Hey guys,

Was just wondering if any of you have ever purchased theatre tickets from lastminute.com?

I'm looking to buy some tickets to see "Ghost Stories", and last minute seem to be offering some money off their tickets at the moment. The top price tickets are around £15 cheaper than thos offered on another ticket website.

So I was just curious - what are people's experiences of booking tickets through lastminute.com? For example, have you got what you paid for?

TIA :)

i havent used them before, the aspect of not knowing where you are booking puts me off a little (but if the tickets were discounted for when i want to go, i would probably be a little 'looser')

this might help a little if you havent seen it

this shows the seating plan of the theatre by price, might give an idea of where you could be sat.

heard great things about Ghost Stories, planning to go next sunday on the way to the airport!

I've bought numerous things off of last minute.
They send you an email with the voucher and you go to the box office and exchange for your tickets.
I've never had any problems! Even used them for hotels

Hope this helps

owned by Sabre Holdings who own a lot of businesses and have Approximately 9,000 employees in 59 countries and 2008 revenues of approx. $3 billion
Link to firms owned by them http://www.sabre-holdings.com/ourBrands/keyBrands.html as with all thing firms can go bust but I suspect you would not have a problem getting tickets from them ,used them for tickets and flights

Thanks for your comments guys.

I've used them many times to book hotels, so not worried about the company itself.
My concern was just the fact that you can't chose where to sit and it doesn't say what place in the theatre their tickets apply to as a previous poster mentioned :)

But no worries - the saving is too great, I'll go with lastminute :)

I need to see Ghost Stories!!

Thanks again :)

Hey bethjo
I went and saw ghost stories last night. The theatre is really small, so unless you are up in the gods it won't matter that much where you are sat (I was in row c and didn't feel too close, but walking in from the bar the back of the theatre felt like a reasonable view as well.) The set was very minimalist with an increadible sound and lighting design.
It wasn't what I was expecting. But it was fantastic.
