June 13th, 2007
I don’t remember what time exactly we awoke; I think it was around 8 am though. I really wanted to get to the park opening early, but I knew that was wishful thinking.
By the time everyone got ready and good to go it was about 8:45 am.
We took a bus over to the Carriage House to get some breakfast at Artist Pallette. And found a completely empty High Rock Springs:

I explained to everyone how the dining plan CS works because we really hadn’t used any at this point and got our food. I got the Flatbread thingy, which I can’t remember the exact name of, but it consisted of scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese mixed in all on top of a flatbread that kinda looked and tasted like a pita. I thought it was deeeelicious. I think the Minions all got some kind of breakfast platter thingy with waffles, eggs, sausage and Mom and Bre got oatmeal, bagels or something with coffee, which they ended up using snack credits on.
After we all finished up we headed on over to the bus stop to catch our bus. Where are we going you ask? Well this is how the buses came:
Epcot (nope, been there done that)
Blizzard Beach (nope)
MGM Studios (nope, not yet)
Epcot (nope)
AK (nope)
Typhoon Lagoon (nope)
MGM Studios again (nope again)
By this time the Minion #2 was getting frustrated, so I told him to try to conjure the bus and wish for it.
Well like a minute later, whaddya know!!!
Magic Kingdom
We got on the bus and were on our way. We were running late, but we were on our way! The place was pretty packed by the time we arrived, then again it was almost 9:30 am already. We took the obligatory pics in front of the entrance:

Then we headed on in to make the trek down Main Street. As soon as we passed the little tunnel though Ivan got pulled away by these 2 wild ladies:
They started walking away with him too, it was hilarious
and he was being a really good sport about it, notice him trying not to laugh?
We kept on keeping on down Main Street just taking everything in. Bre was really excited and Mom and I had a lovely moment when she said to me, “I love this place, this is the best park.”
Awwwwwww!
Yes it is Mom! Yes it is!
Could it be? Could Mom finally be coming over to the Disney side?!!?!!!

When we got in front of the castle where the Walt and Mickey statue were I told the group to wait in front of Adventureland while I get the FP’s for Space Mtn. I recruited Minion #2 (Ivan) again and Minion #1 (Daniel) decided to tag along. So once again Ivan and I did our race to SM while Minion #1 slooooooowly
walked behind us.

We yelled to him to hurry it up, but he just kept on walking with his klunky CD Walkman that he was carrying, even though I told him not to bring it. Remember this!
**Note: Yes it was a CD walkman, not an MP3 player. Just so you can visualize this klunky thing better. ***
I told Ivan to forget about him and we continued our run to SM and obtained FPs for 10 something. Daniel eventually caught up and got his too, (he still had his park ticket on him from having entered the park, but after he got his FP I took it back).

So we then ran on back, pausing to see the little talking trashcan thingy and then meeting up with the others who were waiting for us at the entrance to Adventureland because we had a date with a certain pirate.
Everyone seemed to be flocking in the same direction, but most were going to Aladdin and Fantasyland, but we were heading to POTC. Here’s some mandatory pics I made the Minions pose for:

The wait for POTC was 20 min. and it felt like it, but we were soon in our boat and ready to drink up me hearties! Yo Ho!
Everyone really liked it and we were off. The JC had a long wait already and I made the executive decision to not even bother with FPs, we were off to bigger and better things. Plus Minion #3 kept asking me over and over and over again when we were gonna ride a roller coaster.
So we said Ahoy! to Adventureland and entered Frontierland to conquer our first mountain. Here’s Minion #3 in an obligatory photo (we were waiting for the rest of the group to catch up anyway):
We quickly checked the times for SM and BTMRR and got FPs for SM and headed to the Stand by for BTMRR which said 20 min. Well lemme tell you, it was not 20 min. Here’s an obligatory photo of Ivan as we waited:

Whilst getting in line for BTMRR Ivan, Joey and I got separated from Mom, Daniel and Bre by a few people so I got to play referee between Joey and Ivan who kept on rough housing. Then I remembered
a game my dad would play with my brother and I to keep us entertained and it worked brilliantly with Ivan too (thanks dad!).
Meanwhile on the other side of the line Daniel started getting hit on by a group of girls and they pretty much chatted the entire time in line and they were flirting with him like crazy and he of course was eating it up.
We finally got our ride on and had a great time on BTMRR all together because we were able to get our group back in sync. Daniel was invited by the chicks he met in line to join their group as they toured MK and Bre was going to let him go!
What What What!!!

I had to intervene.
Sorry, as Tour Guide for the day you must remain with your party because we have dining reservations at 1 pm and you
will join us.
Daniel told them the bad news, but he did score their phone numbers and stored them in Mom’s cell phone. Remember this.
By this time it was time for our Space Mtn. FPs. Mom and Bre would not be riding this ride with us so they stayed shopping in the Christmas shops and all those other little shops behind the castle whilst the Minions and I ran all the way back to Tomorrowland.
We passed all the suckers….er people in standby and hooboy was I glad I wasn’t in that line it was about 60 min. already. We eventually boarded our shuttle and were launched into space. It had been awhile since I’d been on Space Mtn. and had missed it in April, and I had forgotten just how jerky this ride is. It was fun though and as soon as we got off Minion #3 asked if we could go again. Sorry buddy, we’re not standing in that ridiculous line and the FPs were already for 2pm. We walked back to where we left Mom and Bre off, I asked the Minions if they wanted to go do Buzz, Stitch or M.I.L.F. since the wait times were really short, but they all vetoed me so we kept on movin’.
I checked the FPs times again for SM, and they weren’t until 12:55pm. D'oh!
This sucks because our ADR was at 1pm. The stand by line was too long of a wait too....oh bother.

) But the fact that they stood in line for two hours to ride RnRC (Great ride, but sooooo not worth two hours wait time....) and wasted a park day is pretty funny. Serves them right for disobeying the adults. I'm glad your mom had a good birthday, and I cheered when you took the cards away from the minions! It sounds like they cause even more trouble as the trip goes on. 
So what if it's 2 days!! I was there for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago & I loved every little minute I was there!! I take it you're going to MNSSHP! Pictures please! Have a Great time!

from my previous installment because I just found my Itinerary from the June trip and see that our ADR was actually for 1:25 pm and our FPs were for 1:10 pm-2:10 pm. And just so nobody thinks I’m making this up to make my TR sound better here’s the proof. ***

, I checked us in and in about 5 minutes we were seated. We got our drink orders and perused the menu. The Minions weren’t that hungry and Minion #3 was being cranky and complaining because he wanted to ride more roller coasters.
