HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!

The Easter Bunny did NOT go back to bed. Right now Im revved and waiting for the kids to wake up and see what they got LOL. If they arent up by 7 I need to get them up to get ready for church. Dh does the AV stuff for Kids Church so we have to be there by 9. After Kids Church the kiddos will go to Sunday School while Daddy and I attend Big Church. We are meeting our IL's at Cracker Barrel at 1:00 for Easter Lunch. That place ought to be a madhouse. Its bad on a normal Sunday. Then its home to relax and then make the side dishes for the Honey Baked Ham.

Ohhhhhhh I forgot to tell you all. While Mommy made a covert run to the Disney Store dh took the kids into BAB. I got the most wonderful BEAR!!! His name is Bearemy and he is wearing the BAB mascot shirt and hat and a pr of sandals. He has a heart and a voice that says I LOVE YOU!!! I am a bear fanatic and my eldest knew just what to get me. I will take a picture of him today. He has the place of honor on my rocking chair and I would be greatful if someone could post it for me.

Gee Karen, I hope ya don't crash later. An all nighter! Sounds like it was fun though. Brings back fond memories for me.

Not much here as all are grown. Church, DS #2 must work this afternoon. We will be having our traditional dinner--ham, potato salad, kielbassi, dessert is lamb cake (a pound cake type recipe made in a lamb mold) and what we call dafodil cake (angel food type with pinapples mixed in) and enjoying a quiet kind of day.

Dinner at home will be turkey.

Katen....long night there. I remember being so excited to see the kids go through their baskets.
DS opened all his stuff this year as soon as the package got there (Thursday) :rollyese:
DD always waits until the "real" day .....so she will open hers this morning. I didn't send her a basket this year either, Karen......it is a beach bag instead. Cute ...has flip flop pictures all over it and a removable second bag. She is the flip flop queen!! It will be great for her trip to Hawaii in July.

DH's basket is waiting for him to get up.

Would love to see your bear, Karen.....that store is so fun!!

Happy Easter, everyone!

Yeah, I got to sleep! With interruptions: 7:00 "Mom, the easter Bunny knew that I wanted the Lego Snowspeeder!". 8:05 "Mommy, the Easter Bunny got me my Blue Buzz Lightyear! Open him!!!". Then I was able to go back to sleep for about another hour. Now they're looking for the eggs...this is the first year I've done them, since I was waiting for Kevin to be old enough to participate in finding them!

It was going to be a quiet day, but we will have friends joining us for dinner, so there's now some motivation to clean up today, lol!

Beth, my sisters chipped in and got my mom a digital, but my stepdad has taken it over!

Bella, glad to see you back!

I'll jump in on this summer exchange...oooh the goodies I can get for that one ...

Somehow the Easter Bunny managed to sneak into our house without Gunny nailing him.....!!

Everyone got baskets stuffed with goodies!!

DS got me a beagle t-shirt and DD got DH and I a basket with candy and the Something's Got To Give DVD!! DH got me tons of candy, too!!

We just got back from Church and are ready to head to my MIL's for lunch - well DD and her BF are going to his parents house. Then later this afternoon we go to my parents.

Finally got MRI results in..inconclusive...dr wants to see me in the office. Probably will never know what it is. Just one of those great mysteries of life.

Nancy I hope you are able to get your camera fixed in time for Chicago trip. Mine broke when my Mom was here. I lost all of my pictures. I turned the camera on and it just erased them. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the fact that Jack dropped it two days after I bought it:rolleyes

My basket had loads of candy.....which I shouldn't eat because my pants are getting a tad tight .....but I will anyway just hope to ration it out.
Got a cute little Harmony box to add to my collection (Disney of course) and a DVD.....oh and a cute little soft chick with bunny ears.

Hope everyone had a great day......I will work on resizing and uploading tulips!! They were gorgeous. It was crowded ......and we went early and it was a gorgeous day!! We hit 80º.....that is summer temps for us!!

Mine hasn't been so great . Thanks again for all the kind
words. Right now is just a tough time all around. Had myself
a little (well maybe not so little) pity party for a while today.
Guess I needed to get some of it out. Anyway, moving is going slower than I had anticipated. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Nancy- Glad you enjoyed your tiptoe thru the tulips Sounds beautiful. I do really miss some of the wonderful tulips and such that just do not do well here in Fl.

I give up on having nice things in my house. So far since yesterday my angel incense burner and my spiral candle holder has been broken. Why is it always MY stuff and things I LOVE that get broken??
