Morning all

getting ready for dr trip to San Diego. Leave as soon as DH is ready. My apt is 8am monday( I hate mornings) Hotel is across the street. Also have a mall across from hotel, suppose to be a big one will have to check it out

now if someone wants to come clean my house while I am gone I wouldn't mind one bit

DH is a UPS driver (and yes Pam I do remember they are not your favorite

Now I feel bad, Deena!! Actually I LOVE my UPS drivers - and the supervisor I call to schedule a pickup! It's just the blasted WorldShip software I hate - well that and the customer service reps who have no personality.....

Kristy has me salivating and smacking my lips....

Tina - safe travels and I hope the doctor visit goes well.....

I survived the family gathering! sheesh. Is it just me or does it not "feel" like Christmas the older you get?? Bratty teenagers don't appreciate anything they get...even money. They jet out as soon as they've opened their gifts.....just disrespectful all together.
Also survived my parents. Don't think I ever told y'all...my mother had a mental breakdown last December. It's still not better. Psychiatrist just keeps playing with the meds and nothing seems to work. She's so UNHAPPY. Never smiles, never relaxes....I feel like I need a valium every time we go over there. I know my dad has a rough time since he lives there....but I can't stand it when he whines

Pam....I sent the pineapple casserole to you via the transporter....both the aliens didn't snatch it first

LOL Pam I wasnt trying to make you feel bad. UPS apparently likes to mess everyone over, the customers and the employees. Took dh woking there 7 years to become a "full time" employee. Meaning they worked him 40+ hours a week and paid him part time wages and benefits. Finally he is real full time.

No ring news yet. He said he doesn't get to pick it up until tomorrow.....and then they leave for her parents' house, so he will have to fit something in pretty fast.

Kristy.....sounds like a lot to put up with.

I need to tell everyone that we did a exchange today with SIL & family and SIL gave Amanda something similar to what I got her a electric tart burner.. ..so NEXT year we exchange after christmas.. ..I let Amanda open hers up and she said she is taking hers to work(from me) to sit on her desk... and she let me open a gift too...and I got a new coat... ..It's really nice but I am gonna see if I can get a larger size.....Now she wants me to give away my nasty old leather jacket.. ..Okay..I negotiated one more year out of it...

Hope all my buds are healthy !!!

With all the 'things' going around you gotta drink lots of vitamin c and wash your hands constantly....

Evening all... a little groggy from some allergy meds... I hate malls with tons of perfume sometimes!!!

Oh I forgot to tell y'all, when I went into Abercrombie & Fitch to find a sweater, there were three farily buff men w/o their shirts on... and you could get a pic with them for charity :rolling:

Nancy, I am happy to be all done finally! Well I have the kitties but I usually don't do them until about the day before... finding gifts for them are easy Do tell us about the ring when you can!! Yeah, I'm nosey

Oh that stinks Todd!! But do tell us how you like the tart burner... I might like to try one out some day. And doing my best to stay healthy! Washing hands is second nature to me now!

Todd, sometimes I send return cards... I am so far behind this year, that I might not do that. I do feel bad but some people I didn't have addresses for, so I couldn't send out a card. I'll do it next year.

And too funny... not sure if others would like a Shire, but that's sure a possibility for next time. Currently the 2nd runner up is the Spa.
