I never minded swimming in the ocean before. My dad was stationed over there for three years so we went to the beach all the time. My biggest fear on that particular beach were Portugese man-o-war. There hadn't been a shark attack on that beach in 50 years.
I hate swimming in lakes and ponds because there is no way for the icky water to get out. I completely get you!!

I have to admit that sharks freak me out so to hear this makes me rethink ever wanting to go to Hawaii a bit I never really used to think about them, as we don't get them over here so never have to worry about things like that. But then when we started traveling it did used to play a bit in the back of my mind... especially since Nick is really scared of them and is forever going on about them. When I am traveling I do tend to stay shallow and keep my wits about me, which sucks as I love the water and love snorkeling

I'm so happy you started a PTR< sorry I did not get over sooner. With the holiday and other stuff I been a "little bit" busy.
Looks like you are off to a good start would like to stay a mod some day, But like you said with 5 its hard. we are 6 adults and really each couple like there own bathroom I loved reading the way you descibed you family. You have a beautiful family!!!. How many trip will this made for you, I was surprised to read about you and hubby trip.
I glad you are asking about how to do stuff like post pictures an muti quotes cause I still don't understand how to do them either

How did your son football team do? Did they go to the state?
Any new cheerleading contest?

I'm so honored that you decided to subscribe to my PTR!! I feel like you are a pro at this and do such a good job. I'm a little nervous because I don't always have anything Disney to report but don't want to leave a lot of time between posts. Thank you for your kind words about my little one. She is pretty cute. I'm so sad I'll miss you. I informed Harvey a couple of weeks ago that we might see some of my DIS buddies. He of course had some smarta*s comment about us having a meeting. DISers? NEVER!!!

You should still go to Hawaii if you can. It is SO beautiful. And, just think, there is 1 in 11 MILLION chances of you getting bit by a shark. So, since we "know each other" you guys are safe!!! You can't live your life in fear. He went in the water in Mexico this summer. It was kinda nerve wracking, but he did it and I was so proud.

Hi Grace!! Welcome to my so called PTR!! I'm so glad you're here and willing to read. I totally understand being busy. I have so many TR to read and catch up on, Ariel's included. I'm glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Our football team WON STATE!! Yep we are the State champions in our division. It was so awesome. We won 29-25! We don't have another cheer competition until Jan. We are going to go to Virginia Beach for Nationals in May, so that will be fun planning. I heard from Lyn and she is good, just busy. She should be joining us soon!!

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! I love finally seeing pictures of your family. I feel like I've know you for a while and not seen them. I didn't realize your children were so big! I booked our June trip and I sent a list of ADRs to our travel agent today since our 180 mark is while we are at WDW. We'll be at POFQ, but Jake pushed hard for POR. He likes the trundle bed and the pool.

You will love POFQ! I'm sure that you've been there already because you've taken WAY more trips than us. We've stayed there twice and really liked it. Too bad our kids are big.

I still have to catch up on your DLP report and your PTR. I've been really busy this weekend. I work retail, so this was a busy weekend for us, AND today I got to have the Roto Rooter guy come and snake out my drain. It's been a good week with the home repairs. Makes me want to rent again!!!

I *thought* I was finished shopping until we got a call on Saturday that Dan's family "changed" their plans for Christmas and instead of only buying a gift for the person's name we drew, we were back to buying for pretty much everyone again. So much for a freaking budget! Ok enough ranting now! I need to get back to work!!

Hey Momma!!! Did your DH watch the Good Morning America clip? I'm not sure if they still have it on their website or not since it was a year ago. I do have photos from the operating room, but I would have to know if everyone could stomach the pictures. It's not too bad, they've cleaned it up and took the pic before they stictched and stapled it back together. It's pretty amazing that they were able to do so.
K, so Disney wise, I'm contemplating calling again because I get the recipes from the Swan and Dolphin website, and on my last email it said that "members" of the recipe club get 50% off rack rate all year? So, what do you know about those hotels? I know locatation is GREAT, but other than that, I'm not sure if it would be worth it to change. Not sure if they'll honor the stay 4 get 3 free. Worth the call?

And yes, we've had the wife/husband convo quiet often. Well, at least I have.
We went to JC Penny at 5 in the morning because I had to work at 9:30. Then we went to Target Boutique and stood in line to get in. RIDICULOUS!!! Some lady came out with her purchases while we were still waiting in line to get in. What?? She said she'd been there since 11:30 the night before. There was NOTHING there worth sitting outside in the freezing cold to get. NO WAY!! Sorry you have to blow your budget. It makes it so hard on everyone involved.

Heck yes I'm serious!!! Merry Freakin Christmas!!!! Thank you for your kind words about my family. Yeah, man o wars sting!! We would always get out of the water and rub sand on our legs or arms. Sorry that you had to feel the sting. I don't know if I'd go in the Atlantic either. It's pretty cloudy compared to the Pacific. At least where I've been. I hope to entertain you. I'll at least have some good non-disney stories until I get closer to my date. I'm hoping to get my airline tickets in the next month.

Sorry you had those experiences. I didn't think about them braking into my house until this morning. If they took the time to look through my glove box, which it didn't look like they did, then of course all of my insurance info with name and address is in there. I think breaking into a house would be worse than the stupid radio.
We are football supporters. We only missed one game this season. My son played freshman ball and then dressed for JV and Varsity ball for a couple of games. Just my 9 year old is a cheerleader. She does competitive cheer, stunt, hip hop and pom pom. It's a newer gym with only about 16 girls, but they all love each other and are great friends. Do you guys have cheerleading in England?? (I know that was probably a stupid question, but you never know) Like I read one of your posts on another thread that you don't have baby showers? See, it's different.

LOL!!! I looooooove that movie! I went through a stage after we got married when Chad asked what I wanted to watch. It was always a vacation movie! I could watch those over and over again!
