"There’s NO Sleeping in Disney!” SURPRISE - The Frumps Are Back Again! UPDATE 1/13

I love so many things in the update. I love the Poly gift shop, the antenna toppers, the transportation toys, Main St., the MUPPETS!!!!, and the People Mover. :lovestruc

Fab update! Kadence loves all of your pics and we are thinking of going to see the Muppets as well.

I bought an Mickey antenna topper, but it flew off my truck about a month after we got home:sad2:

There is no judging here because that is an amazing song! Such a great show!
Sooo much love for Lizzie :goodvibes

That antenna topper is so great...and tasty. Someone stole mine last month (boo hiss)

Awhhh Disney transportation is so soooo great! It really needs more merch...and shirts....and recognition for its awesomeness. AND possibly a song (or 10) about how wonderful it is! I love it!!

Nat and her new bestie look pretty tight, staring off into the distance together. I see a future here! I am also fairly sure he would be able to get her into the parks for free...or at least a highly discounted rate. What more does a girl need?

Muppet pins!!! I need those in my life!!! I am also so freakin excited for the new Muppet movie! Words can't describe... sigh. Me and the bestie decided today that we are dressing up. Can't wait!!

Lovely Buzz pics! Good thing you got them handy dandy Space Mountain passes haha YAY!

I'm so glad you think so. :rotfl: Such a good song and show!!
It's adorable! And NOOO why would someone do that!? :sad2: How rude.
I agree! Disney Transportation Clothing Line and Merchandise are HUGE necessities. And I would listen to the songs too, if they made them. :rotfl: I should just write them myself, really.
Aww yeah best buds.
I know right?!?! I'm so excited! LOL what are you going to wear??
Thanks! And I know, right!?

What fantastic photos in this update, but I totally adore how the castle looks in the above photo. <3 it!

The new facades totally pop more! It's so pretty all lit up and looks so festive.

How cute are those ghost Mickey balloons?

Um, those Disney transportation toys are beyond adorable. So cute. I think I would have bought some and taken them home under the pretense that my daughter would use them. They are just too cute.

And I totally thought of you ladies this morning when I saw the Muppets were "cohosting" on Good Morning America. So fun! I've totally had that song in my head all day though - "Do-dodo-do-do, do-dodo-do, manamana, do-dodo-do"

Thank you! :) I LOVE that picture as well. It's one of my favorites of the trip. The sky is such a beautiful color and the castle compliments it perfectly!
I agree!
Very cute!
I know right!? Hahaha I know... I wanted to buy them for myself. :rotfl: It's going to be dangerous when I have kids of my own because I'm going to want to buy them all of the Disney toys... mostly because I love them so much! :lmao:
OH MY GOSH THEY WERE?! That's awesome I wish I could have seen it!! I love that song!!

I love so many things in the update. I love the Poly gift shop, the antenna toppers, the transportation toys, Main St., the MUPPETS!!!!, and the People Mover. :lovestruc

Aww I'm glad you enjoyed it! I know it's just a bunch of great Disney things. :lovestruc

Thank you! Aww I'm so glad! You should definitely go see it... I'm so excited!!
Oh my gosh it did!?!? That's terrible!! I didn't know they could even do that! How unfortunate.

You just made my day! I never knew about all the antenna toppers! Totally getting that monorail one, or the mickey bar one, or.....oh hell with it, I will get them all and just change them out weekly on my car :thumbsup2

Very excited to be at the Poly in 78 days!

I LOVE DISNEY TRANSPORTATION TOO!!!

That is home. But really it's just such a warm feeling when you walk under the station.

Nat and Casey= THE DREAM TEAM.

Your pictures are gorgeous. Seriously that one of Main Street and the Confectionary is just beautiful.

MY SURPRISE!

I traded for my Hades pin with that guy! He was great. Oooh and I have a Gonzo pin from that pack. MUST COLLECT THEM ALL.

Carousel of Progress...what a classic.

Oh you and your old TTA. FRUMP.

Sue and Scott on Buzz Lightyear. Too adorable.

Thanks for the NyQuil. Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT.

Aww yay I'm glad I introduced you to them! There are so many different kinds! And hahaha that's exactly what I would do. :rotfl:
YAYY 78 day will fly by! That's going to be awesome!

O DAT BREAD...AND DA BUTTAH!!!!!!

Kona Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in WDW. Actually I just love everything about the Polynesian.

...Man, all this talk of delicious food is making me rumbly in the tumbly....I'll be backson....er, I mean, back soon

YUMMMM :cloud9: That guy knows what's up
So do I. It's like Heaven on Earth... or Hawaii on the east coast. :thumbsup2
Hahaha aww such a good movie. Precious. :lovestruc

HAHAHA the dream team. :lmao:
Oh thank you! I love those pictures too!
SURPRISE!
Oh yeah you did! Ah Hades.. whatta guy. And hahaha yes you MUST! Next trip!
I love COP. And TTA! They are the loves of my life. Classic.
Haha presh presh.
No problem. GOOD MORNING. LOL Jonathan: "Are you okay!?" :rotfl2:

I completely understand! :p
Thank you! I love my classic television shows haha.
YESSS I do! I saw the box set of all ten seasons yesterday at target. It is $169 :scared1: However, I am going to ask for it for christmas anyway. Maybe my grandma will get it for me :rotfl: And aww thanks :( I wish she wasn't leaving. But oh well.
Isn't it!? LOL that was a great episode. My friend (Dan, actually. Vickie's boyfriend) just shared the link of pheobe singing "the smelly cat song" on my wall.... LOL seriously WHY IS THAT THE BEST SHOW EVER?! :lmao:
And no problem! Anytime ;)

OF COURSE Target would have it! They're the BEST. It actually used to be like $200 or so, and some of my sister's friends all split the cost and got it for her birthday one year. MEANWHILE, I was like saving all my pennies and making these trips to Target buying each individual season, and she's like, OH YEAH, I got the whole freakin series. :sad2: I was like... yeah. Awesome. Hahaha.
I'm so glad he shared the joy of smelly cat with you! Haha oh Pheobe. She's great.
Also, all this talk about Lizzie McGuire makes me want to declare... "I...WANT...A...BRA!" Hahaha I will never forget poor Gordo's sad little face.

Ok so moving on to your actual update... :rotfl:

I really want an antenna topper... EVERY time I see one when I'm driving I get SO excited. 'IT'S A MICKEY MOUSE!' :thumbsup2
"HONEY, I'M HOME! But really." :lmao:
Aghhh... (not even sure what kind of noise that was supposed to be... so I'm just gonna go with it.) I love Disney Transportation SO MUCH. There's just something so special about it. Also, I've always wanted to buy one of those balloons. However I always decide against it because I think I would get really sad when the balloon deflated. On the last day of my last trip I was walking all sad around the resort and I saw a deflating Mickey balloon. I took a picture of it and it's the most depressing picture of life.
That looks like it was such a beautiful night at the Magic Kingdom, your pictures are gorgeous! AHH those window displays are awesome! For some reason they remind me of the spoonful of sugar scene from Mary Poppins.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE MUPPET MOVIE TOO! It's gonna be awesome!
Believe it or not I've never ridden on the People Mover... I don't know why. It looks so relaxing.
YAY BUZZ! Can't wait for more!

That bread does look really good! We've always been Ohana fans, but maybe next time we'll give Kona Cafe a try.

I love that picture of the Castle, when it's just starting to get dark. :goodvibes

So, I am at my Dad's house watching the dogs this weekend and they have a MacBook and your pictures are all showing up for me now!! I am so happy. I will be catching up on all of the pics of your past trip reports! Can't wait to get caught up!!

Love the update pics are great. Also I'm really excited bout Muppets movie as well.. mainly because I'll get to see it three months ahead of everyone else I know.. It's not being released until February in Ireland but since I'm going to Florida in 4 days I'll get to see it :goodvibes

GREAT pictures on Main Street! I love the window displays. I wonder what department at WDW puts them together? I'd love that job. :goodvibes

Ahhh the muppet pins! I might see the movie this Wednesday if I'm not too busy getting ready for the next day (3am wake up call for Disney!)

I absolutely looooove the picture of the crowds in front of the castle. I've been wanting to ask, did you get a new lens for your camera? Or have you just been editing them differently? Your pictures are extra incredible in this TR. :)

YAY BUZZ! Can't wait for more!

Oh my gosh what nice friends! I wish my friends would do that for me. :rotfl:
BAHAHA oh Lizzie. How I love her and her middle school awkwardness.

HAHAHA "ITS-A-MICKEY-MOUSE!" I'm so glad you picked up on that. :rotfl2: We love saying that.
But I know... Mickey Antenna toppers are the best! I'm sad they're making cars without antennas now because there's nowhere to put the antenna toppers! I guess that's the good thing about having an older car ;)
I know I want a balloon too! My Mom never let me get one when I was little because I would always want it right before we left and we never wanted to drag it on the plane :sad2: Sadness. You just can't deflate them, like you said, because they're the saddest looking things ever.
Oh thank you! And YAY for the muppets!
And OMG you NEED to ride the peoplemover!! Although the voiceover isn't as good anymore, it's still my favorite ride. :goodvibes

That bread does look really good! We've always been Ohana fans, but maybe next time we'll give Kona Cafe a try.

I love that picture of the Castle, when it's just starting to get dark. :goodvibes

You definitely should :thumbsup2 It's WONDERFUL. But I know... Ohana is tough competition. I say do both!!
Aww thank you! So do I!

I :lovestruc balloons too! Way more love than a fully formed adult should have for balloons! :rotfl: In fact, I just took the cousin to your photo last week when I spent a day at MK and put it in my PTR.

If there were a balloon smilie, it would be here!

Hahaha I completely understand. :rotfl: Aww how cute!
And ahh they need to make one!

So, I am at my Dad's house watching the dogs this weekend and they have a MacBook and your pictures are all showing up for me now!! I am so happy. I will be catching up on all of the pics of your past trip reports! Can't wait to get caught up!!

Oh YAY finally! I'm so glad it works now! I hope you enjoyed all of the pictures! :goodvibes

Love the update pics are great. Also I'm really excited bout Muppets movie as well.. mainly because I'll get to see it three months ahead of everyone else I know.. It's not being released until February in Ireland but since I'm going to Florida in 4 days I'll get to see it :goodvibes

Thank you so much! Oh my gosh you're quite lucky! I would not be able to wait that long when I knew the rest of the world could watch the muppets and I couldn't! But AHHH yay for 4 days till Florida!

Thank you so much! And oh my gosh I know. They probably have a decorating team that is like superbly skilled. I wish I could join it as well. :rotfl:
Ahhhh DISNEY!! Wow, that's early. But it's worth it! Nat is actually going to Disney tomorrow morning and she has to leave her house at 5:30 am. But it's okay... SO WORTH IT!
And aww thank you! I actually have just been manually editing them on iPhoto. Instead of "auto enhance" i've been sliding the levers myself so I pick what I want. I like them a lot! I'm glad you enjoy them :goodvibes I hope I'm not overdoing it but I think they look pretty good!

Chapter 20: "Enter the World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy"
August 21st, 2011

Our next stop was THE MAD TEA PARTY! (you must talk in your princess voice!)

dsc0591a.jpg

There is NO DANCING ON THE RIDE!

dsc0587d.jpg

But, you know us. We're rebellious. And WE DANCED!

dsc0589d.jpg

We got in a green teacup and squeezed the four of us in there. We were spinning like... crazy fast!! It was awesome. Hey, you gotta do it while you're young and can still tolerate that stuff, right?! Haha the day I can't handle the teacups anymore is going to be a sad, sad day.

dsc0590ir.jpg

After our dizzying experience, we stumbled through Fantasyland and headed over to Sarah's favorite ride - DUMBO!

We were on the Dumbos with yellow hats.

dsc0592d.jpg

While waiting in line for the ride, it was getting super close to Wishes! We were hoping we would be on the ride during the fireworks!

Unfortunately, we were literally the Dumbo ride right before the show started. We got off and Wishes began immediately! But hey, we still got to watch it so it was all good!

dsc0597am.jpg

We did something new here and we watched the fireworks from Fantasyland. It was.... WEIRD! But I liked it.

dsc0607ba.jpg

You become completely aware of all of the perspective tricks Disney uses during this show. There were fireworks going off above the carousel, but also behind us.

dsc0616yl.jpg

I was literally just spinning in circles the whole time trying to see everything.

dsc0626l.jpg

It was a cool experience and a nice different view than the usual!

dsc0628k.jpg

The fireworks were beautiful, as usual. I was so happy we got to see them again!

dsc0622gt.jpg

Then we decided to go on Snow White. This entire year on every trip I have been like "I NEED TO GO ON SNOW WHITE ONE LAST TIME!!" and then the next time I go... the ride is STILL open! So I thought this was going to be my last time, but I heard it's still going to be open when I go in December! So I guess this was my second last time.

dsc0633e.jpg

dsc0635ft.jpg

Then we decided to use our Space Mountain fastpasses... so back to Tomorrowland we went! On our way there, a Cast Member was doing water drawings! YAY!!!! I love those things.

dsc0636d.jpg

Kristen thought it was going to be Roger Rabbit, but it was actually Mickey Mouse! And the cast member posed for me. Whatta guy.

dsc0638f.jpg

The standby time was posted as 70 minutes for Space Mountain! We went in with our FP's... and the line was backed up into the 1st room! Dang. But we got through in about 20 minutes which isn't too bad!

I sat in the front this time!! YAY! You really can't see where you're going. It's CrAzY!

dsc0639ux.jpg

LOL oh Nat.

dsc0640x.jpg

We had a BLAST! (no pun intended. Okay actually... yeah it was. LOL)

dsc00210py.jpg

Then headed back over to Fantasyland. We decided to go on Winnie the Pooh!

dsc0641sc.jpg

dsc0642e.jpg

The queue is absolutely adorable. Nat was thoroughly entertained, even though Winnie the Pooh isn't her top favorite. I'm hoping she gained some respect for him during this experience!

dsc00212lw.jpg

The ride was precious, as always.

dsc0645s.jpg

Winnie the Pooh characters just make me so happy! They're so adorable and I feel like a child again whenever I see them.

dsc0646l.jpg

We decided that Owl reminds us of our old music teacher, Mr. Black. hahaha he's a wise one.

dsc0647u.jpg

We enjoyed our adventure through the Hundred Acre Woods and still had lots more to do that night!

I can't tell you how much IN LOVE I am with each and every one of your TR posts. I can't wait to have a free second so I can start updating mine again! Your TR's always go above and beyond working to fill my WDW fix when I'm stuck in real life. :rotfl2:

What exact dates are you going to be there for Christmas, again? I'm SO EXCITED THAT OUR COUNTDOWN IS 27 DAYS!!! 27. Not 270. Not 2.7 (unfortunately). 27. Gah!!!

And my recent revelation is that I will be having my family tackle THE kitchen sink while we're there. I'm STOKED to see how they react when I take them to Beaches and Cream and that freaking huge concoction heads our way. :rolleyes1

Just wanted to encourage you to keep up the good work and GOD BLESS YOU for making study nights bearable for me.

Another great update!:goodvibes

I cant imagine watching Wishes from fantasyland:laughing: I feel like it would not be as exciting without the castle being apart of it. It is amazing though how you think from the front that the fireworks are coming from like right behind the castle, but they're not! We got to watch them from our room at BLT, it was nice because the we could still see the castle, but the fireworks were not right behind it:laughing: They were really off to the right of the castle, that was weird.

I love watching Wishes from behind the castle!!!! I showed my parents that area a few months ago and they thought it was pretty cool to see it from a new location! The fireworks behind MK are about a mile back near where the CMs park which is also an interesting location to watch them from as well!!!!

Aww thank you so much! Yeah you should! And oh yay I'm SO glad! :goodvibes Thanks for the compliments!
I'm going from the 21st - Jan 2nd. SO EXCITED!!!! 30 days to go!!
Oh my gosh you TOTALLY should!! Haha take pictures! One day I have to do that... but I have to go with the right group of people or else a lot of it would go to waste. :rotfl:
I will! And oh thank you haha no problem!!

Another great update!:goodvibes

Yeah it's very different! It was still very magical, though. I have watched it from Frontierland and other areas before so I have seen it without the castle before. However, the Fantasyland view REALLY shows the use of perspective. You would never know from Main Street! It really is cool. AHH I can't wait to watch the fireworks from BLT  I bet it's an interesting view as well but I bet it's beautiful!

OMG, Kadence is just loving your photos! She says she wishes she was there and doing eveything you've done, including the dancing!:lmao: I have a feeling she's going to be "frumpy" like that!:rotfl:
