Hi everyone - a few quick questions:
1) How long is the ferry ride from MK to the Lodge in the afternoon (say around 2:00)? Is it usually crowded at that time? How long is it door to door?
2) Also, how long is the ferry in the evening from the Lodge back to MK? Wed like to head back to the Lodge in the afternoon but return to MK in the evening - however we dont want to spend too much time in transit.
Any thoughts or feedback?
thanks!!
I do not recall how long the ride is but is is pleasant and relaxing. I always thought it was not long enough. In any event it is the same length no matter what time you take it as they go the exact same route.
What is the fastest way to 1900PF from WL? I was also wondering the fastest way to TTC? Thank you!

This would be the views from the Inner Courtyard View Rooms off the lobby.
This website is unbelievable!! After reading and reading I decided to join, and now I am submitting first post.
My family of 4 leaves for our third trip to Disney World one week from Sunday. This will be our first time to stay at the Wilderness lodge. I am looking for suggestions on the best courtyard view for my daughter 11 and son 8. I have read some submissions related to less noise areas, but I am not worried about that. Realistically we may be part of the noise.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Can you enlighten me on this Garden Grocer? I have researched it enought to know that it isn't a Disney World service, but have no idea how to get a hold of them. Also, how do you let them know your choices?
thanks.
Just go to the website. You can place an order and have it delivered to your room on the day you arrive. We loved the service and always recommend it to others! Can you enlighten me on this Garden Grocer? Just a short note to say thank you to all who have contributed to this thread. It was a great help in planning our stay at the Lodge.
We stayed 10/17/08 - 10/25/08 in room 6123
This was our first stay at the Lodge, I don't think it will be the last!
The theming is superb, the cast members were helpful if we needed them, and mousekeeping was great. My children were left loads of towel animals (at least 2 per day)
We ordered some gifts for the children from Disney Florist and they were waiting in our room when we checked in, with nice notes from Mickey & Minnie![]()
We had great views of the water parade, the kids just had to be in the room for 9.30pm every night to watch it.
If anyone is interested in some photo's you can see them here (you will have to excuse the rest of the holidays snaps ! )
there are some really great pics there.
We didn't have breakfast there, however we did have lunch and dinner. The lunch menu more suits my taste than the dinner menu. I have enjoyed the food and atmosphere, especially with the kids. Make sure you ask for ketchup and any color crayon you are missing.![]()
When you want ketchup your table needs to YELL to the entire restaurant...WE NEED KETCHUP! The table w/ all the b ottles will bring them to you. The next table that yells it out...you bring it to them!
Thanks so much! What if we want to keep the ketchup after we get it ?
They will bring you quite a few bottles!!! We had it at our table a few minutes-plenty of time to get what we needed! My kids enjoyed it! They also bring this huge cardboard ketchup to the table-leaned it up against a window so you know where the ketchup really is!!!! It's nice to see the kids enjoy interacting with younger guests!!!
another option would be to look into garden grocer. I believe their grocery delivery service fee is $12 which is about what you would save on a case of water alone. Also you don't have to worry about your items being damaged in the mail.
I heard there was a minimum purchase of 50 dollars, is this true?
Yes! Great pics here. You are either a great photographer or you have a great camera!!! Thanks for sharing!![]()
