I have been pretty good at warding off the fever until today!!!! YUCK!! I thought a little retail therapy might make me feel better....NOT!!!! Then we had to go to Greg's brothers at 5 as Santa was coming. Watched to kids with Santa (too cute,) they opened presents and we exchanged our gifts after Santa left. The new Kate Spade bag did put a smile on my face....now it is time to put my face on a pillow and think happy thoughts....or KK's and missed parties...that is SO something I would do!!!! Hope all is well with the world.

I finally made it back!

Sounds like a lot of you are going to see ROTK on Sat. I can't wait to go again.....but might wait a bit for the crowd to die down.

We stopped by Cartier and Tiffany ahhh.....that was fun!
But no buying was done.....need to save my pennies for a few more years

I'm next up for a wood project ......well, after the new saw gets put together, but DH is off for a week and a half so, I should see it at least get started.

I'm beat! Shopping downtown is HARD work! I think it was all the crazy drivers going to and fro that made me so tired.

Cold morning here. Brrrr! Last day of school for the boys for 2 weeks. I don't babysit next week either, so I can finally sleep in! WOO HOO!! And no more making lunches for 2 weeks!! YAY! (It doesn't take much to make me happy! LOL)

I feel like I'm coming down with something. Stuffy nose, sore throat, didn't sleep well last night, and I have a tummy ache.

and I have been up for quite sometime. It is very pretty out this morning as the snow is really falling. My wish for a White Christmas may come true. Still feeling like crap....but hope to have this all behind me in the very near future. I think I may have gotten the "riddlers" mad today as I got the Marching Mickey!! I can't help that they had a Christmas Carol riddle and I happen to love them and know quite a few of them and could not sleep!! Oh well!!! I have discovered that there are quite a few "obsessed" people here with Pirates and LOTR. I have yet to see Pirates and may have to rent it today to see what all of the fuss is about. OK, I am babbling now. Hope everybody has a great day!! I will check back later after my nap!!!!

My oldest saw ROTK last night. I didnt mid except he went to the 7pm movie and the dang movie is 3.5 hours long. I was tired at 9 and could have gone to bed by then or 930 but since I had to pick him and his friend up at 10:30 I didnt get to bed til 11 .
Sherry--I get to sleep in next week too!! Well I better, if Connor decides to wake up early Im going to pull my hair out. Hopefully your just tired--sending you some pd so your not getting sick.
Liz--Elaine hangs out with those riddlers. LOL they may send her over to snatch you Mickey And Im with you on the I havent seen it yet either.

Liz, be sure to take care of yourself. If you are running a higher fever (over 100 or so) make sure you keep hydrated. There are some nasty non-flu viruses that are going around too... so whatever you have take it easy and rest!

Nancy, I would love to skip out on work to catch LOTR today, but I think Luis would kill me if I did that So I suppose I will wait until Saturday What wood project do you get next?

Todd... it is time for Amanda to get a new coat I think... I had one leather coat for 7 years when I finally got around to replacing it. So if it is anywhere near that old, it is time...

Took a personal day today...gotta decorate my 2nd tree (the one in the family room). Looks like my DH is gonna be making the 4 1/2 hour trek up to New Hampshire to pick up the puppy for my DS for XMas! (he's going EARLY [5AM] in the morning on Dec 24 to be back before 5PM mass - my youngest DS is singing in the choir)!

Nope Kimmar, didn't see it... I was at my sister's last night for her birthday. I did hear about POTC2 though a long time ago... from what I heard a script has barely been started and it would be due out probably around 2005. Hadn't heard anything about a father for Capt. Jack... figured he'd be dead given the ages of everyone

I'm a slacker here at work! The kids are working on fun English Christmas activities and all I can think about is eating lunch in a little while!!

My project. DVD holders. big ones that match the entertainment center. Been waiting over 2 years. Wood's all here, plans all drawn, just gotta get him working on it.

Of course, we knew there was going to be a second POTC

Todd, haven't played in a while... Luis has been doing the XBox thing... I might try to bring the GC up here so I can play. I did some of the 150 levels and came in 3rd over all on the 1st set of races.

There is a 4th level that you can get if you come in 1st place in everything..50cc 100c...etc...
I have yet to beat this 4th level on 150cc and I read that you can get the cool car(the one they parade you around in if you win) and I think there is another series of tracks...
Came in 1st on the 1st 2 tracks then fell apart on the last 2 to come in 3rd place...
Mandy has been helping me but I choke on that 3rd race....grrr...
