Haha at random people knocking on your door so early in the morning! Like you said 'There's NO sleeping in Disney!'

Wow at the FP time for TSMM - just to let you know we had a similar situation (got a FP at the time we had an ADR) however we spoke with the CM and he got a different set for us. It may not work during busy periods but we got lucky!

45 minutes for a boat journey! Have made a note to avoid the Friendship boat from DHS to Epcot

at the 'Don't flip your long hair at me' comment - hilarious!

We never ate at Coral Reef but it looks nice and the chocolate wave looks SO delish!

Hahaha exactly. If I would have gotten up when they knocked, I probably could have gotten Toy Story FP's Oh well.

Chapter 9: El Centro, Pan-CHI-tos, and All That Good Stuff
August 20th, 2011

I forgot to add in that we went on "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" before Turtle Talk. That was cute, as usual. It smells REALLY good in that queue line. Like... even though there isn't *actually* water, there is a distinct smell in there. So beautiful.

So yes, THEN we did Turtle Talk, and then we left the Seas Pavilion.

We headed toward the exit of the park, and stopped in the bathroom before leaving.

And can we just talk for a second about how Soarin' music was playing in the bathroom? Like how AWESOME is that? Where else in the world does that happen? I think all public bathrooms need Disney music installed in them, just saying. It just makes people so much happier.

That would be reason #5747439875398 that I need to move to Disney World.

Before we exited, we had the Photopass people take a couple pictures of us:

And I had Nat take my pictures in front of these flowers because my Mom loves Disney flowers! I thought she'd appreciate the picture.

We caught the bus from Epcot and went back to Coronado. We got dropped off at El Centro because I wanted to ask the concierge if there was a Business Center so I could get on a computer.

I wanted to change our reservation for Sanaa on our 3rd day, because getting to Animal Kingdom Lodge would have been a slight hassle.

So we got directions, and we took pictures of the resort! We didn't get to take many the day before because we were just too excited about the surprise. So this was our chance!

Look how excited I am to use my camera.

A Coronado Garbage Can!

I love these fountains. Coronado is decorated quite beautifully!

The BEST Pop Machine EVER!!! They should have these everywhere.

We started walking to the business center, and as you can probably tell by the big, gray clouds in the pictures, it started POURING. So we decided just to go back to the room.

Since I couldn't get to a computer, I called WDW Dining and successfully switched the reservation! Hooray!

If you couldn't already tell, Kristen's family had separate dining reservations from us, so Kristen got back from the park a little later than us. She came over once she got home. We got ready, and prepared for our next park adventure!

i fell a little behind but i finally caught up! i've always wanted to eat at coral reef because of boy meets world so i laughed out loud when i read that. i'm glad i'm not the only one who still refers to that!
and p.s all your pictures are ridiculously pretty! the color is amazing, everything looks so, well, magical!! i wish i was as photogenic as you guys are!

That week will be really busy and you will see crowds increasing as the week goes on. My mom and I will be there from the 15-19 of December! We are really looking forward to it! It is absolutely gorgeous at Christmas and even with how busy it was there is nothing like Disney World at Christmas! If you have any questions you can ask! And I am really enjoying your trip report since I am a year older than you and it is nice to see somebody my age that loves Disney like I do since none of my friends were ever that into it

Chapter 10: Hooray for Hollywood!
August 20th, 2011

Thankfully, by the time we were ready, most of the rain had let up. So we decided to head over to Hollywood Studios!

We came to Hollywood Studios before Coral Reef this morning so we’d have fastpasses to use when we came back at night, but sadly, the Mad Dash + Lack of Sleep got the best of us. So we were going to have a Toy Story free night… or so we thought.

Anyways, we got a Photopass Photographer to take our pictures in front of the hat:

Our first order of business was getting a cupcake from Starring Rolls! I never had one before and I was SO ready to try one!

Unfortunately, by the time we got to Starring Rolls, IT WAS CLOSED. Yes, it’s true. What a let down. However, it’s a good tip to pass on to you all – STARRING ROLLS CLOSES AT 4 O’CLOCK! So don’t get your heart too set on a cupcake later in the afternoon.

Geez Hollywood and timing was not really on our side today! But hey, that wasn’t going to stop us from having fun!

It was time to start hitting up some rides! So we headed in the direction of THE TWILIGHT ZONE TOWER OF TERROR.

Hahaha Kristen looks DISGUSTED in this picture.

The wait was not too bad, actually it was 13 minutes to be exact!

This was Nat’s first ride on Tower of Terror and she was actually really nervous! She HATES elevators, so the whole storyline was a little freaky to her.

We waited, filmed some video, got pumped up for the ride, and then it was time to enter – the twilight zone. DUH DUH DUHHH!

Whatever random ride sequence we had for that ride was GREAT! I really really loved it. It seemed a lot longer than usual! I kept thinking it was going to be over and another drop would happen. Very nice!

Nat ended up LOVING it! It is now one of her favorite rides! Since it doesn’t really look like an elevator once you’re actually on the ride, I think she was okay. I’m glad we got her on it!

And here is our ride photo... doing our princess/precious pose. We're in the front row on the right side:

We told Nat that if she went on Tower of Terror, she could have a reward… which was a Mickey Bar!

She LOVES these things, and it was the first one she’s had in SUCH a long time! (Probably 2 and a half years! Much too long!)

She was jumping up and down in line. I don’t think she could have smiled any bigger.

She ripped that sucker open and after taking a food picture…

She took a bite...

and she sat down on the ground.

I don’t know why, but that seems to be a recurring theme of this trip! Extreme Happiness = Sitting on the ground.

We did a time check and it was a little bit after 5. So we had a brilliant idea on where to go next...!

Oh man, cupcake plans foiled! I honestly had no idea that Starring Rolls closed that early. Good to know.

Poor Nat. At least you rewarded her well. That could be a new training trick. "If you do this, you get a Mickey Bar". Sign me up for that kind of training!

Sad that starring rolls was closed Those cupcakes are AMAZING!!!!! We went their for the first time on my most recent trip and fell in love with the cupcakes Disney food blog has a ton of info about those cupcakes (as well as DISboards).

Exciting that you guys got to go on tower of terror so easily! freaky that the wait was thirteen minutes as well!

YAY NAT LOVED IT!!!!! I find that alot of first time riders LOVE that ride!
