Elaine, let me know what you think of that oatmeal. I have been tempted to try it. I bought some the other day...called cinnamon bun....yummmmmm! Lots of cinnamon!

I didn't really care for it, Jodie. The longer the after taste was in my mouth the more I hated it. It was way too sweet and not enough cinnamon. I don't think that adding more could have cut out the sweet taste though. Not at all what I liked!

Really missed you all but RL has been busy. Allison seemed to start feeling better Friday night and then around noon yesterday she started running a low grade fever, coughing, and runny nose. She is not up yet. I got a haircut yesterday, watched Chris play basketball and then heard about the shuttle. Chris was only a year old when Challenger happened and he just finished a paper on it for physics. He was stunned. We went to a fund raiser last night for athletic boosters and today I am grading my last set of papers. I want to give the kids a grade update by midweek and then leave them on Friday with my best wishes. Then Ya Ya time will be more.

Yep, the Avalance are in Colorado. One point for you for guessing correctly. Hey, the NHL All-Snore Game, er All-Star Game is on. Not a very exciting game, but fun to watch. Apolo in hockey gear. I wonder if he can take or give a solid check? (a hockey check that is, not a bank check ).

I appreciate Malibu Barbie and all, but her personality is just a little stiff. Plus she's *too* quiet. Never talks at all. Never helps the conversation. Granted, going out to eat with her is cheap since, well, she doesn't eat. But to me, that's just unhealthy. Not good at all.

Hey Ya'll!
WELL....I don't care if the stupid groundhog DID say we are in for more winter....my backyard is FULL of robins!!!! Of course they are digging thru snow to get to the worms but, hey, that's just a technicalitly...this Southern girl is declaring it to be SPRING!!!

Okay...I have decorated my part of the stateroom! Bonnie and Betty need to do the rest! My part is cheery blue and yellow! Pictures of big, muscley guys are on the wall...in cowboy garb...getting ready for the dude ranch! Nothin like a few pictures to ...ah...get ya in the mood! On my King size bed there are lots of big fluffy pillows and there is a big window that I can count the stars from at night. My bowflex is in the corner and coffee pot and smoothie blender are on the shelf in the corner. The sound system is top of the line and all of my Disney cds are waiting to be played! Ahhhh......going to listen now.....

Yeah, Marilyn, and I KNOW you enjoyed it when we marched in the parade withOUT our standard issue white undergarments!!! You can't fool me with that crochet talk!! I think we ALL know what you're really doing with that yarn!!! Kimmie likes handcuffs and Marilyn likes yarn! I think my bodystocking is a little tame by comparison!!
BTW, our triple stateroom has been completely redecorated in the same colors as that afghan you've been working on. Walls are a pastel sage green, all the woodwork is a darker shade of green in a very nice semi-gloss, linens are white with a lovely ivy print. And we have pink satin throw pillows everywhere!

Jodie, as much as I love snow, I think I'm ready for spring, too.

A beautiful log cabin in the foothills....warm sunny days...cool nights by the fire...long walks on beautiful trails....smoothies, slushies and umbrella drinks.....talking and laughing day and night.....ahhhhh.....only 5 months away!!!

I plan to hike while I am there! I love hiking. I still don't know how long I will be there for (just the day or over night) but I can't wait to meet a few of you and see a few of you again

Oh I had to share the good news... guess what I bought today?!?! I am on a laptop! Circuit City had a good deal on the laptop and had 12 months same as cash That did it in for me. I got pretty much all I wanted (will upgrade the memory later) so over the next few days I will be converting to my new faster & better machine! Now I can DIS while I travel
