The Young and The Restless .. Take 5 .. Spoilers Welcome!

TUESDAY US SPOILER!!!

Chris tells Paul she wants an air tight case against Adam. Paul says that Victor may have used inside sources to doctor the autopsy report. Chris asks if Victor is setting Adam up. He reminds her about Victor and Adam’s history. Victor is hell bent on revenge on his family. He assures Chris he will share any information. She doesn’t want Victor to make a fool of her in court again.

Ian shows Victor a headline in the National Inquisitor about Adam adding murder to his list of achievements. He sees Victor’s look of satisfaction. He asks how Victor did it. Victor tells him to stop fishing for information. Victor says Adam is a murderer and got himself into this mess and leaves.

Vicky arrives at Adam’s and asks if Victor could be capable of being is behind the oil spill. Adam says Victor is capable and probably working with someone on the inside. Vicky says the oil spill have been her fault for not keeping a closer eye on the company. Adam tells her to stop doubting herself. That’s what Victor wants. Later, Adam asks Dr. G to meet with him. He tells Chelsea he hopes Victor said something to Dr. G.

Nick arrives at NE looking for Vicky. He tells Summer he wants to help with the oil spill issue. Luca arrives. Nick asks why Luca is there. Summer says Luca has been invaluable. Nick says because she is dating him, doesn’t give him the right to be there. She tells Nick they are living together. Nick asks to speak to Summer and tells Luca to get out. Nick says this is moving too fast. He reminds her she didn’t know Austin and she was just broke up with Kyle. She says this is different. Luca respects and believes in her and he loves her. Nick says Luca has no loyalty. He betrayed, Victor, Noah and Adam and points out what he did to Marisa and Noah. Luca returns and says Nick is right. He says he wants to be part of something bigger and Summer has shown him he can be part of a family. He says Vicky approves. Vicky arrives and says she has a new appreciation for Luca’s talents. She says he is well versed in the oil industry and has offered valuable information. Nick says they are living together. Vicky says they are adults. Luca promises to look after Summer. Nick says he will try to get on board with this. Alone, Vicky tells Nick she went to see Victor and she is sure Victor has someone working on the inside. Nick accuses Luca and asks why she’s in Luca’s corner. Vicky says it’s not Luca.

Sharon wants to have a picnic but Dylan has to work. He thinks Sharon has an ulterior motive. He knows she wants him to step back from the murder investigation. She admits it. Paul arrives and says he is investigating the department to see if someone has been helping Victor and they can’t use the computers at work so he was hoping they could work here. Sharon objects but Dylan convinces her otherwise. Dylan gets a text from Adam asking him to meet him and Dr. G at the AC. Sharon tells Paul that she wishes the journal was never found. She is afraid of what Victor will do.

Later Paul is working on his computer. He gets a message and calls Dylan.

Chelsea, Adam and Dylan arrive at the AC. Chelsea goes to speak with Chris. Chelsea says that Adam is innocent and asks Chris to look beyond the obvious. Chris says she will call Victor to the stand.

Adam thanks Dr. G for seeing him. Dylan shows her his badge and says he was the one who arrested Adam. Adam asks if Victor said anything to her about him being charged with murder. He says Victor set him up and he is fighting for his life. Dr. G says Victor told her Adam is incapable of forgiveness and is capable of this crime. She says she feels sorry for Victor and that he has such an ungrateful family and a son like Adam and leaves.

Later Adam tells Chelsea he is grateful that Judge Gates sees right through Victor. He gets a text and says this could be interesting. They leave.

Victor thinks Vicky has come to ask his advice about the oil spill. Instead she asks him if he is responsible for this disaster. He asks how the hell he could set up an oil spill in the middle of the ocean from prison. Vicky points out the all the things he has done from prison. Victor is outraged and says they have only themselves to blame for what befalls them and leaves.

Dr. G meets Victor and says after what happened she thought it was best if she stayed away. She says she saw Adam who accused Victor of framing him. She doesn’t believe Victor would lie to her. Victor assures her Adam is guilty. They kiss.

In the park with Sharon, Dylan gets a call from Paul saying it looks like Victor may have paid someone off. Chelsea makes a call saying she needs to meet right away.

Ian tells Adam he is about to make his day a lot better.

Day Ahead
- Nick tells Luca he wants to know what’s going on with Vicky
- Vicky comes to see Travis
- Ian tells Michael he wants to give his statement, in person, in court

WEDNESDAY US SPOILER

Dylan and Paul target a lab tech because of his expensive purchases and go to question him.

Chelsea tells Michael the lab tech just bought a big boat. Michael e wants to talk to Adam but Adam went to see Ian. Michael is concerned that Adam learned nothing from his last encounter with Ian. Chelsea says Adam asked Ian to get information from Victor. Michael thinks it may be a good idea. His concern is that Ian hates Victor but he also hates Adam.

Adam asks if Ian got Victor to admit he set him up. Ian says he got a few juicy morsels that can ensure that his confession will hold up under the closest scrutiny. Adam will get a lawyer to depose him. As he is about to leave Ian asks Adam come through on his promise. Adam says he got him out of solitary. Ian insists on more. Ian says if he is going to go on record against Victor he needs more and that he is Adam’s best hope for acquittal.

Nick asks Vicky what Luca has over her. She says he has nothing. Luca listens at the door. Nick says Summer is headed for another heartbreak with Luca. Vicky doesn’t think Luca will hurt Summer. Luca knocks and comes in. Vicky asks Luca to tell Nick if he has something over her. Luca says he understands Nick’s distrust but if he had something on Vicky he would not settle for an outside consultant’s position. Nick is skeptical. Vicky assures Nick she is comfortable working with Luca. Nick leaves. Vicky says she hopes she has not lied to Nick. Luca did not want Nick to know she was unreachable the night of the crisis. Luca says if she needs to share something private with him she can trust him.

Dylan and Paul meet James, the lab tech, at CL. Paul doesn’t want any surprises in the courtroom so they want to make sure they have all the information. Dylan says they don’t want the guilty party to walk away. Dylan says James’ job must pay well and mention his new boat and the suite at the AC. James says he wanted to impress his girlfriend and he saved his money. Paul says a crime has been committed and someone is going to pay. Dylan says they don't want the guilty party to walk away. James says he did nothing wrong and leaves. Michael arrives and says the lab tech looked very afraid. Paul says he will inform Michael when they have something concrete.

Adam returns and tells Michael and Chelsea that Ian will testify. Michael says Chris is going to rip Ian apart on the stand. Adam says they have irrefutable evidence that Victor set him up and Ian wants to be moved to a minimum security prison for his testimony. Michael admits this is doable. Adam says between the lab tech and the confession it’s a slam dunk. Michael says the more holes they find the better for their defense. Alone Adam and Chelsea are happy they stayed to find the truth instead of running. Adam says no one will come between them including Victor. They kiss and make love. After the loving Chelsea still thinks Adam will want payback for Victor.

Nick finds Luca at the tower and asks what’s going on with Vicky. Nick says Luca knows something. Luca says she has been dealing with a lot and she is entitled to her private time. Nick tells him to come clean if he wants to stay with Summer and work at NE. Luca shows him pictures of Vicky with Travis. Luca became concerned about Vicky and had her investigated. Luca assures Nick that she knows nothing about the pictures. Luca says the bartender may be problem for them. Nick says there is no “them” but Luca will do something for him. Later, Luca discovers that Travis worked on Wall Street.

Travis is on the phone when Vicky arrives. He asks why she is there. He accuses her of repeatedly lying to him. She says she is back for a drink and a dance. Travis says it’s over. Vicky says he can keep on judging her or take a chance to get to know the real her. She admits that at first he was an escape but she feels safe knows she can trust him. He plays a song and they dance. Nick arrives and says “so this is where you have been hiding”.

Michael arrives to take Ian’s deposition. Ian wants to make sure that Adam has kept his end of the bargain. Michael assures him he has. When Michael tries to depose Ian, Ian says he wants to give his statement, in person, in court. Michael says Ian testifying in court is not in Adam’s best interest. Ian asks if he wants the information of who forged the journal and or the contact who was bribed to taint the autopsy report. Ian says he becomes a target once he spills the beans. He is putting his life jeopardy and wants a few small favors in return.

Paul calls Dylan and tells him that James is dead. It appears to be a suicide.

Day Ahead
- Phyllis tells Luca to leave town while he can. Imagine what she could do to a delicate flower like him
- Michael tells Adam the lab tech will not testify. Adam says he’s dead. Michael asks how he knows that
- Victor beats Ian up

THURSDAY US SPOILER!!!

Nick followed Vicky to Hank’s. She accuses him of crossing the line. Vicky says this is her refuge. Travis asks Nick to leave. Vicky tells Travis she needs to talk to Nick but they will finish their dance.

Luca gets a call from Summer saying she is in Georgia helping Daniel with his artwork. Phyllis arrives and says he doesn’t get the concept of family. His wife ditched him and the Newmans have no use for him. He says Summer asked him to move in with her. He says Nick didn’t scare him off. She says Nick plays by the rules but she never does. She took on Victor and now he is in prison. Phyllis tells Luca to leave town while he can or imagine what she could do to a delicate flower like him. He asks if this was a threat. She admits it is and when she decides to act on it, he will not see it coming and leaves.

Michael tells Adam he could not get a signed affidavit but Ian will reveal all in court. Michael says Ian knows how to work people and this will help their case. Chelsea says once they can prove Victor paid the lab tech to mess with the tissue samples, Adam will be free. Adam says if Ian can clear him then what Ian wants Ian gets. Michael gets a call from Paul. He tells Adam the lab tech is dead. Michael says Alan was being investigated for financial gain and Alan’s response was suicide. That with Ian’s testimony gives them a very good case and leaves. Chelsea assures Adam that Michael will come through. Adam says everyone thinks he is like Victor always thinking one or two steps ahead. He says Victor did not leave any loose ends. He admits he has done plenty to be in prison now.

Paul tells Dylan that whatever Alan knew, it died with him. Dylan wants to find the girlfriend. Denise arrives and tells them she and Alan never really had anything to talk about. Dylan says until Alan bought the boat. Dylan asks if Alan mentioned how he came into all that money. She says Alan said having rich friends was better than winning the lottery. They show her a picture of Victor. She knows him but never met him. Alan would have bragged if he knew Victor. She leaves. Paul reviewed the video and tells Dylan no one entered. Dylan gets a call with the name of who provided the money.

Nick says Vicky doesn’t know this guy. She says Travis is up front. Nick says he may have secrets leaving her vulnerable. He says Travis may have an agenda. Vicky says Victor is the only one with an agenda. She says she went to see Victor if he had a hand in the oil rig crisis. Nick says Victor has a lot of people on the payroll even this bartender. Nick tells her Luca has been keeping tabs on her and told him where to find her.

Michael tells Paul that Alan made a confession by his suicide. He is sure Victor is behind this. Paul says the money did not come from Victor.

After making love Dr. G says Victor doesn’t deserve to be there but Adam should be in a cell. Ian arrives and after Victor leaves, he tells her she needs to hear something about her patient.

Later Ian says Victor goes to Dr. G because of her hands on approach. He gloats that he will be walking out of prison alone. Ian says he is going to testify on Adam’s behalf and how Victor bragged about forging a journal and falsifying an autopsy report. As Ian is about to leave, Victor beats him up. The warden arrives and Victor tells the him that Ian and Adam are conspiring against him. The warden denies Victor any visitors or visits to the infirmary for punching a wall.

Ian is with Dr. G and tries to tell her how Victor has played her and quotes Victor. He says Victor is cold blooded monster and a bad man.

Luca arrives and Vicky thanks Luca for all his help with the oil crises. She asks why he has been following her and was it for blackmailing something more nefarious. He did it to protect her. He says Travis is a walking lie and shows her a picture of him. He was a commodities trader; his specialty, oil. Luca says the timing of her meeting Travis is suspicious. He says Travis tried to ruin her and NE.

Phyllis joins Nick at the bar and she is not going to let Luca take advantage of Summer. She wants Luca gone before Summer returns. Phyllis says the best way to get rid of Luca is to let him win. She says that every time they attack Luca, Summer defends him. Luca wants credibility and to work at NE. She says they need to embrace him in every way and this will send him running. She says Luca will wind up hurting Summer.

Day Ahead
- Phyllis tells Billy and Bethany they look like they are having fun. Bethany says it beats falling off a motorcycle
- Hilary tells Lily she can tell Lily whatever she wants and Lily will have to accept it or face the consequences
- Ash yells at Simon that the entire thing could implode and he knew all along and didn’t tell her. She tells him to start talking, she wants to hear everything

Phyllis tells Billy she couldn’t confess about their affair. The two have sex again but are consumed with guilt. Then they hear Jack!

Adam wants Ian to appear in court and is desperate enough to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Ian agrees to testify for Adam for a price. Adam goes to see Ian and realizes he plans to escape during transfer. Adam agrees to help.

FRIDAY US SPOILER

Paul and Dylan wonder why Hilary was paying Alan off. They discover Alan was part of Simon’s drug trial and that there was a press release about a new drug that would roll out in the fall. Paul questions the timing saying it usually takes years for a drug to be rolled out. They both realize that Hilary paid Alan to alter some lab result for an early roll out.

Ash and Simon discuss Hilary’s ego and how she wants and early roll out of the drug putting people’s lives at risk. Ash wants to do a press release informing the public that there is a problem with the drug and the drug will not be rolled out in the fall. Simon feels they have to make Hilary see that her life is in danger and to postpone the release. Simon calls Hilary to tell her about her health issue. She asks if he has fixed the problem. He says no. She says they have nothing to talk about and hangs up. Ash says Hilary thinks she’s immortal. He says she needs to know she is in danger. He says there is a problem with the drug on a cellular level and he needs to perfect it. Ash leaves to find Hilary.

After hanging up on Simon, Hilary’s hand trembles. She ignores it. Cane and Lily are discussing the suicide and Hilary tells them this is a PR nightmare and she will handle the press. Lily says it’s none of Hilary’s business. Hilary says Devon owns the AC and she cares what happens and she knows how to handle a crisis. Hilary tells Lily she is calling the shots and she can tell Lily whatever she wants and Lily will have to accept it or face the consequences.

Paul and Dylan arrive to question Hilary. They ask about Alan and if he pushed the report through for the drug roll out in the fall. Paul says there were several large deposits into Alan’s account. Hilary says Simon told her how much to pay each employee and they should talk to him. Ash arrives. Paul asks Ash where Simon is. She says at the hospital. Paul and Dylan leave. Hilary says they questioned her about Alan and asked if he altered some lab results. Ash says there are two patients reacting badly and tells her she has a hand tremor that is serious. She warns Hilary that she is signing her own death sentence is she is trying to put Simon in jail. Ash leaves and calls Simon. He tells him to leave the lab now.

Phyllis and Jack see Bethany and Billy who come to say hello. Billy tries to leave but Bethany refuses. Phyllis says it looks like they were having fun. Bethany says it beats falling off a motorcycle. Jack wants to buy them a drink and Bethany leaves to change her clothes. Jack wants them to set their differences aside and share an evening together. Jack leaves to get a table. Later, Jack tells Bethany how he and Phyllis met and how much they love each other. Bethany tells them to hang on to all that yummy goodness. She says she knows Billy is trying to get over the love of his life, Vicky.

Phyllis is alone at the bar. She has a flashback to several encounters with Billy and with Jack. She leaves upset.

Billy is not happy. Bethany says she was playing her part and if anyone is going to give this away, it will be him. Phyllis arrives and pays Bethany off telling her to shut up and leave. She leaves. Billy says Bethany can go to Jack at any point. Phyllis assures him Bethany wants the cash not trouble. Billy wants them to be together and tells her to tell Jack.

Back at Sharon’s Paul says Simon feels the walls closing in, he panicked and took off. Paul puts out an APB on Simon and later Paul is told they found Simon’s car. Dylan leaves to talk to Simon.

Ash tells Simon that they need to go to the police and tell them Hilary paid off Alan, not him. Simon says he can’t turn Hilary in because he knew who Hilary's kidnapper was and so did she. Now she is blackmailing him. Ash says she thought she had to protect the project from Hilary but it was him. She yells that this could implode and he knew all along and didn’t tell her. She wants to know everything. He says his focus was to treat Hilary and the person who contacted him did not mean harm. He says there were others involved. Dylan arrives and tells Simon he has questions for him.

Jack tells Hilary he appreciates everything she has done. Lily tells Cane Hilary is practically drooling over Jack. She approaches Jack and asks how he can’t see what Hilary is. Lily tells Jack that Hilary has her sights on Jack and that Hilary has torn this family apart. She says Hilary is the reason Neil is drinking. Hilary faints. Lily laughs and says Hilary is faking and tells Hilary to get up. Jack says this is not an act and to call an ambulance.

Day Ahead
- Sharon is asleep on the couch when Sage tells Sharon to wake up
- An angry Jack to Phyllis: this time you kept it in the family and with my damned brother. I am going to kill the son of a b***h

Poor Simon......is Devon that blind when it comes to Hilary? Seriously he stays with her knowing what she is doing to his family...all the blackmail from Ash and Simon all the way to his sister....yet there he stays because He loves her and she loves him....UGH....

Hilary has just lost her powers....because if she is in a coma again she cant talk or blackmail anyone any more......I hope she is in a coma and she is given treatment AFTER it is fixed...

As far as the oil spill mess I think it is Luca....he did it to save the day.....after all he is an oil man all the way...who better to sabotage the rig....he is such a snake.....

So the bartender was a WalL Street guy yet puts Vicky down for being rich? UGh......I hated that the writers were going to where they were/are going to with him...they had his sound like he was entitled to have the banks give him $$$$$$....he most likely has bad credit due to a bad business deal buying the bar....he wanted a loan to fix what is broken when he was running a business and not putting $$$ aside for a rainy day...and why wont the Insurance pay for it? I hate when the writers have the have nots complain about those that have.....mind you Im not talking about the poor

Controversial “The Young and the Restless” executive producer Jill Farren Phelps has been let go from her position, according to a statement from CBS..


“On behalf of everyone at the show, we extend our sincere thanks to Jill for her years at Y&R and wish her continued success,” said Steve Kent, a Sony Pictures Television senior vice president of U.S. programming.

According to TV Line, Mal Young, a former executive producer at uber-popular British drama, “EastEnders,” is taking over for Phelps. Young joined the Y&R team as supervising producer earlier this year.

During her long career producing six daytime dramas, Phelps has made enemies in the soap fan community. She’s known for firings fan favorites and tinkering with shows to viewers’ chagrin. However, she’s also produced more daytime serials than anyone else and won several Daytime Emmys.

Phelps also executive-produced two primetime shows, “General Hospital: Night Shift” and “Hollywood Heights.”
