Lisadaa2-OK, that's got to be Nov28- Dec6, right? ;)
Oh, you ARE in for a treat!
The holidays at the lodge are F A B U L O U S !!!!

I have officially read this entire thread! now what to do?! I started on the WL photo thread. I am just too excited for this trip!! My DD1&1/2 is just beginning to talk and I have been busy teaching her all the important words for our stay at WL: "Duck," "Bunny," "Humphrey," "Upgrade..."

On another note- does anyone think it would be too annoying of me to call these poor CMs at CRO back and ask if they could please add "North wing" and "otter pond" to my already requesting "ground floor?"

Also, I have 64 and a 1/2 days to go, have already purchased everything (nonperishable of course), made a spread sheet-like, color coded, hyper-organized itinerary, printed and laminated it, hand-written a 372-item packing list (twice), read up on everything there is to know about the attractions and shows, memorized the TS restaurant's menus, made ADRs for all 6 days (and recorded conf. #s on the color-coded, laminated spreadsheet) practiced packing the day bag, made ID tags for DD, put all new Mickey jibbitz on the Crocs, purchased a camcorder and read the manual cover to cover in two languages... HELP! I need something else to do to help keep this excitement from converting to a diagnosable addiction. oooops. too late. I am a high school teacher in Florida and finding it increasingly more difficult to face this last week or so without wearing mickey ears to work!

I suggest that you start a Pre-Trip report!! You can view my Trip Report and my Pre Trip Report for my upcoming Dec. trip by clicking the title in my signiture below. It is the BEST way to re-live and get excited about your upcoming trip. Plus, advice from Disney veterans is priceless. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in January and are staying there again in December...we fell in love it is AMAZING!

I like the idea of a pre-trip report, too! We stayed there in Feb 2010 for our daughter's first trip and husband's first trip staying on site (at age 45) :goodvibes. WL was a delight on all levels. I am so excited for you reading your posts. :dance3:

Thanks for the great advice! I did it! I started a PTR. I have no clue how to continue it... but I most definitely started it:lmao:

I am enjoying every second of this pre-trip delirium! :jumping1:

Glad you started a pre trip report! Your last post was so funny, you've got a captivating writing style (or maybe because I am a crazy over planner and love to find company:)

CL question for you... any word on all the WDW clubs offering the same foods? Haven't heard much lately.

Thanks!

LuvsBlueDiamonds- I just read all about that last night. I am going to go try and find the thread I was in and I'll post it for you.:thumbsup2 -Stace

Sorry if this has been asked before... Does WL share any busses with anyone? We are going in Dec and I just wondered if the busses go straight from WL to DHS, from WL to Epcot, from WL to Mk and WL to AK or do they stop anywhere inbetween?

Also does anyone know approx times on how long bus ride is to each?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help.

When we were there 2 weeks ago, the bus stopped at GF on the way to AK and it stopped at FW on the way to Epcot.
The bus rides weren't long at all. We took the boat straight to MK.

Call 'em back. We tried "North Wing, Otter Pond, 5th floor". Got the floor, but off the main lobby (nothing wrong with that, really).

Have you printed your custom MouseKeeping envelopes???? ;)

Somewhere in the thread someone probably already mentioned this...

If you've got a minute, take the stairs by the WCC entrance up to the glass doors. Open the door and step in to the music that plays in the entrance to the lodge (doesn't play all night)...

You can hang out there for as long as you like without looking lost (or worse); as you would by actually standing between the main entrance doors on the lobby level.

custom mousekeeping envelopes! Genius! Goofy4, what can I say? :worship:
