Eeek! 5:00 a.m. I thought I was an early riser. Nap time for you for certain! You won’t enjoy putting up your tree if you are too tired. Save it til after your nap.

I was up early this a.m., to bring in the paper and let out the dogs. I usually get the neighbor’s as well since I’m out. Usually walk with my pups in the yard. My guy sat by the door and waited for me to let him back in. My little gal wouldn’t go back out with me when I went to get the paper. She’s more hairless and is cold quickly. Sat by the heat register til I came back in. I was thinking about those at WDW hoping they are having a great time. From posts around the DIS seems as if a good time is being had by all. How sad, they are missing the snow here.

Snow was so beautiful with the sun sparkling on it. I took pics. Don’t think they will be as pretty to look at as the real thing though.

Working on gettin "in the mood." Have Christmas songs on and my Mom and I are making the pierogis for our Christmas Eve dinner. Will check back later.

RoseM-glad your son is on his meds and hope he is more his usual self by the time you get home. SIL is coming to see us from FL in 1 ½ weeks. She told us it was pleasant right now where she lives.

Sounds like there will be an active weekend going on. Good luck with your decorating and parties. Shep…sounds as if you need small portable hand held TV so you can “sneak” a peak now and then. (Though not at church—you be good there.)

LOL Shep....wanting the game to be on.....at least you GO to the birthday parties. My dad never went to them. He was too busy working on yard stuff or would come up with some reason.

AHHHHH!!!! house clean...parents have come and gone.....thank goodness!

My poor ankles are screaming at me. Was on them all day. I'll be crashing in bed soon.

Nancy...yay the tree is up! Rose Mary I hope your son gets to feeling better. I feel for him! Had my tonsil out when I was 23..not fun at all. Sherry...hope you got that nap you were wanting! Tina...LOL at the wine and fingers not typing right. Lily.. hope your pierogis turned out better than my fudge did. Bunch of mushy chocolate and sugar CS...congrats on the win!

Yeah Todd, I bet with Pam on the “other thing.”

I’ve been doin wash in between everything else this weekend. Up early again this morning, cleaned bathroom took shower. Then, after morning obligation did second batch of pierogis with Mom…she did more than me this time cuz I was back and forth between computer prob, wash, and all. (Pierogis always come out great, cuz Mom is the expert here.) I am honored to be allowed in her domain when she does things. She lets my 2 DSs work with her more than she lets me. I am domestically challenged.

DH and I took ride to downtown post office, rode through our Public Square came back around found a local live tree dealer, bought the live tree…(the Charlie Brown one that “nobody wants, that we paid $15 for any way). This is the tree we tie to the flag pole and put lights on for our outside decoration. DH is taking the twine off the tree and DS is going to lace it to the pole (I hope cuz I know DH won’t do it. He’s a “good boy” and won’t do anything stupid to cause himself further injury.)

Dinner is in the oven, more clothes in wash cycles, time to clean some more.

Pam, I guess I could come over and clean if you need. I guess I’m on a roll. You do get the part that I am domestically challenged however.

Nancy, I wonder how you like Bad Santa. I thought of seeing it but not sure.
Kristy, I figure read a little then study a little. I like that method.
