take. I have booked April 4-10th...will it be done by then?
Back from our day at Hollywood Studios. We didn't make it all the way to the fireworks and dessert party but in our opinion, the VIP Frozen package was worth every penny even without the big dessert party. At the parade area where we got preferred viewing, they provide water bottles, sodas, frozen lemonade, mickey ice cream bars ... you can take as many as you want. The Sing-Along Frozen Show was 30 minutes long and the preferred seating you get for that was worth the money as far as Jeanne and Lily were concerned. I absolutely loved the show and would see it again, again and again. The adult comedy was sooooo fantastic. Jeanne laughed her head off. On the way out, a man in his 40's stopped Jeanne and Lily to tell Lily she performed fantastic and it made his day. She sang every song and had all the arm and hand and foot motions to go along with the songs. Sitting in the second row was very magical!!!!!!! I've been told all the Frozen VIP packages sold out in six days. The heat got to us (me and Jeanne ... Lily was fine) and we just couldn't make it to the dessert party and fireworks. We had lunch with Jake, Doc McStuffins, Sofia and Mandy. The buffet was great and the interaction (dancing) with the characters is so far ahead of all other character buffets. Lily danced three times and had a ball and eat a huge amount of food. She loved her normal mac & cheese but also loved the tater tots and green beans. Of course the soft serve ice cream with sprinkles was a hit for her too. That was the fourth time for us for lunch there and I doubt we will ever skip it. Off for half day at Epcot tomorrow and lunch at Norway with her fellow Princesses. Then a day and night of rest before checking into the Grand Floridian on Monday.
Glad you like Hollywood and Vine!! It's our favorite character meal and do it once every trip!! I hope they extend out the frozen packages further...we will miss them by 2 weeks!!
I hope so too and I really hope they move the Frozen sing along into where American Idol is as an alternative if they don't keep the parade and ice skating ... or keep it where it is. It's a lovely theatre and with the snow and special effects, it was soooo wonderful. Lily and Jeanne are still talking about it.

We just were notified out magic bands shipped!!! It is perfect timing. I bough my DS the disney Infinitey game for Xbox. He can't wait to unlock the special character with his magic band!!! My question is other than this package should I be on the lookout for any other communication from disney or yacht club?
I just hope they don't take away the Mickey Lamps!! Was so sad that they did at the GF refurbI guess its too soon to ask if anyone has any idea what the rooms will look like after the refurb I read about? Or will they keep it looking like it is now only newer?

The Frozen sing along sounds like so much fun. Did you go into the area that had ice skating and snow for building a snowman?
