That is THE in colour here - when Roland and I were bored at an airport in London we passed the time spotting German women by their hair colour - we'd have got you wrong!

BTW, I know you'll all love this. I watched a bit of speedskating tonight. Well, technically they weren't super-fast, but it was the "speed skating" event of the NHL All Star Skills Competition. One lap around the rink wearing your gear and carrying the stick. I think Apolo could teach these guys a lesson on technique tho. Hmmm.. I wonder how Apolo would do skating in full hockey gear while carrying a stick??? Hockey skates too, not those fancy speed skates he's used to. He'd probably still blow them all away.

Thanks so much Marilyn and Carol! You're both too kind. Carol, it's a perm....my hair is as straight as a board otherwise. There's a lot of it, which is nice, but normally very straight. I'm in the process of letting ther perm grow out right now.

You'd have gotten me wrong Carol? Would you have labeled me German by the hair color? Unfortunately, because of the perm, the color is wanting to fall right out. It was colored just two days ago, and I've already lost a ton of the color although it's supposed to be permanant.

Nancy! You breezed in and out of here so fast I didn't get a chance to say hey earlier. How ya doing?! How's that new furniture doing?

Oh good Kim, you're still there! Nice to hear that other people have puter problems, not just me!

How often do you have it permed? And how do you condition it? My hair is so dry, I'm always looking for new ideas. I'm allergic to lots of stuff too, doesn't make it any easier.
It's ages since I talked hair with anyone - I feel like a real girlie!

Loving the furniture. It so cozy. Firm yet soft. Material is like a velour. It's big stuff so it envelopes a person when they sit on it. And so far........the cats have left it alone

Carol, My hair person recommended a protein treatment product as the most intensive conditioner. I'll be doing one every couple of weeks in an attempt to get my permed hair in better condition so that it'll keep the color better. She did one at the salon, and the difference was amazing! I've had my hair permed twice in a year... too much. The first time just didn't take though. I think I'm going to have to give up on the perms for awhile and let my hair recover. Time to go back to my board straight hair I suppose.
