Todd, we get Oberweis delivered. Great milk, great ice cream. We get their milk because they do not feed the cows with hormones. (Heaven knows I do NOT need more hormones! )

Hormones. The state of our food is a little scary...just read an article about Atlantic salmon(farm-raised)...iiicck...among other things, the orange coloring is artificially induced....uuugh.

Actually, I have Healty Choice in the fridge too. Coffee ripple or something like that. Very yummy. But I like the Healty cow ice cream sandwiches too. I tried Weight Watchers ones this weekend and didn't like them as much.

When he agreed I could to the World in July and December the only thing he said was that "people were going to start to talk" if I didn't stop flying off to be with ya'll!!!! HEE HEE HEE....and the problem here is????

Actually, one of DIL's clients is a doctor. She went down to a convention last year regarding hormones and other stuff induced into animals. They were told Oberweis was the only readily available milk on the market without hormones, and they have proven hormones given to cows causes breast cancer. She told DIL not to drink anything milk but Oberweis, and only give that kind to DGD, and to tell me to drink it too. Funny thing was, I was already buying Oberweis. I love their milk.

But I just read with interest about the cow hormones and breast cancer...did not know that...I'll have to see if we get Oberweiss at the local organic market...I can't imagine it's still the only hormone free milk available but maybe...thanks for the info.

Jeannie, there are probably others, I'm sure. It's just that Oberweis also sells their milk in some of the big chains besides their own stores. Ohhhhhh, their hot fudge! BWWAAHHHAAA! There is a jar of it in my fridge and I can't touch it! BWWWWAAAAAA (picture here Marilyn laying on the floor throwing a major strop!)
