Tara, you reminded me of something... why is it that a lot of the old lady "large" clothes are REALLY LOUD looking? I mean shouldn't we find ways to empahsize our assets and not our... well... I just don't understand why these huge flowery & loud dresses are found in the plus size sections. Just like I don't understand why girls who try to squeeze in to jeans that are three sizes too small, bare their stomachs and have their loose skin hang all over.

Yippee!! I'm home for the weekend with nothing planned outside of laundry, groceries and church!! I think I may have some scrapbooking in my future!

Just got a call from Liz--she is waiting for her ride so she can go home!! Hospital didn't have a room ready for her and she's been sitting around for hours waiting for one. Finally told her doc she'd be more comfortable sitting around waiting at home!! He extracted a few promises from her on taking care of herself and what she's allowed to do vs. what she is NOT allowed to do and now is sending her home. The nerve block is still on her ankle, so she is feeling no pain at the moment and should be able to get some decent rest until the block wears off. After not getting to bed till the wee hours of the morning and then having to get up so early to get to the hospital, she needs a nap or three!!!

Sherry, have a great time at the school! If you skip the whipped cream, you can have another scoop!! Make mine chocolate, please!

Yay!!! Kristy sneated in!!! Hope you can find time to play this weekend.

Well, I'm off to make up a batch of sketti sauce while it's still cool in the house. Laters!!!!!!

Can you believe it? I totally forgot to write about the pacakge

Thank you Bethie!!! She and Pooh went all out. I admit I feel awful right now as I am sure I am going to forget something. I'm just tired, small cold and um "other things" so forgive me Beth if I forget something (or a lot). I got some excellent Pooh things!!! A mug, cell phone cover, towel, visor, and I swore something else. THen I got some summer fun stuff like cups and utencils!!! A silly Palm tree magnet that bobbles (love it!!!!) some sunglasses for my two kids (Lito and Larissa) and a box of lemon bars mix... I know I am forgetting things, but it was honestly wonderful and way above what I expected!! Thanks again Beth!!!

Vodka coming your way too Sherry! And you'll be glad to know that I even deleted something I had said about Frasier when I saw you didn't get to see it yet.

grrr....I decided to take my exchange to pack n'post instead of going to the post office and having to stand in the long line. The guy told me that it would be $17!!!! that was with no insurance or anything. I asked if that is what it would be at the post office and he said no, so I took my package back and my goal is to get to the post office when it opens tomorrow morning to send it off! (that is if I get off the computer and pack for this weekend!)

elaine...I don't know why they put such loud prints on the larger size clothes and why people try to squeeze into a 3 when they really need a 10!! And you are right in a few weeks I won't be wearing the large clothes, tho I do have to say most of my maternity is very sedate. This hawaiian Mickey is the loudest piece in my entire wardrobe pre/post pregnancy!! But I have to say it was a comfy shirt.

I probably won't be back until sunday night, so you all have a wonderful weekend. don't panic if you don't hear from me on Sunday, I'm determined to go to Charlottesville with one child and return with only one child

Yep Gaspode has disappeared on us. she was having computer problems but came back and then was gone again.
Oh well...we survived before the index, guess we will again.

Greg, Barkley and my mom are taking pretty good care of me, so all is well there! The nerve block is still working.....so all is well there! That should wear off sometime today!!! Then it is reaally gonna hurt!!! So, let the napping begin....of couse they will be percocet induced!!!!!!!

You know I just figured out why we keep dropping to page 2... I swear the CB is busier than it used to be!!! I usually came home and would have to go back to page three or sometimes four to catch up on the day. Over night on a weekend I'd miss maybe a page or so. Now I am going back to page 5 dailly and I had to go back to page three this morning... truly unbelievable!!!

Oh the things I forgot that Beth gave me.... this adorable stuffed sundae with Pooh all dressed up and ready to eat it. I also got some slushie mix and some bubbles in the shape of an ice cream cone. Now I think I got it all

Rose Mary, gas is $2.05 around here. We got gas at Sam's yesterday for $1.88.

Had fun at the Ice Cream Social. They had carnival games for the first time this year, so we went around to all those. Got tons of little "prizes" that of course will be all over the house.
