OH… I’m so loving this!! FINALLY….Sharon is exposed for the selfish, weak-willed, irresponsible nutjob that she really is!! I loved it when Michael said “She and Nick have been thru this before. It’s the kids I really feel for…” The only thing that’s bringin’ me down is the knowledge that Adam really is being framed and that he and Sharon are gonna be vindicated when this is all over! Regardless of whether Adam is innocent this time, the fact remains that (along with the list of his other reprehensible deeds) he kidnapped her baby!! Why would she allow that into her life???...on any level??? UGH!!....My level of disgust was so high, I couldn’t watch the end of the show.

Side note: How demented is Adam to believe that he was framed in the “Victor diary” dealio? ...and even if he didn’t actually kill Richard Hightower, how could he even begin to get indignant with anyone who claims he did?

In a special stand-alone episode of The Young and the Restless on Dec. 23, Victor (Eric Braeden) will face his darkest demons when he is paid a visit from certain characters from Christmas past.

AHA!! I knew it!!!!… Hmmm….maybe this time “The Moustache” will turn his life around for good!! …naaaaaw!......it’ll never happen!!

i really think they were going to make adam hightowers killer but then they found out that even though he's evil people liked him so they changed his mind to see if they could redeem him however hightower was alreadey dead so as usual they just left that storyline unended with no answers.

Me too! ...I think they are gonna let Adam off the hook!! ...we all see it comin’!! Adam’s gonna prove his innocence in Skye's murder, Sharon is gonna shine AGAIN…and we're all gonna be disgusted!! I think someone also said it in a previous posting…Adam’s gonna become Mr. Misunderstoood.

Years ago, Michael was a horrible person who did awful things to Cricket. He has a very sordid past.

Kevin's past is littered with a murder attempt and other bad acts. And, Jana, too, is a murderer, if I recall correctly.

The key ingredient in any great plot is conflict, and lots of it. I applaud the writers for creating that in spades with the Sharon/Adam plot line.

To me, Y&R is more interesting at the moment that it's been for a decade or so. I'm enjoying the Sharon/Adam storyline, as is my sister. (What better plot to get viewers riled up than a story about a woman who has everything and gives it all up for love.) Of course, Mom is disgusted with me, my sister and the Y&R writers!!

But, it's been the family soap for many years -- gives us something to hash over on holidays!

I agree with you 100% Sharon and Michael have amazing on screen chemistry. I honestly believe that the Adam character was originally created to do bad to the residents of GC, then he was to be killed off. The writers did what they set out to do, but they didn't anticipate the reaction from the Adam supporters who emailed, tweeted, mailed and called CBS DEMANDING they bring the actor/character back. They know that Michael Muhney is an asset to their cast and they are obviously determined to keep him on. So, just like Victor, Phyllis, Kevin, Michael, Jack, Lauren, Jana, Billy, Nikki even Ashley, he will be redeemed, and by this time next year, Sharon and Adam will be back on top. Like I always say, it's not exactly what I want in my real life, but in the reel life, its PERFECT TV!!!!!

Gotta say, …big picture, I totally agree, without the conflict it makes for boring TV. For me, though, it’s the little picture -- the individual character and characterizations that become reeeeeeally frustrating! Just like in real life, it’s frustrating when we are on this side of anyone’s redemption! Adam has been nothing but pure evil in thought and deed. Sharon has certainly never had to answer for any of her transgressions!

We see other characters, like Jack, and Victor, answer all the time! Whether or not they actually pay their debt to society (no one in that town does), when these guys plot, they get caught and at the very least are publically vilified. We get to see them hang their heads in shame, take responsibility for their actions (even if reluctantly), make nice for a little while, then move on to plot another day! Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t seen that apologetic period for either Adam or Sharon. Adam blames Victor and moves on to his next victim, Sharon blames “the stress” (or Phyllis) and just goes back to her love interest du jour who feels the need to protect her!! I guess I just want to see that day of reckoning that shakes them up and makes them both turn the corner into a more sympathetic space. For now, it’s just frustrating that we have these 2 people that take no ownership!!!

You’re both right though, this is the compelling stuff that makes us all watch!

I agree...and as much as I dont like what Adam has done and cant figure out for the life of me what is up with Sharon....i like there chemistry together....I like Adam and Sharon better than her and Nick....I think because Adam does not try to control her like nick always has....I also think that is part of the attraction for her with him...she feels like she does not have to try so hard to get approval of her love.

What i dont get is how the Judge could let Daisy out so easily....as if what she has done means nothing....

The Christmas scroog thing with Victo sound really good....I will look forward to that.

I also look forward to when all is found out about Skye and Victor....for once I would really like to see him do real jail time. You would think he works for the GOVT with all he gets away with.

I want Victoria and Billie to have a baby.....twins would be great.....I hope the writers dont mess to much with them because they are real hot right know in the eyes of the viewers....we are just loving it. I say mess with someone else and leave them alone....

another thing that has me stymied is the Neil/Cole/lily story line....BORING ALWAYS!!!!! not just for weeks but for years....can they really not come up with better story lines for them....I mean they have been terrible for so long that people just fast forward when they are on....I say hire another actress and bring back Drew....we will get use to another Drew because she has been gone for so long.....sure there is no one like the originals but after awhile if they look for someone that is spunky just having her back would make me tune in on them again. All they have to do is try it...

what have they got to loose. If she does not work out than send her back to Paris....that is where she disappeared to before.....

I so don't want to see the Sharon and Adam story that I'm trying to decide if I'm even going to watch it in the next week or so. I'm off work for a while on vacation and I just don't think I can stomach it! Like Jessica Tandy said in Driving Miss Daisy "I hope I don't spit up!"

I think I like Sharon better with Adam - I don't like her and Nick together. I don't really like Sharon's character so it doesn't matter who she is with - I just don't want it to be Nick. I think Nick needs to cool himself down as well. He needs to spend some time single and not in a relationship. These people jump from bed to bed back to another bed and back again.

* Billy finds out about CPS, confronts Kevin and Chloe. The misunderstanding is cleared. Chloe thinks Jana called CPS, Kevin confronts Jana but Jana denies it
* Phyllis is against Daisy moving in w/ Daniel, he's doing it for Summer's sake. Daisy and Daniel argue as she refuses to give their daughter up for adoption
* Cane is shocked when he comes face to face w/ Colin, wants him to stay away from his family. Colin thought they were family, wants Cane to come home
* Hogan punches Jeffrey, will collect money each night. Jeffrey is shocked when Hogan says Kevin works for him again and Kevin will be Jeffrey's new boss
* Phyllis tells Billy that her son and Daisy are off limits, her son was a victim. Billy and Phyllis recieve the new cover of RS, with a drawing of Sharon and Adam

Next - Noah tells Sharon that he doesn't want to know her if she continues to associate with Adam; Sharon pushes Phyllis into chocolate!! Sharon is pissed!
