Unfortunately Karen, I won't be able to get in anywhere but a walk in clinic until Monday. I did go in last Sunday and did my five days of Zithromax they gave me, but... IF this thing is a bacterial infection, I'm not sure the Zithromax kicked it. If by Monday, I'm not considerably better, I'll get in to see my reg. Dr. right away. I hesitate to do the walk in thing again, it's so far away... but if I have to before Monday, I won't hesitate to, I promise.

GP.... if only El Dorketto were here to take care of me in my time of need, but no... instead he's off skating circles in Bay City Michigan this weekend.

I LOVED the Muppet show!!! Always thought "Animal" was cool. Love those wild bad boys.

I know Hildey and Jennifer.... I know... but I swear I thought I was getting better. Actually... I AM better, just not as better as I wanna be. I'm at that stage where I can't decide whether or not I'm improving or not. Not as congested now... not coughing nearly as much, just achy and no energy. Ugh. These bugs always take it out of me, more than they seem to some people, but this one!?!? OYE!!! I don't wanna go back to that walk in...waaaaah! It's so far away, and I have to drag Cam out of the house, and drive allll the way there and allll the way back and wait two hours at Walgreens again. Ick ick ick!! Ooooh! Gotta take Cam to a skating party tomorrow.... if I'm not better by then, I'll go to a walk-in in that town... fair enough?

CS, actors and occasional rock stars are nice too. Just something about those athletes though.

No joke Kim...I was misdiagnosed last winter (unlike you I was at the dr office over and over!) and got a nasty case of puemonia that had me coughing for 3 months. Really....a little better is not good enough!

Jennifer, how did they ultimately decide it was pneumonia? Chest x-ray? ....and how do they treat it? Do they do more than antibiotics? I'll be near several walk ins tomorrow, so unless I'm 100% better than I am today, I'll definitely stop in... I promise. I've got to get back on my feet... not exercising is doing me in. I hate that more than anything I think.

Well....let me start by saying we DO NOT use this dr anymore!

I went took Paige in with a respritory infection between christmas and new years. The monday after NY I went in w/cough. Just the gunk she says......go a week with no sleep......next tue. go in still viral........go in the next Wed. I now cannot move because I've coughed so hard I put my back in spasm. Can't hear anything in lungs...but gives Robutussin w/codine saying if this doesn't help you sleep you are in serious trouble. Sat. cannot get out of the bed. Husband takes me in. Oh, she GUESSES she didn't hear the fluid she now hears in my lungs! Baxium (sp?) is what she prescribed for 10 days. I stopped coughing in April

Hi all! Just got home from Rachel's party. She made out like a bandit, as usual. She loved her charm braclet (made her one out of my free links) and got a lot of spirit stuff.

Had a nice visit with my mom and dad, short but nice.

Well, gotta run. We're getting the kids in the shower so they can have an early night.

Sounds like we have Kim convinced to see the d o c tomorrow. Yes Kim they should, at this point, do a chest xray. And if it is pneumonia it is treated with antibiotics and maybe a couple of other meds. Different antibiotics treat different types of germs. Some are very specific...others (called broad spectrum) are very general and treat several different germs. Unless they do a culture, the doc is guessing...from your symptoms...what it is that you have. They don't always get it right the first time. So don't feel silly going back...its the right thing to do.

Phew I think I overdid it today (talking about tired ) It felt good getting back to my bowflex, but then a day's worth of Birthday shopping on top of that was probably a little much. BUT...I am on the mend...almost there! Just need a good night's sleep tonight.

Well, we now have a phone that costs more than the house. WHY do I take him shopping with me? It really is a nice one, Panasonic, expandable. So between the base handset, the two extras he bought AND the other phones in the house that we had, we can pick up a phone in just about every room. NO, I refuse to have phones in the bathroom. YUK!
