Forgot to answer your question. I have been very busy with the end of the year subbing and I also administered the Advanced Placement tests at the high school. Did 8 days straight of that and have one more day of makeup testing this week scheduled.

So how are the wedding plans going?

SOunds hectic...reminds me of that song "No more pencils, no more books...No more teachers dirty looks..."

Wedding plans...eh...ok...I long ago threw out those checklists the wedding etiquette experts have of what you should have at what point in time: at one year out and then at 9 months outand then at 6 months, etc....oh please. I'm a girl not a machine! But the most important things (like the groom!) are in place and I'm not too worried about the rest.

Where the heck are the rest of the ladies...you'll have to forgive 'em they've been cheetoing left and right all week...they've got to be pooped ...(you know..at THEIR ages.)

Jeannie, it is Saturday night and that is when the true Ya Yas are ready to start partying.

Those lists are always a little too nutsy if you ask me. I planned my wedding in less than 5 months and it all turned out fine. And I have been married almost 24 years. I just know that whatever you do it will be great.

Busy..though. Life seems to be that way.

It was cold and drizzley here also.

They are saying that we should be hearing and seeing the 17 year Cicada's tomorrow. We have had some really nice warm weather and we were just waiting for a good rain. So since it rained all day today off and on we should start hearing their noise soon. I didn't live here 17 years ago and I was 13 when they were here before that. I don't remember much about them but I hear it is quite an experience.

DS is still at school. They are on quarter systems and he won't be home until July 11. He ended up being the only one in his dorm room this quarter. He is really lonely. He started out with 3 room mates and ended up with no one.

I am looking forward to him coming home but know that the adjustment will be fun..........know he will be on college time and we won't. Any suggestions for the adjustment period.

Well it is 4:20 and I am wide awake!!!!! Can't sleep!! My tummy does not like the pain meds....and my mind doesn't seem to care for it much either!! Seems to give me the heebie jeebies!!! So, I think that is gonna have to change!!! My mom is definately drivng me crazy.....this must be a sign of getting better!!!! Right?

Greg got his new company car last night!! He spent a good part of the evening bonding with it!!!! He is like a kid in a candy store. I guess I would be to if I got a new BMW!!!! Went for a very short ride and called it a night! Greg's boss also sent home a box for me! She got me a linen outfit to recover in. It is very nice. His boss tends to be very generous to both of us. I think today Greg is ging to have to go for a long ride!! Wush I could join him!!

I guess I am going to do some crosswords.....or maybe color and enjoy my pretty and hope today gets better! I think one I get my pain meds switched, I may have a better outlook!!!!
