Hi

I ordered my tickets from Themepark Tickets Direct 1 month ago and have not received them yet? Any idea how long they normally take to arrive?

Thanks in advance

Well according to their website they promise this:

Fast, free, delivery within two weeks of booking :confused3

But like you with 12 days to go I still havent had mine niether, I phoned them last Thursday and they said they would be posted out by this Wednesday so I will let you know if I get them. :goodvibes

I would however give them a ring and ask, if you need the phone number it is 0870 040 0210 give them your reference number and let us know how you get on :goodvibes

Thanks, hope yours arrive soon too. My holiday will only be a good holiday if my tickets come lol. :thumbsup2

I will let you know what happens :goodvibes

Well I phoned Theme Park Tickets Direct again today to ensure my tickets were being sent out, and was told, Sorry they were still on order, so I kicked up a bit of a fuss, the operator went off and then came back and said she had spoken to dispatch and they would be sent out by recorded delivery today, so I should get them tomorrow, watch this space. :)

We ordered 3 adult disney unlimited tickets from them on the 31st july which have still not arrived, we have phoned and emailed them several times only to be told disney have not yet dispatched the 2007 tickets to them yet, the only thing is we have since purchased the rest of our tickets for the rest of the family from another company who kept to their promise and had the same tickets delivered to us within 7 days! :confused3

Well after waiting for the post to arrive this morning, I still have no delivery from Theme Park Tickets Direct, even though I was told they were sent 1st class recorded yesterday. I just phoned them back again and was told that they were actually sent out this morning (surprise surprise  ) recorded delivery, so once again I will wait until tomorrow to see if they arrive, this time I have managed to get the recorded delivery number, however I can only track that number to see when they have been delivered. So fingers crossed for tomorrow. :)

Quite dissapointing really after they promise to deliver within 2 weeks and this is now well over. Could do without all the worry when you only have 10 days to go. Atrraction Tickets Direct for me next time I think. :goodvibes

Thank you for registering to let me know, and welcome to the Dis, :welcome: do you have a trip planned, would love to hear all about it. :goodvibes

I have to admit the staff are very friendly, my problem is not with them but the actual company itself, who promise to deliver within 2 weeks of booking and have not, telling me they were posted yesterday when they were not. I have also read reviews on another forum about Theme Park Tickets Direct and Im afraid had I read them first I dont think I would have bothered as it seems we are not the only ones on this thread to be having this problem. Im sure you can appricaite with only 10 days to go, that this may be a cause for my concern.

However good to know that they have got it right for some of their customers. :thumbsup2

I thought because we were not going next year I would start by dropping them and email :surfweb:

I did this last night and got a reply today from the customer relations manager. Here is an extract from his email

'We received the ticket stock for 2007 tickets on Monday of this week, and we are now printing off all the outstanding orders to get them despatched.
You should have the tickets within the next 10 days, and as soon as I am able to confrim that your tickets have been sent, I will write again to let let you know, so that you will be aware of when to expect them.'

He apologised several times for me receiving incorrect information when I ordered the tickets.

I will keep you posted when they arrive

This is what we have been told today. In previous conversations they have said it was because disney had not issued the 2007 tickets yet. I thought after reading these posts I would give them a call, the women I spoke to said that it was the companies policy not to issue the tickets too far in advance as they were the actual tickets and if they were lost or stollen they would not be able to replace them, she said it was a security measure but if this is true maybe it should be clearly stated on they're website. Anyway I'm going to stop moaning because as soon as I get my tickets I'm sure all this will be forgotten, VERY annoying though! :rolleyes1

I guess that as none of us are responsible enough to look after our tickets if we get them too far in advance, they must be doing us a favour.

I may send them my passport and ask them to look after that too :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Themeparkticketsdirect are actually Keith Prowse - one of the largest attraction ticketing agents in the world, and certainly the one that 95% of the high street TA's use.

I've used them lots without any problems, but as with any company they're run by humans and we can make mistakes! As with any company, i would say as suggested above - give it a bit over the quoted time then drop them an email or phone call to see what's happening.

Personally I wouldn't use anyone else, but this is purely my personal thoughts since i see companies going bust all the time - as TPTD are part of the largest ticketing agent, i feel safer using them over anyone else. :goodvibes

My boss, on the other hand, clearly has no clue how to search for the best price - he bought his tickets for his trip in two weeks at about 15-20% over the best price i could find...

Perhaps not use this company again Sue, Glad those tickets have arrived in the nick of time!

Too close for my comfort Kaylee, so back to Attraction Tickets Direct next time, will be worth the extra £5.00 per ticket for the lack of stress and phones calls I had to make. :)
