Yay for Elaine! :jumping1:

Rose Mary, RR is Red Robin. :)

I didn't get a link about Dizzy either.

Not happy with the AI results tonight. :( :(

OK, The Bachelor is back! :wave2:

Yippeee and Ya-hoooooo!!!!! Welcome Home, Elaine!!!!!!

Rose Mary, definitely check out the stretch Dockers--I wear 'em too and they fit my behind just fine! Also, check out Denim & Co. on QVC. They have lots of capris, but also lots and lots of pants that are not denim. I've been wearing them to work for years and absolutely love them! They have everything from twill to linen blends to velvet! And they have both with and without stretch. I like my pants loose and if I buy the kind with stretch, much as it pains me, I go up a size. Another good brand they carry is Dialogue, the twinstretch stuff. It's dressier and the fabric is absolutely wonderful!! It's true wash and wear!

Oh, and RR is Red Robin--it's our favorite place to eat!

Awfully quiet hereabouts, is survivor on?

LOL Rose Mary, yep I hope this means I can make it to FL a little more often.. maybe not number of times a year but total number of days/year would be nice!!!

Thanks for your insite as well... I really was thinking outloud. I do know all kids are different but I hear it discussed allt he time and I just wonder about it now and then.

Oh yes, the Dockers I wear are brand name only... there is no style name listed, but they have no back pockets and are cut differently than the regular ones... I love these and I just buy a size bigger so they are cozy instead of stretchy on me ;)

Sherry, who went home on AI? I suppose I could find a thread about it here though!

Thanks Beth!!!! I am also glad to knwo I am not the only one who buys up a size for stretch!!!! I love to do that on most since I hate clingy clothes!

not 9 pounds of oats.....18 pounds!!

You could always buy your DD that pony you promised her when she was 6.....;)

Rose Mary - My bad!! :o I meant to type: I really, really want Boston Rob to win....::yes:: ;)

Jeannie is a glutton..... Jeannie is a glutton!!

Congratulations, Lainey!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: Now I will have someplace to stay when I head down to see my pirate: and ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo and have breakfastfast with the princess: !! I will buy you a pair of :earsgirl: !!!

:jumping1: :jumping1: Yay!!! :jumping1: :jumping1:
When is the first Yaya bash!!?? ;)

No ponies here Pam.....all the neighbors have horses...that was close enough...stupid neighbors horses keep knocking our fence over. Guess they know there are plenty of oats over here :teeth:

Morning!

Somehow I broke a blood vessel under my eye last night, so I now have what looks like the start of a black eye. :( I hope it goes away before Mother's Day. It looks like I don't know how to put on my eyeliner. :teeth:

Been running around all week, so I think I'm staying home today.

SPOILER!! SPOILER! SPOILER!!

Not sure if anyone watches AI, so don't want to ruin it for you.

Elaine, George was the one to go home yesterday. :( :( :(

Good mornign all... quick check in here...

Of course Pam!!! You will always have a place to stay :teeth:

LOL, Nancy, maybe you could leave 9 pounds out on the other side of the fence and they might leave you adn the fence alone ;)

Sherry I hope your eye looks better soon  And thanks for the AI... not sure why I really asked because I really haven't heard anyone sing. Just not impressed with anyone at all this year I guess from the little tid bits I have heard.

I hope it goes away before Mother's Day. It looks like I don't know how to put on my eyeliner.

You mean you look like Tammy Faye Baker???:earseek: :earseek: ;)

Nancy - what no pony for that sweet little girl?? (My two always thought they were abused, too.....)

Elaine - I will pack my bags!!:Pinkbounc

 Morning all!

Sorry to hear about your eye Sherry! Why is it those things always happen around some kind of function or when you have things to do? :(

I guess we don't have RR here.

We just received an announcement about the new office they are building for our company. Pretty close to the same location so it won't change my driving time much  . But it will sure beat this place we are in. :D

SURVIVOR NIGHT!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: Yep, Pam I'm rooting for Boston Rob too, ( not ). :teeth:

LOL, Pam! Not quite as bad as Tammy Faye! :teeth: Its pretty small, but annoying just the same.

Rose Mary, stuff like this always happens at the wrong time. Especially to me.
No RR's by you? Oh no. They have the BEST bottomless steak fries!!

I don't know what in the world I would do with so many oats.

Supposed to hit 79 today! :jumping1:

YIPEE!! Survivor night!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Guess I am lucky there aren't any RR's near me. BOTTOMLESS fries of any kind and I would really be an oinker! :teeth:

Forgot to say Thanks to Beth & Elaine for pants ideas.

Good morning, everyone! Yay, the :sunny: is back and we are expecting 79º today, too! In celebration, I wore white crop pants to work today. Now watch, the toner will need to be changed in the copy machine

Ooo, Sherry! Sounds quite annoying and I, too, will be praying that it heals super fast so you are 100% for Sunday! Oh, and not only do I fully agree on RR having the BEST bottomless steak fries, but their onion rings are superb, too!! I just wish they still had the fried zucchini--that was my personal fave :(

Nancy, I think Elaine gave you an excellent idea for protecting your fence!! I am extremely envious though--not only do you have the mountains I love, but surrounded by horses too!!! I wanna move!!!!!

LOL!!! Ya Ya sleepover at Elaine's house--the DVC one, that is!!!! Sounds like a good idea to me!! How about the last week of January, 2005? You know, when we all have the winter blahs after all the the holiday hype?!!

Rose Mary's company is building a new office? NICE!! Glad to hear it won't inconvenience you as to location. Last time I was involved in an office move, they moved to the next state and my commute went from 10 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes!

Pam, glad to hear you are packing your bags! 'Bout time we got you to a meet!!! You know we'd cure you of that shyness in about 2 minutes. I vote you join us in December at WDW ::yes::

Well, boss is in...gotta look busy. I'll check back later! to all!!

JUst a quick peek in before I hit the road....:)

Congrats on DVC!!! Yay!!! So let us know when we should all show up with cabana boys in tow?;)

Bottomless FRIES....what is the world coming to? (must see about getting an RR here.;))

SHer...just tell 'em you were in a barroom brawl with the Yayas...or OH!!! I know...you could get one of these pirate: and just tell folks you are highly anticipating the next PotC. ::yes::

Yay RM new building!:bounce: :)

Shoot I have GOT to go! Oh Beth I forgot to mention in my PM I LOL'ed at your warning about carrying the pole...I envisioned a lot of innocent folks getting whapped too!!!:rotfl:

I've GOT to SCOOT!:moped:

Good morning.

Save trip, Jeannie :wave2:

Pam...you know, I don't think Christin ever wanted a pony. She rode the neighbors when an urge hit...which I think was once!! ;)
She would rather have clothes!!

Beth, believe me, having horses around isn't so great! Besides knocking the fence over, they stink in the summer!! And attract flies!

Sherry...hope your eye looks better soon.

RM...no RR!! I went to one years ago somewhere in Florida ;)

Gotta go do some packing and cleaning.....be back later.

Just a very quick post to say :wave2:

Elaine......:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

I am so happy for you!!!!

To everyone else....hugs to all who need them, happy day to all and more a bit later.....AFTER Survivor....I want Boston Rob to win too (not, Not, Not!!!)

Nancy, I printed the recipe and gave it to our resident bakers. Now I’ll just see if “magic” happens and they appear. I related the oats story too, it was good for some laughs last night.

Living vicariously through you just now. Mmmmm

Tina, it is quite the opposite here. Ted is the one who wants to go all the time. He is the resident Disney person. I accompany him because I love him! (Tough job I know, but somebody’s gotta do it) Hope those fires don’t make things too smoky and that they don’t spread.

RM, I agree about finding the right fit for clothes. Wish I cold afford to have mine custom. They just did a short news thing about kids and summer camp for just about any interest one may have. Is that something that is available in FL that would allow DS to have fun, keep him out of the fridge, and allow him to be active safely—yet be affordable? Good news about the new office. Hope the air conditioning works better for sure and that it has lots of windows.

Elaine Welcome home! Congratulations.

Sherry, sorry about that eye. Hope it is better soon. I actually think that the two in last nights AI line should be the ones to go and the three left standing were correct.

No Beth, how about the YaYa party in mid-January when they hold the WDW marathon. I will be there for the ½ marathon and you can all cheer me on. I could use the support. It is January 9, 2005. I haven’t made ressies yet, but want to be there January 8th to the 15th. Come on, how ‘bout it huh?

Hey there Liz. What’s up?

Everyone I missed :wave2:
Later YaYas...

Morning all!

Yay!! Elaine has dvc!! I've often wondered about DVC but I have no clue how it works so I don't investigate. Maybe one day when I find me a rich husband or a better paying job I will look into it. Are there any tax benefits that go with it? That would help!!

oats, horses, cookies, roadkill....I need pepcid just to read all that! Actually, I carry tums with me everywhere I go these days.

Wish I could help on the pants issue but mine are only good if you like wearing them directly under your bra!! hehehe Pre preggers I wore Lee casuals. I love them because they require no ironing, just wash, dry, wear! They are good for work, play, and such. I don't do capris because then i have to shave regularly!! hehe boy I'm full of tmi today!

As for age of kids staying home. We were originial latch key kids (early 80's). I was 4th grade and my bro was 2nd grade. We had strict rules about what we were permitted to do and what we weren't. My mom wouldn't get home until 6 or 7 at night so we were very capable of fending for ourselves. However, I think Jar will be 25 before I let him stay home alone. Even with me home he can cause some serious trouble!

can't think of any other ketchup stuff. So I'll entertain you with my life :hyper: Got ressies at a restaurant on the bay for mother's day. Now I need to find someone that can watch Jar. My regular evening babysitter can't do it until evening and our resies are for 3pm. I've emailed his other grandmother to see if she will be around but I haven't heard back from her. I have ob appt. this afternoon. Then I have the rest of the afternoon off. However, I wonder why they even make you come in. The only thing the doc will do is listen to the heart (which I know is fine because this boy is SO active) and then tell me to come back in 2 weeks. Oh well, I've already paid my copay so I guess I might as well make the most of it.

gonna eat lunch and then run. More maybe tonight!

Elaine - Congrats on owning a piece of the best DVC resort. I guess that makes us neighbors.

Sherrie - I still hope you can make the pin meet on Saturday. Black eye or no black eye, it would be great to see you again.

Lily - I'll be standing at the end of my driveway with pins in hand on Saturday morning. I am looking forward to our trip to Lorain.

This will have to be a drive by posting. I'm catching up on 9 weeks of promises that I've made to people that require my using my desktop computer. I don't often plant myself in front of the old beastie, especially since the accident.

BTW - It's been 9 weeks since I fell and had surgery. Physical therapy is going well. I know that I won't be 100% for Cedar Point on Memorial Day, but I'll manage. I'm looking forward to our 4th annual Memorial Day DIS Cookout. And my physical therapist has promised that I'll be in good shape for our July 4th trip to WDW.

hey gang..:wave2:
Been lurking lately...

John--hope cicadas come early so Amanda mind will be changed...glad to hear your getting better & will be in good shape for WDW...

Beautiful day outside..went shopping, washed the van..
Sad day inside..Mandy came home sick, my baby robins were dead(these are my annual robins that lay eggs and we watch them progress under our deck--through the boards--the flies were getting to them and I threw them out before they started to stink and maggots were everywhere..sorry momma bird..:( )
Don't have energy to do anything else..:(

Probaly won't go bike riding saturday for fear the locust might show up early..still gotta talk to Amanda...

Possible weekend trip to Williamsburg VA..my buddy has 4 free passes to Bush Gardens and for 2 people to golf..possible couples weekend...
