Hi all, went over to our friends and got home a couple of hours ago. Did some stuff around the house (dinner included) and now about to go put clothes in the dryer.

I have five names total so far for the exchange and if I get really ambitious I will come up with a good survery tonight before I go to bed.

Okay Nancy sneaked in with tulip pics... how gorgeous!!!!!! I love them all! Our are just beginning to pop up and getting ready to bloom!

Oh and I just thought of something... I have no clue how this happened but for a while I ahve been stuck at the same weight for a while. I've eaten like crap and I haven't been very good about excercising. Well, I stepped on the scale this morning and I finally broke that weight! 15 down, 25 more to go

Elaine, on the weight loss. That is wonderful! Doesn't that just make you feel so good? And thanks for just caring. I think right now there isn't a whole lot anyone can do. That's why I usually keep things to myself 'cause I don't want others to feel bad about being helpless as to how to help. Does that make any sense at all? Karen, that is exactly what I was having one of my pity parties about today. MIL made these really ugly mugs w/mermaids on the handle for DH years ago. I can't stand them. I was unpacking a box today and my Coca Cola kitchen cannisters were in it. The biggest one is broken along with a glass ice bucket I have had for years but, wouldn't you know those stupid mugs were intact. I just wanted to throw them.

Nancy, Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful tulip pics. How absolutely breathtaking it must be to see all those gorgeous flowers.

DH put his new wallet in the wash And of course his temp dr. lic (that he got yesterday!) disintegrated!! Ack!!
Luckily he had nothing else in there yet

Good Morning Everyone!!

Im here at work all by myself. The boss is visiting with his new grandchild and my coworker decided to take off. I have tons to do but dont feel like doing a bit of it. I wanna be home with my dh and the boys. To top it off the A/C isnt working too well in the office this morning and Im dying of the heat in here. Gotta go smack the thermostat or something.

Nancy your dh sounds like mine with his wallet. I finally had to get him one with a chain on it to keep him from losing it and washing it. I got it at the little shop in Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't suppose that would go with your dh's suit for work though LOL.

Elaine have fun at the concert tonight!! Who are you going to see??

Welp Im gonna go smack the thermostat around a little and see if I can get it cooler in here.

No time to catch up. Have all day training at work....what fun

Please keep Todd's Dad in your prayers. He is having difficulty in his recovery process. I think it really is difficult for him to be down when he is so used to being up and about all day.

Keep my Dad in your prayers. He is still having difficulty over losing my Mom. He wouldn't even come to our family gathering on Saturday.

With everything going on we may not be able to make it to Chicago. We are going to wait till the last minute to make the decision, it will mostly depend on Todd's Dad and how he is doing. With two emergency room visits in the last 4 days we are not sure what to expect in the coming weeks.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and that the week goes by fast and easy for everyone!

Karen, tonight I get to see Josh Groban. I think it I bought those tickets almost exactly 5 months ago too

Amanda, I will keep you all in my prayers. I do hope that Todd's dad continues to improve quickly. I know with past relatives, a few were more or less forced to stay in the hospital for about 3-4 days to keep them "slow" and relaxed. I also pray that your dad will be okay. I do know, that even 10 years later, my dad is not the same man But he did improve from the way he first was. I do hope you can make it to Chicago, but I do understand if you wouldn't be able to

About a week. We used to get them right away but now they use some special paper.....to make them less easy to forge, so they have to be made up somewhere else.

DH doesn't wear a suit to work, Karen He does have a chain on his pocket watch....might just have to get a matching one for the wallet
