Possible weekend trip to Williamsburg VA..my buddy has 4 free passes to Bush Gardens and for 2 people to golf..possible couples weekend...

I'll babysit if ya have to bring the munchkins along!! And I'm sure Tara wouldn't mind if we went to visit her!!

 Shep, missed ya'! What is it with locusts and cicadas? Are they the same thing? Are they attack bugs? We go thru "lovebug" season here in Fl. Don't even ask  . They are just a pain, get your car all yucky and stuff. But, they don't bite or anything, thank goodness.

LOL, Tara re: capri pants! I really like the Lee casuals as they fit me best but, I'm just tired of the same old colors. Can't they come out with some nice springy colors or somethng?

Ok, lunch is over and I must get back to work so I have to claim EOIP for now.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Beth--kid free---hopefully..We would probaly just be there saturday & sunday...thanks for the offer though:D

Hi Rosemary..:wave2: ..cicadas are NOTHING compared to the love bugs..them nasty love bugs practically ruined our trip to Panama City.. ...Locusts & Cicadas are the same thing..they come out of hibernation every 17 years(live underground) and they don't really hurt anything except trees..they don't bite or sting..they might tickle though, but they can get in your hair, Amanda will no be going outside much while they're around..

Hey Tara, hope the doc visit goes well then. Good luck with the baby sitter thing too. Can you take Jar if needed? (I know you could use a break so hope you can find grandma to do it though)

Yea! Todd gets a trip and has babysitters too! What's with the lurking? Go bike riding, get Amanda a safari hat with flaps to keep the bugs out. I love to go bike riding.

John, I'll be there! Glad you are progressing and hope you will be doing better than you think for CP.

RM, "love bugs"--DH want to move to FL and I don't think I can handle all that year-round "wildlife" over there. I do fine with what we have here. The cold kills many of them off so I don't get overwhelmed.

You know... I keep peeking in here to read but don't find the time to say hi so I am finally doing it!!!

Pam, while you are packing your bags, can you get to mine for tomorrow please? Thanks :)

Yay for the new office building, Rose Mary!!! I hope it is much better than where you are!

Bethie, you crack me up... We'll have to see where my points get me this year... I have some funky math I have to play. But yep, we can have a sleepover... I say on YOUR points we get a GV and invite them all ::yes::

Jeannie, you can come with the cabana boys any time you like ;)

Wow, a girl who didn't want a pony... at least clothes are a good alternative :p

Hi Liz!!!

Lily, good luck to you at the marathon in Jan!! I am usre you will do great!!!

Tara, for me DVC isn't too hard to understand. I know it baffles many, but I just joke and say since I understand how they work, I was destined to buy in! Good luck finding a sitter for this weekend!

John, glad to see that you are doing well with the ankle... good luck getting those 9 weeks of promises done on your desktop!

Um yummy thoughts there Todd ;) Just remind Amanda that we can be "inside" too :teeth: I hope you get to go on that trip too!

Well I have a meeting I need to go to in a few minutes... see you all later :wave2:

Hi all:wave2:

Lily love that year round 'wildlife' never thought of it that way. Have to share that with my Dad :D

Elaine Congrats on the DVC:Pinkbounc

Rosemary getting a new office building :D

Hi liz you need to come back and stay longer:wave2:

Shep good to see you.

Fires are out here and we are on a cooling trend, only 99 today.;)

LOL!! Today's high of 79º just hit 82º!!

Laine, I don't have that many more DVC points than you--I say we BOTH chip in for the GV for the Ya Ya sleepover!

Jeannie, bring on the cabana boys!!!!!

Lily, Mid-January is OK by me, too! Be happy to cheer you on!!!

 Tina!!! Glad to hear those fires are out (for now  ) and you're getting cooler temps! Wanna borrow a sweater??!!

But Bethie, 40 is a lot of points... that's half a week's stay at OKW ;)

Of course if we pulled all of our points for a year I think we could manage a GV

Tina, glad the fires are out and that it is cooling off... I guess I am glad to be in Ohio right now :)

She would rather have clothes!!

Ooohhhh, Nancy, she would get along like a wildfire with me DD!!:D And jewelry, too!!

Shep - I think ya meant to say that you are cheering on Boston Rob..... (see Survivor post a few pages back and you will agree with me on this one.....) Hope you get your Couples Weekend!!

Elaine - I thought it was Nudist Week - hence you don't need to pack any clothes....:p

DH's birthday is today - we're heading out shortly to Red Lobster - I cringe at the thoughts of the tab - 2 adults and 3 teens!  Then we're going up to my parents' for Baskin Robbins cake!!

ATTENTION - ATTENTION!! My exchange box went out today via UPS - so some lucky person should be on the lookout for delivery (hopefully) either Friday or Monday. I used the shipping from the office - and never thought that it imprinted my company's name, not mine on the return label....

Rose Mary GV= Grand Villa... they are 3 bedroom 2200 sq ft places at some of the DVC resorts. The pics of the OKW GV blow me away!

Pam :o I am not sure others will appreciate seeing me nekkid ;)

Yay another package sent out!!!!

back from the dr. I've gained 5.5 pounds in 3 weeks  Me thinks this is a moose!!! I talked to the dr. more about the csection and he was much calmer and nicer than last time. he said his practice is getting ready to ban vbacs. He said that 2 women have recently had ruptures and the babies died. I definitely don't want that. So we compromised. We will plan a csection for the week I'm due, b/c my thinking if i keep gaining weight and this baby feels as big as it could be I ain't do the natural thing with 12 pounder!! The dr. agreed and if he comes earlier then that is okay too. My mom pointed out that if I schedule it for around 2 weeks before I'm due that would give me almost 8 weeks home wih him before I go back to school. As it stands now I wil have just barely 6 weeks home (my doc doesn't give you 2 weeks for a csection!!). So I may talk to him about that too, but I'm just going to play it by ear for the next two weeks and see how I feel. I got more of a feeling of concern for the baby than I did for his bottom line. He promised me he would be around the week of July 4th and that he would not be taking any vacations!! HE better be there!!

Jarrod's other grandma thinks she can keep Jar on that day. She understands why we want to make this really special for mom. As for taking him with me, he is very up and down when it comes to behavior in public and unfortunately even though it may be typical 4 year old behavior I get upset if he doesn't act like I expect. Which is that of a grown person!! So my stress feeds onto him and then he acts up just to watch mom cringe. I've been told that I need to chill out when it comes to his behavior but then i see kids that really make me wonder and so i don't want anyone to think that about him. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean people aren't talking about me!!!

Gotta run and find some dinner. So I'm doing a EIOP or is IEOP or is it LAZY.

Going to the beach this weekend to check out summer stuff for my exchange!! hehehe

hugs,
tara

At DVC a 2 bedroom sleeps 8. The OKW 2 bedrooms are huge!!! You may get more bang for the points that way. A Grand Villa sleeps 12. Another studio or 1 bewdroo with a 2 bedroom might work also if needed.

Tara I understand you want to vbac but if the dr will take the baby sooner and you get 2 extra weeks with him I would do that. Once he pops out time is just going to fly by.

Congrats Elaine!! and Welcome Home neighbor. We really love OKW. We are staying at BWV this trip just to be closer to MGM and Epcot and Im sure BWV is very nice but I do worry I wont like it as much as OKW. My boys were floored when we stayed in the 2 bdrm.

Tara being that I have no experience with any type of child birth situation, I will just wish you all the best and I hope that all goes well. I admit though, I "take mental notes" when you talk so that I have some sort of knowledge when/if I go through it. I am so glad though that you and your mom will have your special time together on Sunday :)

Hmmm Bethie, what do you say... 2 2 bedrooms? If you could loan me 8 points, I could get one week at OKW and you could get one on yours as well... that would be a TON of space there between the two :teeth: (thanks for that great idea Dave ;))

Thanks Deena... actually a lot of thought went into what resort I loved/thought I would love when picking. The Epcot location is great but sadly I find myself going to Epcot by default more. Not that it is bad, but I always feel I miss out on MK by the end of the trip. I hope to stay at them all some day. But OKW won me because of how quiet and peaceful it is there. The lower points help too ;) but really the theming is 'perfect' for me. I am so glad that I went last year with Beth or I wouldn't have ever dreamed of buying at OKW (before we wanted BCV)

Whooo-hoooo, let the vacation begin!!!!! Got the oil changed in my car (only 1400 miles late :o ), got my hair cut for the hotter weather, and am now just waiting for time for dinner. Nothing in the house looks very appealing and Dave said Red Robin. Who am I to argue when I'm on vaca??!! :teeth:

Ya know, Elaine, that would be a darn good idea for a Ya Ya sleepover--a pair of 2 bedrooms at OKW for a long weekend off-peak.......

Tara, I know just what you mean about being so self-conscious about Jarrod's behaviour in public. At 6 months, my DS was grabbing the waitress's bottoms!!! They were level with his little hands as he sat in the high chair! (And you all wonder why Dizzy is a wild woman??!!! It's in the genes!) Anyhooo, I'm glad you had another talk with your doc and are feeling more at ease with "the plan". It will all work out for the best, I'm sure.

Oh dear, Pam's exchange hit the mail.......watch the papers, folks, all that mewling and scrabbling and bouncing around the box is going to be doing, I'm sure it's gonna make the news! Have some lobster for me, Pam! We're gonna do RR and it's all Sherry's fault! She started talking about it yesterday and now that's all Dave can think about!

Deena, it doesn't matter if it's BWV, BCV, or VWL--EVERYTHING is smaller than OKW. But it's not that bad--you'll manage, I'm sure! After all, you're there to enjoy the parks more than the room, right?!

Hey Beth, you get one night I'll get the other and we can split the difference on the third? I could handle that :teeth:

Well I think I am going ot sign off soon... I'll see you all later...

OK, I'm ready!! I'm ready!!! Checked the flights again--hoping I can go standby on an earlier one since the boss gave me the whole day off (original plan was 1/2 day).

I'll miss you guys, but I'll give Mickey and Minnie (and any other character I see) a hug from all of you! Take care of each other, hugs and kisses all around!! Mad, mad love to all!!!

See ya Monday................................................

Elaine there is only one thing you need to remember about childbirth........just one (make that two) simple words...............EPIDURAL NOW!!!!!!!!!!
After that is all smooth sailing :teeth:

Friends ending was great!!! I wont say anything else incase Nancy watches. Dont want to ruin it for anyone.

Elaine and Beth have fun!!! :bounce: :hyper:
I'll be thinking of you as I'm driving 300 miles through boring wheat fields tomorrow

Not ketchuping....sorry. Didn't get to see Survivor and don't want to read any spoilers. Won't get to see it Sunday either. I may never ketchup again.

Have a great weekend everyone. We are headed out early in the morning. I'll try to pop in from DD's computer.
:wave2:
