I just booked a theme park view room in main tower at the Contemporary. Is there a certain location and level I should request to get the best view of MK?? Thanks for the help!!

Sort of, but i don't remember what? I think the view is similar, but it's either the odd (most likely) or even numbers where you can watch from bed.

With an odd numbered room, you can be laying in bed and see the Castle. We like the higher floors also. A Theme Park View also comes with a parking lot view, so the higher up the easier it is to overlook that.

I'd request "high floor, close to the MK" or "high floor, north end of the building" or something like that.

Buildings on the other end/south end are over Chef Mickey's and that place does create a bit of noise at times that tends to float up (not an issue if you're never around during peak meal times). I wouldn't be mad/upset if I had a room on that end, but if I could choose I'd rather be away from it.

I would definitely request a high floor closest to Magic Kingdom. I had a room almost at the very end away from Magic Kingdom and still had an amazing view, but the noise from Chef Mickey's was terrible! It was NYE and I wanted to sleep in on New Year's Day, but I'm a light sleeper and woke up when that restaurant opened for breakfast. We were on the 7th floor, so I think if we were a little higher it would have helped. On the TV there is a channel where you can play the music for the fireworks, it's great watching them out on your balcony.
