Two years ago we stayed in a 2 BR villa at WL that was the perfect view--overlooking lake through trees with beautiful sunrise--but DUH..I didn't record the room number--anyone have any idea what room number series that might be? I would like to request again!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks. On my way to check it out.

skoi-Hi! :wave2: Been busy, but will be posting club level pics here and on the WL pic thread tomorrow and Saturday! :goodvibes
My WL CL experience was wonderful and I've stayed at every CL on property, including most suites and categories.

WL does share IPO with the Poly, and that needs some improvement, but the actual CL CMs are fantastic! Cannot say enough positive things about these guys and gals! :thumbsup2

You are in for a treat! :cloud9:

Thanks Little Lulu. I looked over what you posted so far and we're very excited. Oldest ds always wanted to stay CL- he has expensive tastes for our income level. But since there are 6 of us and a deluxe room wasn't anymore expensive than the two were were planning to book, so we're off.

WL was the first deluxe we stayed in, back in 2001, and I always loved it. Of course I've been happy everywhere on property except AS Sports. Just didn't like the giant sports equipment everywhere.

I have been reading some online reviews and one thing that seems to be repeated is that the rooms at WL are dusty. Can anyone let me know if this is true? I have a child with severe allergies.

I didn't find our room to be dusty earlier this month.

When we visited in March, our room was immaculate. Mousekeeping was excellent.

There is a way to request a special room cleaning before you arrive. I don't recall the details on that.

We didn't notice dust, but the bathroom tile/tub was not up to Disney standards. Since we arrived very late, we didn't request another room, but you could (and should) if not satisfied.

We are staying in the WL for the first time this Sept. Will be saying in a woods view room. What would be the best request to try to get a room facing MK?

We recently tried "5th floor, North Wing, overlooking Otter Pond". We got the 5th floor, but off the main lobby.

The trees block most of the view anyway. You could luck out, but I think most of the rooms don't have much of a view of MK/Contemporary/Monorail in that direction.

As Robo pointed out, you could try the employee parking lot for a better view of Wishes. We were never in at that hour to check it out.

We were in room 5034 (go past Roaring Fork to the elevators, our room was right there when you exited the elevator). To the left was a parking lot/service entrance, but straight ahead was a great view of the castle. On my last night I had some alone time, so I sat on the patio and watched Wishes. I had a good view of the sky fireworks :)

This year I booked a standard room. I haven't made any room requests yet. Suggestions???

Just bumping up because we'll be there tomorrow!! Can't wait to see Humphrey, rub his nose, and let the magic begin! :tigger: :goodvibes

I don't have the answer, but we are staying there in July in a 2 BR villa and we are also looking at what rooms have views of the lake. We also want to be far away from the smoking area. Anyway, anywone have any help in requesting 2 BR villas at WL that have good views???

Nebula- Oh! What a wonderful room! Those north side rooms are awesome and if you can get one unobstructed they are even more magical!:cloud9:
