I love the opening show or ceremony performed in front of the MK before it opens. Do the other parks do anything like this? What is the best time to arrive at Epcot/MGM/AK to see the opening shows, if they do have them? Thanks!

just wondering also???

Anyone ???

Epcot doesn't really have a show. There are CMs out front entertaining the crowd. The bus pulls up with the Characters on Holiday. They wave, drive off. Then the CMs from the attractions walk you to their attractions. Think of it as them trying to hold back the herd.

Nothing at MGM or Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom and MGM don't have any show to open the parks. Just friendly CM's at the rope to keep you entertained.

After about 17 visits to the "World", my daughter and I finally saw the opening show at MK. It was pretty neat. Train comes up with the characters and the guest family of the day and they do a little song and dance before a countdown to open the gates.

Now...How do you get to be the guest family of the day at MK?

Animal Kingdom has an opening show. On Discovery Island, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto pull up on a safari truck and go through a routine about getting ready to tour the park. Then, Mickey rises up on a scaffold scissor lift in front of the Tree of Life, and joins the show. Then, they open the park.

I thought I saw CM with insects in little cages at the front of Animal Kingdom.
