The "World" May Never Be The Same! *We're back!* *new 8/24*

Ok, my multiquote was looking really scary so I'm going to try to remember everything!

Sharky - I never get the movies right...finally one I could remember :cool1: I love that movie! I just watched The Boy that Could Fly today (I think that's the name) from the 80's...that was fun :cool1:

Sarah - I will be taking all sorts of meds to WDW! I'm scared DH or DD will get it so I'm trying to be VERY careful!

Tat - I'm sorry to hear about your health. It's no fun not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon

No, headache's back. :sad2:

That always happens before you go to WDW. Something happens to make you feel crappy. I think its some kind of punishment or something. I hope you get rid of it before you go...oh and don't forget to swing by and pick me up on your way.:goodvibes

Long story why I feel crappy. I had my 4th surgery to fix me last week and felt better for a couple days, but now I think I'm back to square one.

Isn't that the truth. I am always running around like a lunatic before my trip trying to get rid of some stupid cold. If I don't get sick before, I always end up sick during or after. I think I would prefer after to be honest.

So sorry about the surgery. What a shame. I hope things start taking a turn for the better.

I'll be happy to swing on by and pick you up on Saturday :thumbsup2

Aw Tat, I am so sorry. I was hoping this was going to be the end of this nightmare for you. Weren't they going to put in a shunt?

The shunt's been there since May, but it hasn't functioned right since I got it. They replaced the valve and made sure it was working right this time, but its not doing any good. Those things have like 50%+ failure rate. I'm starting to think I was better off without it. I was legally blind, but at least the pain would go away.:confused3

WHAT IS ALL THIS CRAP??? sickness I mean!:lmao: Pixie dust for all of you to get to feeling better soon!!!pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Oh and here is some soup for you all with colds!!!!!:stir:

:goodvibes

That little smiley guy looks like he's putting some good stuff in that soup. I don't have a cold, but can I have some soup?:lmao:

You can have all the soup you want Tat.

I am so sorry that things weren't fixed. What does your doctor say? Is there something else they can do?

I haven't called yet. He wanted to take it out of my back and attach it to my brain, but I whined a lot and he said he'd try it one more time in my back. Then if that doesn't work, he's taking it out, and sticking it up there.:scared1: That's the last thing I want to do...I need to go back to work! I'm half afraid to even call his office, he's a scalpel crazy maniac! All those neurosurgeons seem to give off that crazy person vibe.

Sigh.

I so wish that it had helped you. :sad1:

How To Drive In Jersey .. ...

1. You must first learn to pronounce the city name, it is Nork - rhymes with Fork, not New-ark.

2. The morning rush hour is from 5 AM to NOON. The evening rush hour is from NOON to 7 PM. Friday's rush hour starts on Thursday morning.

3. The minimum acceptable speed on the turnpike is 85 mph. On the parkway it's 105 or 110. Anything less is considered "Sissy." (Just ask the Governor of NJ)

4. Forget the traffic rules you learned elsewhere. Jersey has its own version of traffic rules. For example, cars/trucks with the loudest muffler go first at a four-way stop; the trucks with the biggest tires go second; However, SUV-driving, cellphone-talking moms ALWAYS have the right of way.

5. If you actually stop at a yellow light, you will be rear ended, cussed out, and possibly shot.

6. Never honk at anyone. EVER! Seriously. It's another offense that can get you shot.

7. Road construction is permanent and continuous in all of Jersey. Detour barrels are moved around for your entertainment pleasure during the middle of the night to make the next day's driving a bit more exciting.

8. Watch carefully for road hazards such as drunks, skunks, dogs, cats, barrels, cones, celebs, rubber-neckers, shredded tires, cell-phoners, deer and other road kill, and the Homeless feeding on any of these items.

9. MapQuest does NOT work here -- none of the roads are where they say they are or go where they say they do and all the Turnpike EZ Pass lanes are moved each night once again to make your ride more exciting.

10. If someone actually has their Turn Signal ON, wave them to the shoulder immediately to let them know it has been "accidentally activated."

11. If you are in the left lane and only driving 70 in a 55-65mph zone, you are considered a road hazard and will be "flipped off" accordingly. If you return the flip, you'll be shot.

12. Do not try to estimate travel time -- just leave Monday afternoon for Tuesday appointments, by noon Thursday for Friday appointments, and right after church on Sunday for anything on Monday morning.

:rotfl: :rotfl2: That is TOO funny!!!
