Alright, it's Catch-Up Time!

Chapter 16:
Mmmmm. Lunch at Sunshine Seasons looks yummy. I haven't eaten there in a few years, so I think it's time I go back. Chocolate Mousse Cake sounds DELISH.

Oh, girls, I wish I could've warned you about how miserable WS is on a summer afternoon. It's unbearable. I actually had a similar 'waiting for Snow White' moment with my cousins a few years ago. I thought we were going to melt. Of course, after all that waiting, our Snow wasn't that great either. They really need to move the character meet&greets indoors during the summer.

Poor School Bread. At least it was still edible. Though I'm sure Kristen would've enjoyed School Bread soup just the same.

Chapter 17:
AH! I love how cheery CSR is. The view from Kristen's room is GORGEOUS.

Pool time is a must if you vacation in the summer. It's so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the parks for a little while. Plus, it's Florida. Pools and Florida go hand in hand.

I miss the monorail. I miss the smell. I miss the teal seats. I miss the little "beeep boooop" sound the doors make. I miss continuing service. I miss gathering my belongings. I miss "To our new passengers, aloha and welcome aboard!" I miss "couples may exchange vows in a fairytale setting complete with a picturesque backdrop of Cinderella castle." I miss looking out over the lagoon and being able to see the Tower of Terror and the Swolphin in the distance. I miss being instructed to "consult [my] guidemap." SIIIIIIGH...

Lia is a genius and I love her almost as much as I love Stacey.

Ah, the Polynesian. My home away from home. The most wonderful place in the whole wide world. I'm actually tearing up a bit right now. I JUST MISS IT SO MUCH! *SOBS*

I haven't been to Kona in a loooooong time so I don't really remember THE BREAD. Clearly, as an avid bread connoisseur, I need to make an ADR for our summer trip. Do you know if they serve THE BREAD at lunch? Those Pot Stickers look AMAZING. I'm, like, salivating over here. Can you tell I haven't eaten dinner yet? OK. It's settled. I'm going back to Kona.

Hey Jess! So I wanted to tell you that I left you a random note on Kara's TR... and I wanted to tell you on here so you will actually see it. I know this probably sounds really odd haha but you'll see why!

Jess! Listen so I promise I'm not STALKING you or anything... but I had to be creepy and comment on what you said. Not that you'll even see it?! Haha... anyways... you mentioned FRIENDS. And when someone mentions FRIENDS... I HAVE TO BUTT IN. It is my favorite show of all time. Yes... it has taken the place of Full House. (That's slightly depressing but true.) It's the funniest show ever. I have all 10 seasons on DVD. I watch it every night when I go to bed. I quote it repeatedly. HAHA so yeah, there ya go! BUT WAIT. You said it was on Nick at Night?! That is throwing me off in a major way. SINCE WHEN IS IT ON NICK AT NIGHT?! Okay... okay I'm good. Sorry about that Kara!

LOL Don't even worry.... Friends is a very important topic!! It is now one of my absolute top favorite shows of all time. The others being Full House, Boy Meets World, and Lizzie McGuire.
I need to get it on DVD!! My friend that has a TV in her room is transferring so I need to get in on DVD so I can watch it at college.
Hahaha I quote the few episodes I have seen. Aka last night... "I FOUND MY IDENTICAL HAND TWIN!" "I got a cat!" "THAT'S NOT A CAT!!!" SO FUNNY.
And yesss it's on Nick at Nite now!! Isn't that great!? That's why I started watching it. So beautiful. I can't wait till 11 o'clock so I can watch LOL

Wow what a fun trip. I am enjoying reading about it. I so get all your love for Disney. I get that excited about those things too. I am 41 so I probably look really funny but in Disney it just doesn't matter. I don't get to go as often as I wish. I wish it was at least yearly but it's more like every 3 years. Better than not going I guess?
I have two daughters 20 and 22. Both are already moms but I wish that they had the chance to do a fun girls trip before that happen. Oh well it is what it is.

Well I just got my iPhone. So I have Disney music on both now. I don't really use my iPod much anymore though... so I don't know! I'll probably end up bringing both anyway.

Okay, I've just gotta come out and say it here... I've totally been lurking for way too long so I just need to come say hi and let you know that I totally love your TRs! I start following this one and then got sad when I caught up so I checked out some of your other TRs and just really enjoy your writing.

You and your friends are so funny! I love how excited you get about WDW for EVERY trip, and definitely enjoy the frump face. Also, you have convinced me that I MUST eat at Sunshine Seasons so I can enjoy that strawberry shortcake!

My husband and I are going on our trip in just 65 days! I'm super pumped; we're doing it as a one year anniversary trip. ANYWAY enough about me, just wanted to finally not be a creepy lurker and let you know I love your TRs and find them to be awesome!

I think one of my favorite moments from all of you TRs was when you guys met Woody and how happy it made your friend. Totally cute and just reminded me that we're all kids at heart, especially when you get to meet your favorite character at Disney World.

The bread..... That is exactly how I felt about the bread at Spirit of Aloha! I'm happy I get some of that at Ohana in just over a week. My mom and I will definitely be going to Kona this trip! I have breakfast ressies book but I didn't make lunch/dinner...partially because when we checked out the hotel in the summer it didn't look too busy, so we might just chance it whenever we're hungry.

I like Friends too! My housemates and I watch it occasionally, and I definitely agree with your other top shows. I will buy all 7 seasons of BMW on DVD at some point! Although I have to say, I watched the Disney episode recently and was like "there's no way that could happen....there's 10 minutes between when Splash Mountain starts and the drop...I really love the fountain of nations" etc type comments.

You REALLY DO need to get it on DVD. I actually got it one season at a time slowly but surely. I don't even know if they sell the individual seasons anymore (so sad) but my sister has this little box set that I know they still have... you should totally ask for it for Christmas or something! It would be a lovely gift. Aw, that's sad about your friend though.
It's just such a quotable show. It's the one show I can watch over and over and over again and STILL LAUGH HYSTERICALLY. Oh, Joey and his identical hand twin. SO funny. The other guy is just like "Stop it, stop it now."

YESSS I do! I saw the box set of all ten seasons yesterday at target. It is $169 However, I am going to ask for it for christmas anyway. Maybe my grandma will get it for me And aww thanks I wish she wasn't leaving. But oh well.

Chapter 19: Basically Passing Time Until Kristen Finished Dinner
August 21st, 2011

While we were at the Polynesian, we stopped in the gift shop! Kristen was still at dinner... so we thought this would be a good way to pass the time.

We found this cute little antenna topper. Nat really should purchase it. Even though she doesn't have a car... but hey, someday she will!

I found a little monorail antenna topper! It matches my shirt!

After we got our fill of that merchandise, we headed to the monorail station! Then we saw this beautiful sight:

HONEY, I'M HOMEEEEEE!

But really.

We started making our way down Main Street to pass the time. We stopped in the Emporium and I found some fun toys!

I ♥ DISNEY TRANSPORTATION!

Why am I such a child? I don't even know.

BALLOONS!!!!

The castle looked beautiful as always!

The window displays were just beautiful!

They're so princess-ey. I love them. I wish I had all of that stuff in my room.

All of the construstion is FINALLY finished on the Main Street buildings, and I am thoroughly impressed.

I LOVE how the Confectionary turned out. That was the last one that was being fixed in April, so it was nice to see the completed product.

So after a little browsing... we walked back up Main Street.

We decided to meet up with Kristen at the Town Square Meet and Greet. "This is where she got her surprise!"

IT'S-A-MICKEY-MOUSE!

Nat and I went in there and looked at the pins. I love these hidden mickeys:

We found a set of MUPPET PINS! We figured Kristen would appreciate them.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MUPPETS MOVIE TO COME OUT ON NOVEMBER 23RD! Yes, Kristen and I are going. WE ARE SO EXCITED!

The Cast Member who taped the video of the surprise was working again! It was slightly awkward because we definitely both recognized each other but didn't go and say hi for a while. But once Kristen got there with her pins, we went up to him so she could make a trade hahaha. He remembered us and was glad we were having so much fun!

We exited the Town Square Theatre and it was getting dark out already!

We left Main Street and headed to Tomorrowland. We went on the Carousel of Progress first.

And the ride that moves people.... THE PEOPLE MOVER!

Then we took a ride on "BUZZ LIGHTYEAR'S SPACE - RANGER - SPIN!" (Say that in the OLD Transit Authority voice, please and thank you)

We also grabbed Space Mountain fastpasses while we were in the neighborhood. Those always come in handy!

Whenever I watch it, I'm immediately taken back to a magical place filled with butterfly hairclips, inflatable furniture, and platform flip flops - everything that I loved! I'm not ashamed to admit that I went and saw the movie three times in theater and still listen to the soundtrack on a fairly regular basis. Now, I think I need to watch a few episodes before I go to bed. AH!

Awhhh Disney transportation is so soooo great! It really needs more merch...and shirts....and recognition for its awesomeness. AND possibly a song (or 10) about how wonderful it is! I love it!!

Nat and her new bestie look pretty tight, staring off into the distance together. I see a future here! I am also fairly sure he would be able to get her into the parks for free...or at least a highly discounted rate. What more does a girl need?

Muppet pins!!! I need those in my life!!! I am also so freakin excited for the new Muppet movie! Words can't describe... sigh. Me and the bestie decided today that we are dressing up. Can't wait!!

We exited the Town Square Theatre and it was getting dark out already!

The new facades totally pop more! It's so pretty all lit up and looks so festive.

How cute are those ghost Mickey balloons?

Um, those Disney transportation toys are beyond adorable. So cute. I think I would have bought some and taken them home under the pretense that my daughter would use them. They are just too cute.

And I totally thought of you ladies this morning when I saw the Muppets were "cohosting" on Good Morning America. So fun! I've totally had that song in my head all day though - "Do-dodo-do-do, do-dodo-do, manamana, do-dodo-do"
