I know about Mouse World Radio and some of the other Live365 Disney stations, but I have been having issues with the app and ads and the website. I just really don't want to pay $60 a year to get Live365 ad free, especially if the app and website are still flaky. Does anyone have the VIP membership? Is the sound better, and does the Mouse World app work better with the VIP membership?

Other than the internet radio stations, can you purchase the theme park music? I see that the Disney Music Emporium sells the movie soundtracks and has a CD of Disneyland attractions. However, can you purchase the background music that is played in the parks, like on Main Street or the DHS Hollywood Blvd area? Also, can you get the soundtracks for other attractions, like at Epcot or DHS?

Thanks

I bought the Walt Disney World Official Album on iTunes. It's basically 36 attraction songs, not background music. We love it and listen all the time. I never had any luck with those streaming park music things. Lol

I haven't had any issues with ads (other than hearing the same ones over and over), but you can do a free trial of the VIP membership to see if it works better for you.

Background music is probably not going to be available for purchase, but you can download this CD of WDW park music:

http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disney-W...p-0&keywords=walt+disney+world+official+album

(It's also available from iTunes, but I don't know how to do a link from there.)

There's also downloads available for Wishes and MSEP.

I have been a VIP member for the past few years and really like it. You can usually find coupon codes that bring it down to about $45 for the year. I use the iPhone app, and the PC desktop app all the time. There are probably about 20 good stations that play Disney theme park music. Aside from being commercial free, I know there are some stations that you can end up being locked out of if you are not VIP.

I am desperate to get hold of that album, but it's not on UK Amazon :(

Have you considered ordering from the U.S. Amazon site? I have friends who order music from Amazon sites from all over the world with no problems. Should be on iTunes as well.

purchase the area music loops? not that i've found. i've looked everywhere. however, you can find near complete collections on the aforementioned d-cot and youtube. we listen to the area loop for pooh bear queue on the way to school and the port orleans bus loop on the way home.

Do you use the Live365 or Mouse World Radio app? I had been using the Mouse World app but was playing around with the Live365 app this morning. It seemed to be more stable.

YouTube is replete with whole attraction loops. All you have to do is search.

Yes, but the sound quality is usually garbage. I won't even download MP3s, because I think they are atrocious sounding. My preference would be to get the CDs and then burn them to lossless format. That's usually what we do.

I use the Live365 app. There are much better stations on Live365 than Mouse World in my opinion.

I would only use it for Disney-related channels. I have heard of some of the others on Live365. I will probably try them out. I subscribe to SiriusXM in my car, and I do audiobooks. So, I don't really need any of the other channels on Live 365. That's why I am reluctant to pay for it. Thanks

Well, after many years of loud noise exposure, they sound great to me...
