Nancy, use the coding I have for your little seal. The pup was 23K alone and you can only have 35K total (and 400x400 total). Now the pup is only 17K and with your 16K one you now are at 33K. All is good if you use those I can host your pup for as long as you need it

Still not feeling too hot. My SIL's parents are having a Christmas get-together tonight but I opted out. DH & the boys left awhile ago. Just didn't feel up to getting dressed and leaving the house. I'd rather stay home. I need a nap soo bad...hopefully I can take one now that the house is nice and quiet.

Still feeling icky!! I think I am going to chuck Atkins until AFTER my surgery. I think part of my being sick may come from not getting enough vitamins. Atkins is not real fruit and veggie friendly. So I have a week and a half to kick this. I stayed home all day today and think that is going to be the plan for the next few days!!! Sherry...hope you get your nap, if not, I took several for you today. Hope you are feeling better soon. Nancy, sounds like DH better get working on another jewelry boxif there is a ring without a home.... Off to have some good old comfort food....grilled cheese and tomato soup.....mmmm...mmmm...good.

Sherry & Liz, I hope you both feel better soon!! I have heard some people not being able to handle Atkins very well at all so maybe that's it for you. Not all diets are created equally.

Before I go on, I got blood results from last month and considering I didn't fast like I was supposed to (oops) I did great! One number was a little high (not above what they consider bad) but it was also one of the ones most sensitive to recent food intake (which was a Zebra cake )

Glad the cards are making it to where they need to be

I posted this question on the cb but I didnt get many answers from people with large families. So any of you who grew up in a "big" family or currently have one did your brothers and sisters or kids exchange gifts with each other??
Michael and Matthew have given each other stuff in the past. It;s very easy with 2 but with 4 its seems like a lot of extra presents for us to buy. 12 extra if each gives every brother or I thought maybe just for the 4 of them they could draw names. Its pretty easy to find fairly inexpensive gifts for the 2 little ones but as the boys get older their taste gets more expensive, lol.
Plus the 2 oldest give us something also.
Oh well just wondering what others do.

I don't know what the ring looks like. Hopefully he will take a picture when he gets it (Sunday), but that might not be until after they come back.
I know it is white gold, sapphire and diamond (I'm so jealous...I LOVE sapphires!).

A wedding? Long time.....or soon I think that will be decided after her financial aide comes through. If she gets lots without being married, it will be years! If it doesn't make much difference, then it will be sooner.

Kimmar - why the new user name? And what kind of dog are you getting for DS? We got our DS a beagle puppy last week. We were going to surpise him on Christmas morning, but then decided to let him pick the puppy out. It's name is Gunny and he totally rules the house - except he's been a bad boy all day and is now having a timeout in his kennel in the garage........

Tara - sounds like you are having fun at school. Make sure you get plenty of rest time for you and Matilda!

Elaine - DD and her BF took DS with them to see LOTR tonight.

Deena - my two kids do exchange gifts with each other - and they also buy gifts for DH and I. They've done this for years, they also do it for birthdays. They always save their allowances, and now their work wages and then go shopping. Sometimes they pool their money together and buy a nicer present for DH and me. In your situation, I think the name drawing idea is excellent.

Deena, I must have missed your thread. Unfortunately knowing the ages of your kids, my answer won't be of much help. We only started buying each other gifts when we could afford them ourselves.... if that makes sense. So nope, didn't have the parents buy them for us. I think about high school was when we started it Name drawing sounds good!

White gold, sapphire & diamond??? Sounds great!!! Actually that is what my current ring is... white gold, sapphire with diamonds Matching diamond band to go with And it stinks that financial aid would make that much difference married or not... I hope it doesn't so they don't have to hold out. But as long as they are both happy, it shouldn't matter to them

How about we try for tomorrow afternoon for a move... I would rather be ready for it than it sneak up on me. Sound good? I just don't think I could make it tonight.

I told Nancy in e-mail (thanks for e-mailingme Nancy and Pam...yes, still alive!)...that being the low man on the roster at work, I jump from project to project as deadlines loom...so while others wrap up a deadline and relax, I just get shuffled to a different project and a new deadline...no time to breathe!!!

Anyone not in the Christmas spirit yet? Maybe Pam'll do a little Christmas jig for ya. I'm going to go read her ketchup...thanks for doing the ketchup Pammy!
