Darn Nancy didn't watch Survivor! OK, let's see I'm but, I
think they made a mistake . Can't wait to see it Sun.

DS and I got haircuts yesterday and Sat. I finally get a dye job!
Elaine you think you went short?! DS looked at me after my haircut and asked what was wrong with my hair . It has been long on top and long layers on the bottom so long he doesn't remember it any other way. Now it's more layered and since my hair is so thick and wavy it poofs on the top. Some day I'll have to figure out how to use my digital camera so I can send a pic .

Anywhooo, I'm just babbling 'cause I don't want to go to work but, I need to start getting ready.

My eye still looks horrible. After reading on the internet, it is broken capillaries that I have. Its not a full black eye, but enough to look bad and have people asking questions.

I call later this afternoon to find out what time I report for jury duty on Monday. I don't wanna go!!

Hi everyone!!!!

Last checkin before I meet Beth and Elaine!!! I have to work untill 3:00 today, then on to Grandma's memorial service, and then we are leaving from there for the world. We are hoping to get there about 8:30 tonight. I will give Elaine and Beth a hug from you all.

Better skedaddle and finish getting the boys ready for school and me for work. Luv ya all!!!

TC, be sure to make some time to elevate that ankle of yours!!! 1 week of walking freedom for me...then on to bathtime aerobics! I may even be good enough at this point to take the advanced class!!! Lily, I had to put that in there just for you...hope you got a giggle out of it!

Todd, I taped Survivor should you need the tape!!! Boy, all I can say is STUPID PEOPLE!!!! OK, I am done with that short vent! Now...wait until Sunday!! Arghh!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of flower buying! I know last night Greg and I went to get some baskets and just as we pulled up...they closed the store! OY!! Oh well, I guess we will be out there with the 9 gazillion other people this weekend!

Tara, so glad to hear your Dr. appointment went well! Glad to hear your are a little more relieved about what the doc had to say about the whole birthing situation! I am with you on that 12 pound baby thing!! I have to agree with Deena's 2 words of advice!

Speaking of Deena...;.how goes it girlie? All packed and ready to go? How far off is that trip? I really haven't looked at your itinerary too good...but I am not a great person to ask about those things! We usually go commando and there are just 2 of us...so we fare pretty well with little planning! I am sure you will have a wondeful time!!

Kristy...are you anywhere to be found? Was the beach this weekned or last? Hope you are having a fun time whereever you are!!

Pam, I remeber you were off packing too...just can't remember where you were headed! Oh my! I heard there was a PAM package in the postal system........how very scary.........I can only imagine what is in that package....and can only hope it is NOT headed this way!!! I have no use for a broken down, muscrat stinkin' blender........

OK, back to bed for me for an hour or two...I am pooped and we had to drop my car off at the shop this morning! It is getting buffed and shined!!! Just in time for 5 straight days of rain

Liz, my eye doesn't really hurt, just feels itchy alot. I try not to rub it so it won't get any worse, but its not easy. Rubbing it is how I broke the capillaries in the first place.
The only set plans so far for MD is we're going to Damon's with my mom and brother to celebrate MD and DH's b-day.

I can't believe how stupid the Survivor's are this time around. They've let Rob & Amber control the whole game. Idiots.

Jordan is home from school. Just as he was about to head to the bus stop, we heard on the news that his school was closed due to a power outage. Then his friend called and then another friend, who was told by the bus driver that school was cancelled, came by and told him. Jared, who rides the bus with Jordan (but goes to a different school) wasn't too happy that he had to go.

Darn! I was just at the Palace website checking the movie for tonight and noticed that the pin meet is at 1. How long do y'all think you'll be there? DH has practice tomorrow, and I never know how long it will go. Hopefully he'll be home in time for me to at least stop in and say hi.

WAH!!! I wanna go back to bed!! I'm so sleepy today I can barely think. I tried to go home early, but we have so many people out today that there aren't enough subs to go around. So I can go if I'm absolutely dying, I have to stay .

Oh, funny Jarrod story...mom called me to tell me that this morning he was flying his mcdonald's Kim Possible action figure around when he threw it and yelled "crash dammit". My mom looked at him and asked him what he said (she knew) and he told her very matter of factly what he said. Apparently I say that so much it sounds like a part of everyday vocabulary . I guess I need to find a new word!!

Gonna run and get lunch and do some lurking.

Thanks for the advice Liz. I found that it's more important for me to keep a compression sock on my ankle whether or not I keep it elevated and iced. I just walked 0.05 miles (264 feet) on a treadmill at physical therapy this morning. Between that and all the stretching that I did, I'm spending the rest of the day with an icepack on my ankle. I'll be in good shape for the pin meet tomorrow.

I hope that all is going well with your ankle. Perhaps we should get together sometime and have a hopalong meet.

actually I didn't catch it, one of our assistants told us that was him. I had to listen the next time to fully realize it. It's funny because I had my back to the tv and when I heard the voice I spun around looking for the woman!!! My kids thought it was hysterical that I thought it was a woman. Then I had to explain to them why I thought it was a woman (in case you don't know John, I teach deaf children!!)

Sure is quiet today.

Went to pick up a few groceries this morning, then lunch at Ponderosa.

Its pouring the rain down right now.

DH went to see the plant doctor (his appt. is at 3) and to find out if they have any work for him. He went to his dr. yesterday and they gave him a cortizone shot and he got an MRI. They think maybe he tore something again, as his shoulder has been hurting pretty bad the past few days. His dr. said he might be on restriction for the rest of his life.

Well, DH just called and he's on his way home. No work for him right now. He goes back in 2 weeks after he sees his dr. and has another MRI.


Gotta call in a bit and find out what time I report for jury duty on Monday.

Wonder how our travelling YaYa's are doing ? It ought to be a beautiful weekend for them. And it's the flower & garden show, I love all the plants and stuff.
