I think, ya'll, that every Girl Scout Council sets their own price for cookies....that's where the difference comes in. Ours went from 3.00/box last year to 3.50/box this year!!! They told us to tell the girls not to walk up to a house and ask if they wanted to buy GS cookies....walk up and ask "Would you like to support GS by buying some GS cookies?" I looked through the badge book many times but could never find a badge called "learning slick sales pitches....how to put a spin on your product".

Boy Scouts actually has the Salesmanship Badge! And DS now types up a letter telling about his recent achievements in Scouting and how the support of the neighbors, etc. buying the popcorn enables him to go to camp, Jamborees, etc. He also types up a thank-you letter and attaches it to every order. Now he gets phone calls in the fall from people asking him when the sale will start!

I have your cell and hopefully you still have my number so we can always call and meet up whenever. I'd love to just hang and relax. As I said to Dan, I want this trip to be more relaxing than the last

I am still not sure if I can talk DH into a WDW trip for me in December. I would love to be there, but I am afraid that with his job situation and having a freshman in college that I may have to wait and see. DH's contract with Florida ends the end of June and we need to see what comes up after that.

Sounds like Dec is shaping up nicely, there is NO way Dec would work for me. I work IT support for a retail company, and there are NO vacations from Thanksgiving til after New Year's. That's OK, I get to take 11 days in Jan to go to WDW

Yes, Elaine, I still have your cell #. I, too, would like it to be more relaxed than last Dec. Dave wants to play commando, so I have encouraged him to go a few days ahead of me when we go in Sept. Maybe he can get it out of his system without running me into the ground! Would love to meet up with you and Jodie and Kim (?!?!?!!!!!!) and anybody else who can make it. Even if it's just to grab a bit of lunch or take a little break. I'm still planning to do Boardwalk on Sat. night with Carol and Roland. Dave may choose to do MK so he can see his favorite parade. I think we're old enuff to be allowed to go off on our own at times, now.
