THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

PETER BERGMAN (Jack)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the
highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"Jack rediscovering what he and Phyllis have together. It all works so easily."
SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"I'm still fascinated with the Sharon/Adam relationship. It makes no sense that she would fall for this guy and yet she is turning her back on so much to be with him. Can his character be redeemed? What does she see that we don't? I want to know. I think it's great stuff."

SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"I loved watching Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Josh Morrow (Nick) as their relationship was falling apart. It was so powerful to see them facing the fact that things couldn't be pieced together again. Great performances!"
MUST-SEE TV: What performance or storyline from another show really impressed you this year?
"I've been very impressed with Jonathan Jackson [Lucky, GENERAL HOSPITAL] taking on the Irish storyline. Brave, talented actor taking on a difficult job."

SHARON CASE (Sharon)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"Going to New Orleans and the scenes that took place there."
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"I really like the performances of Michael Muhney (Adam). He's really good in everything he does. I can't think of one particular scene, though!"

ELIZABETH HENDRICKSON (Chloe)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"A highlight for me as an actress is where I thought Chloe had new openings and self-discovery were my breakup scenes with Chance."
SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"It was a really good baby-switch storyline. How many times has everyone done a baby-switch? I knew Eileen [Davidson, Ashley] was a fantastic actress but, I watched those scenes with my jaw to the floor, on how well done they were. I think that's a great example of best redone storyline for the hundredth thousandth time!"
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"I'll stick with Eileen [Davidson, Ashley]. She really did an amazing job in the baby-switch story. Christel [Khalil, Lily] also did a fantastic job with the cancer storyline."

CHRISTEL KHALIL (Lily)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"I really like the stuff that's going on with Cane, and bringing up his past again."
SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"I like Nikki getting drunk. I didn't remember that she was an alcoholic. Plus, it's really nice to see Melody [Thomas Scott] in a front-burner story again. Her character is classic."
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) does an amazing job. Always. I also think that Michael Graziadei (Daniel) doesn't get that much credit. He's so under appreciated. He is so amazing with what he does with his stuff. Every storyline that he has, he always does amazing."

CHRISTIAN JULES LEBLANC (Michael)

SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"I really like the two daughters -- Victoria and Abby -- going up against Victor Newman. It's such a great threesome. One daughter doesn't really trust the other and you've got Eric Roberts [Vance] in the middle."
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"Stacy [Haiduk, ex-Emily/Patty]. Her degree of difficulty was 1000. I got to be in a scene with her [during that storyline] and seeing her go back and forth between the two characters was amazing. I'm a big fan of Stacy's."
MUST-SEE TV: What performance or storyline from another show really impressed you this year?
"I'm really getting into VENICE [the web series helmed by Crystal Chappell (Carly, DAYS OF OUR LIVES).] I met some of the people there and I really love the pioneering aspect of this. It's really fascinating."

KATE LINDER (Esther)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"Elizabeth [Hendrickson, Chloe] and I had some nice scenes after Chance 'died.' I don't know if we'll ever find out that he's alive. But I'm glad Phillip and Nina know."
SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"The Patty/Emily storyline. Stacy [Haiduk] did an incredible job. She played both roles totally differently and was extremely believable. She's wonderful."
MUST-SEE TV: What performance or storyline from another show really impressed you this year?
"Susan Flannery [Stephanie, B&B] is always phenomenal. Once again, she didn't disappoint with the cancer storyline."

SHINING MOMENT: Other than your own, what do you think was your show's best storyline this year?
"I like the interesting pairing with Billy and Victoria this year. That's my crush -- I'm a little Billy fan!"
MUST-SEE TV: What performance or storyline from another show really impressed you this year?
"Kim Matula [Hope, B&B]. I like her style and I like her composure at such a young age and being so new to the industry."

JOSHUA MORROW (Nick)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"Michelle [Stafford] and I had some good stuff when Nick and Phyllis broke up. I just love working with her! That hurt me! Any scene with Michelle can instantly be archived. I think she's brilliant. But there wasn't a lot going on for Nick, but I did get really good at tennis this year. I used my free time very well!"
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"I thought Eileen Davidson was amazing where Ashley had to give up Faith. I mean, good grief, Eileen was heartbreaking. If she doesn't get an Emmy with the work she did on that stuff, there's no creative justice in this world. And Sharon [Case] (Sharon) is always amazing."
MUST-SEE TV: What performance or storyline from another show really impressed you this year?
"How about Cameron Mathison [Ryan, ALL MY CHILDREN], because I think he's a big, giant dork, and I love him. You can put that as a quote!"

MARCY RYLAN (Abby)

PERSONAL BEST: What was the highlight of the year for you, storylinewise?
"The anniversary of Colleen's death, I really loved that episode [yelling at Victor and Jack]. I loved it because when you're a recast, you get to know the character... all those history things, the longer you're here it all clicks and makes sense. But that scene was a great one for me to really solidifying Abby's history and her emotional history with her uncle and her father."
SHOOTING STAR: What performance on your show do you think was a standout this year?
"It's hard because the cast is phenomenal on Y&R. Everyone brings their A-game. Honestly, I'd have to say Amelia [Heinle] and Billy [Miller] with Victoria and Billy's wedding episode. They just stood out to me."

Kurby, congrats!!!!!

Okay do we see them bringing Chance (but probably a different actor) back because Ronan's illness will require a transplant and Chance will be the only donor??

Thanks for sharing!

How could Lily not remember that Nikki was an alcoholic:confused3

The other day I posted a spoiler saying that these two get into a brawl later this week. Here's the pic!

shp.jpg

victor.jpg

In a special stand-alone episode of The Young and the Restless on Dec. 23, Victor (Eric Braeden) will face his darkest demons when he is paid a visit from certain characters from Christmas past. In this exclusive first look, Victor’s late wife Hope (Signy Coleman) gets a little face time with the mustache. Genoa City’s own version of Scrooge also encounters his other late wife Sabrina (Raya Meddine), who has previously appeared in ghostly form on the CBS sudser after she died from injuries sustained during a car crash in 2008.

The episode was narrated by Phyllis, who is writing trash about Sharon in Restless Style about knowing from the start how dangerous she is, how she abandoned her kids

Nick tells Noah that he is keeping Faith to protect her, Noah accuses Nick of doing what Adam did to Sharon by keeping her away from her child.

Phyllis just happens to be in the right place at the right time, overhearing Sharon hiring Leslie to defend Adam. Phyllis reports to Lauren and Nick about what Sharon did

Leslie gets Adam released from jail, Michael sees Sharon at the station and thinks she's being questioned but is shocked that she's here for Adam. He tells her she's on her own

Ashley and Noah lash out at Sharon for defending Adam, both give her hell. Ashley then goes to see Faith, her and Nick talk about Sharon abandoning Faith for Adam

Jack tells Nikki about what Sharon did, Nikki confronts Sharon saying she's waited years to tell Sharon how she really feels about her. She's a tramp who should leave town

Sharon tells Nikki she always thought Phyllis was the biggest hypocritical bully but she's wrong, it is Nikki - the ex stripped turned alcoholic! Nikki looks forward to Nick and Victor turning their backs on Sharon. Victor is shown seeing the news of Adam's release, Sharon's support

Sharon and Adam are at the AC drinking, Sharon says once Adam is proven innocent things will be ok, Adam hopes for Sharon's sake that is the case. Sharon and Adam are kicked out of the AC, they have to get a motel room (It looks to be the same place Deacon lives)

Next - Chloe and Victoria face off over Delia; Kevin tells Phyllis she is in no position to be throwing stones at him (Go Kevin!)

Okay do we see them bringing Chance (but probably a different actor) back because Ronan's illness will require a transplant and Chance will be the only donor??

Don't forget the actress that plays Heather is prego and we know who's the daddy. Yes, I can see Chance coming back for both story lines.

I wonder who is going to end up delivering Daisy's baby probably during a snow storm with no electricity? Maybe Lauren??

or daniel

then he'll change his mind and want to raise it.

OR JACK - he's good to go in a labour and delivery room :)
