popping in to this thread when I can. Sounds like you are having a wonderful visit with the girls teena! Love the tomato story!

We have moved on from Disneyland and we are now in Oahu. I have mini update but not many pictures in my hijinks trip report. Yesterday we visited pearl harbor and this morning at 7 we will hike diamond head.

Have a fantastic day everyone.
Aloha Dee!! Be sure to look at Lesportsac purses, they have some cute Hawaiian patterns you can only get there!!

Checked in at 8:30 this morning! Room wasn't ready and still isn't as of 12:45. Cm said they have a bunch of check Ins today. Based on the rack rate rooms I looked at yesterday it looks like club level is quite full this weekend! The lounge was good for breakfast. It has the same things as we had at the csr lounge last week with the added eggs, oatmeal, juices and bottles water requests. I took the boat to dhs to do some shopping this morning and didn't wait more than 5 mins both ways! It was quite relaxing. I'm at the pool now. Just had a lobster roll sandwich delivered and enjoying the sun! The only negative is that they aren't technically letting guests into the fitness center bathroom to change anymore. They let me since I was by myself but they said ppl were abusing it. I said that's not very accommodating for ppl with late flights who want to shower and be out of their room at 11. Cm said it depends on who's at the desk to let them in. If you entered through the gym I'm not sure they'd even notice. I did say there's no other shower options and to that they said shower before you have to be out of your room...I'll update later on the room!
Sounds like you're off to a good start! Love HH Lobster roll! The burgers are good too. Also had yummy pulled pork sliders last year at the pool bar!
Boo about the showers! Stupid comment from CM about showering before check out sheech. If you're at the pool swimming, and with sunscreen goop all over, that won't help!!!

Just checked in and found out I was given the commodore suite!!! Serious pixie dust that makes up for the fact my car broke down on the way here!!!
Wow :banana::banana: great upgrade!!

We have just returned from our 18 night stay at the Yacht Club and have to say we loved it and it's now our favourite resort ( previously stayed POR and the
Poly).

We booked a garden view room but were upgraded to water view, room 3007 at the far end of the resort. Unfortunately we had to move rooms half way through our stay due to a problem with the air conditioning unit. We were moved to 3017. The guy who dealt with us on the phone about the room move could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Both rooms were great, I will post room views after I sort out our photos.

Disney transport was great, maximum time we waited on a bus over the whole trip was 15 minutes. Taxis were readily available. Buses to and from the dreaded DTD were ok although we did avoid late nights there and the fact there is only one stop there at the moment helps, the buses for DTD and the really early bus to MK made stops at the boardwalk and for DTD ( the swan and dolphin). It was fantastic being able to walk to and from Epcot and the studios. We also walked to Fantasia golf.

In terms of food we had ddp so ate in a few local places. The flying fish was our favourite. Cape may dinner was great, our first time eating crabs legs, my 6 year old loved them... Cape may breakfast was also good as was the breakfast buffet at Captains Grill. We ate at the Yachtsman last year and were not wowed so we didn't bother this year.

Quick service, Hurricane Hannah's was fine. Beach club marketplace flatbreads were good. We felt that Captain Cooks had better options last year but it was all still good, filling the mugs was a bit of a trek though. Boardwalk pizza was good, 2 quick service credits for a whole pizza, 2 desserts and 2 drinks and boardwalk bakery was great.

The pool was great, ds loved the sand bottom bit, the little slide ( didn't do the big one) and the volleyball. We also had one night in the quiet pool where it was just us. We had no problems piggies claiming all the loungers!

Overall a truly magical trip after a stressful year ( just finished a post graduate qualification to become a teacher). Totally spoiled now and not sure I would be keen to stay elsewhere, other than maybe the beach club or boardwalk. Think we will have a year off Disney and maybe return 2016 for 3 weeks!

Thanks for all the help and advice on here if totally added to the magic!

Sounds like a great trip! 1 month till we check into GF for 2 weeks  I'd sure love a lagoon view upgrade :goodvibes that would be so exciting!!

Awesome pixie dust!!! Please take and share lots of pictures.

@ wmoon glad you had a great stay

@ mickeyears yes 5th floor is all club level

Someone asked recently announced about the price of pool noodles. They were $4 each last time I was there

We're back from our day at Magic Kingdom. Dinner at BOG was absolutely fantastic. Jeanne says it's at the top of her list!! Lily loved being in the Beast's castle!!!

Overall, very very hot day but with knowing what to do and when and the fast passes booked ahead of time, the day was perfect.

Rest and off tomorrow for the Frozen VIP package at Hollywood Studios!

I bet you had a great view! The one time we stayed in the YC we were in a room out near the end, although not quite so far as your room was. It seems like we never went in the lobby. It was too far out of the way. :rotfl:

We were surprised that our 5 year old grandson loved the crab legs. :)

Thanks for posting your trip report. :goodvibes The Epcot resorts are really nice. :goodvibes

It sounds like a great day! The Frozen VIP package sounds like fun. I would love the sing along part. :)

Would you say there is enough other options for people who don't eat seafood or fish to make this worthwhile?

Just booked a quick 5 day/4 night stay at the yacht club in September. Haven't stayed there before but we had our wedding reception at Ariel's in the beach club and know we love the property. Just under 2 months wait for us!

hey everybody!

Just reading the thread and waiting for my October trip.

We are packing, we found out our apartment complex is turning into condos, so we have to move! We just don't want to buy here. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found a great place, but the stress has been crazy. :crazy2:

Anyways, we move in two weeks, and then in a couple months and a few weeks we will be at the Beach Club.

Have a nice weekend everyone, I'll be packing! :p

Teena - sounds like you had a magical day! Can't wait to hear all about your "Frozen" day.

Didn't I tell you that BOG was great!
Have fun on the next part of your "Grand" adventure!

See you soon

There are plenty of non seafood items at Cape May. They have a carving board and the meat has always been very good. There are also different non seafood main dishes, one non seafood soup, it was minestrone when we were there in March, and pizza on the kids table. I love the variety on the cold salad bar and the desserts are delicious. :goodvibes

:cool1: Sounds great! We're taking a quick 5 day/4 night stay at the YC in September, too. :goodvibes

Thanks for posting the pictures. The master suite is gorgeous. The old credenza in the second bedroom looks a little out of place in the suite, though. What a great upgrade!

Does anyone know if there is a minimum age requirement for the sea raycers you can rent at Yacht Club? I looked and I can only find a minimum age for the driver, but not for the passenger. They look like fun! :boat:
