I fly Weds and my tickets are being posted tomorrow (so they say) by special delivery (so they say that will not be affected by the strike), unless they are using a private company I can't see that. Anyone else have the same problem? Got the 2 park bonus ticket for Universal and I can't seem to find them for £74 for 2 weeks when you actually arrive in Orlando so will have lost out on a bargain if they don't arrive. Booked them 3 weeks ago!

I have never bought in the UK before and don't think I will ever bother again. There are 8 tickets so it's a lot of money paid out. Could do without this hassle!
 
It is a shame you are having this extra stress so near to your holiday.
Is there no way you could contact the ticket comapny and ask them if you can pick them up when you arrive - assuming that they are a local company that is?
 
Maybe they could email you a voucher that you could cash in for the real tickets at the gate? :idea: :goodvibes:
 

My parents had the same problem with the same company. They leave on Saturday and their tickets came today special delivery. My mam called them last Thursday and they said they would arrive by Monday, but they didn't so she called them on Tuesday and was told Thursday.

Thankfully they did arrive today. I would suggest you call the company. Their contact details are on their website.

Hi Debs, I have been having same problem with this company. I ordered tickets on july 10th and we fly on wednesday also, have spoken numerous times on phone, have emailed, eventually I emailed their managing director and he has assured me that my tickets will arrive Friday or saturday morning ( I am not holding my breath!)
I don,t know how the postal strike will affect it but as far as TPTD are concerned I have told them that I need the tickets by 11th August.

I have used this company before, about 3 years ago, with no problems. Last year I used Attraction tickets direct, and they were very efficient but they posted me the wrong tickets which I had to send back, so that is why I didn't use them this year.
This has really put a damper on our holiday and I hope that the outcome is good for you and for us.
 
Thanks for all your replies. I have contacted them and they said they would be sent special delivery tomorrow so I should get them Sat am. Fingers crossed. I will be looking for a refund Monday if not, as you can now get these tickets via Universal's website and collect at the gate.
 
If ever using one of these companies that don't send tickets until a short time before your travel date, always say you are travelling a few weeks earlier. I nearly booked tickets with this company and foolishly told them my travel date, they said they would be sent the week before and when I said I wasn't happy. I said I would only buy tickets if they were sent straight away and they said it wasn't their policy to do that. I said if they didn't I would get tickets from somewhere else and they said fine. I couldn't believe it as it was a £600 order. Made me very suspicious. Worked out great in the end as I decided to get annual passes for Disney and bought the week long Universal tickets which were $79.
