The Woman Report- Update 4/24 Final Thoughts p. 74

second.

Sounds like you had a rough start to your vacation. Hopefully things got better. I guess the lesson is that flying into Denver anytime from September through June is a bad idea. You never know when the weather might be bad. I hope you didn't miss your flight out!

And Buzz.... WAKE UP!!!! You missed the partay on my trippie last night!

Lin pretty much "nailed" it. Kudos! :thumbsup2

The only thing I would add is that she was turning on lights all over the house in search of her stupid Simpsons DVD's so I noticed a huge 3 foot cobweb dangling from a light that is never turned on. I pointed it out to her to "help" her with her housecleaning but received a stern rebuttal instead of the praise I deserved.

That morning was pretty uneventful except for the fact that we were all very TIRED. The sleep on the plane was nice.

And I've been sleeping a lot due to that horrible bout of Mexican Flu I contracted three weeks ago.

Buzz likes sleep. ::yes:: Got 11 hours last night!

YAY:yay:!!! You started your TR, I am so thankful, my TR has about 2 installments that will be done this week then it is over. I will have your report and Buzz's to keep me occupied!!

STOP posting pictures on MY trip report Buzz!! He knows darn good and well I was imitating him in that picture! He had just done that for a pose so I was making fun of him and he snapped a picture. I was stretching my tongue so hard, it hurt afterwards. I have a really short tongue-I think I sprained it after that feat.

Geez, my hair is getting white. :scared1: Must be from being married to Buzz. I think I need to start dying that stuff.

Sorry to hear about the tongue sprain :rotfl:. I could see my hair not only going white from living with Buzz, but falling out too .

Saturday night before we left, I had a "disaster" that was not Disney related. A few weeks ago, I bought some Simpsons DVD's that were on sale. Those things never go on sale here so I got the 2 seasons we were missing for half price!! I was so excited. I put them somewhere where the kids wouldn't ruin them and immediately forgot where I put them. :headache: I spent all night looking for them and for my Wii game of GuitarHero. That got lost too. I finally found GH, but not Simpsons. I absolutely hate to lose stuff so this really bugged me. I was so happy to get a good buy on them and now I couldn't even find them!! So I stayed up a little too late trying to find them.

It is nice to know I am not the only one that puts things "away" then forgets where I put them. It drives me literally INSANE until I find it again. I feel your pain .

It was chilly that morning so we wore our jackets. LeeAndra wore TWO jackets!! Buzz had two also and a third that I would find later. I don't know where those 2 thought they were going, but whatever.

What is up with your family and coats:confused3 ? Did they think DL moved to Alaska??

LeeAndra -she is a CRAB in the mornings!! Yikes.
Buzz sleeps a LOT!!! Ever since he got the flu, that's ALL he does!!
Trey-he gets just crazy to see his teacher on the same flight as we are (that's coming later!!)
I can sleep on a plane with my head cranked to the side and not even need my rubby!!

LeeAndra looks so joyful, I can understand being that crabby in the early morning. Poor Buzz I hope he gets back to "normal" whatever the heck that is for him. Trey is so adorable, I can't wait to hear the teacher story. It is great to know that you can sleep without the rubby, although it is so much better with it :thumbsup2.

So to sum up:
*I lost 2 brand new seasons of the Simpsons due to my hiding them from the kids.
*I am not a good singer.
*Billings is very quiet at 5 am.
*Buzz and LA are Crazy Coat people.
* I lost those darn DVD's.
*Holding patterns are NOT fun!

Coming next: Popcorn for breakfast! Nutritious and Delicious!!

You will find the DVD's someday.
Who says you aren't a good singer?
Most places are quiet at 5am, St. Louis sure is when we go to the airport that early.
I agree that Buzz is crazy, poor LA is taking after him, you have to do something NOW!!
The DVD's aren't lost, just in a very good hiding place.
Holding patterns stink!!

I love the teaser line!!

Ok, here's my first official installment:

:yay: it's started:thumbsup2

I do want to warn you all that this is going to move along a lot quicker than (*cough*) somebody else's (*cough*) trip report.

Gee, I wonder who you could be talking about:rolleyes1 :lmao:

I do this all the time - put somethng away for "safekeeping" and can't find it:sad2:

I began by belting out "Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?? M I C K E Y M O U S E!!! Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse, forever let us hold our banner high..."

I wonder if Jim would like this in August..would you be willing to call my house at 4:30am DST:confused3

Coming next: Popcorn for breakfast! Nutritious and Delicious!!

popcorn::

Sorry you lost the DVDs. I am looking for a BUNCH of things right now that I put "somewhere special". It's especially bad around the holidays. :sad2:

LOL about the crazy coat people. My kids tried to pull that when we went to AZ, and I wouldn't let them.

Holding patterns stink! :headache: Airports are weird that early int he morning. When we flew out of Newark, we flew through security and ticketing and everytihg, but when we flew out of Phoenix, there was only ONE security kiosk (ir whatever they're called) open, so it took EXTRA LONG to get through security. :confused3

Glad your TR will go quickly!! Those stallign ones get confusing and LOOOONG after a while. I hear there was even one TR over on the board that had to be closed and restarted in a part 2, it was so long.....:rolleyes1

WooHoo. Here we go, Let's get this party started.
Funny, Buzz didn't say anything about you imitating him???? :confused3
Gotta luv those airports and all their security. You will probaly find thoses DVDs now that you are back home. :sad2: Where are your pics?

Ooh, I hear you about the obsession of losing things. I've been known to go CRAZY when my dd loses parts of her toys that are sets (like 1 shoe, 1 lego, etc) I can turn the whole house over looking for stuff...

Speaking of, we're missing two different white shoes for her little teensy princess dolls (like polly pockets)... and I am still looking for 2 different puzzle pieces. Yes that's what I've done today is sort toys and puzzles, instead of my real job (the one I get paid for)...

Nice update Lin!

Are they by any chance in a different suitcase? Or put with Christmas decorations?

Ugh, an extra hour in the plane. :headache:

Otherwise, nice start! I agree with whomever said that the security is sometimes slower in the morning because they tend to have less agents working at that time. :sad2:

Can't wait to find out what comes next!

Linnie! Thanks so much for the post card! Annie got it today. She couldnt believe that Mickey sent her a card. She hugged it for a while then put it under her pillow for safekeeping! :goodvibes

Did you ever find the DVDs? :confused3
I hate being starving like that!
Thats great about you singing in the morning. :rotfl2:

Hi,
Glad you got your report started and glad to hear it will go at a faster pace. :rolleyes1

I lose stuff all the time and I live in a 450 square foot apartment.

Glad the coat was found.

I hate circling in the plane. Hate it.

Looking forward to more.

I hate holding patterns.
botched landings are worse though.
Maybe you put the DVDs up high somewhere?:confused3
Wearing 2 and 3 coats :rotfl: Glad I live in Vegas!

 Well I am just like you and everybody else when it comes to misplacing things. With me it is usually jewelery. I will be wearing a ring or a necklace and will take it off and put it up somewhere so that my cats can't get at it and play with it. I always intend to put it in my jewelry box when I head to my room but I always forget and then a few days later I want to wear it and can't find it, the end result being my tearing the house apart looking for it. :headache:

I get frustrated when I lose stuff too.

That's great that you all slept. I sat the little kids with me so K would be less cranky on the plane, but I ended up crabby. :headache: Oops!

Mexican Flu... you can't say that here. You'd get in big trouble. :sad2:

Yeah you've started :yay:

Sounds like a bumpy start, what a pain about the DVD's, have you found them yet? They'll turn up just when you least expect them!

Glad the coat was found quickly, you don't know what they'll do with missing stuff anymore

Glad you all got some sleep :thumbsup2

Linnie, thank you so much for the post card!! It came today, and the kids were SOOOOOO excited.
