I hate to repost this, but with less than a week to go hoping someone has some advice for us..

TIA!!! :)

One week from Today we will be landing right about now! :woohoo:

What do people recommend is the best way to request rooms??
Fax, Phone Call, wait until we check in??

Currently our requests would look like this

1st choice: Courtyard Ground Level 11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25 or 27

2nd Choice : Lobby/Courtyard(Bear Face) - 4067-4079 Or 5067- 5079

3rd Choice: Not sure what floor these start - Courtyard 35-41

4th Choice: Not sure what floor these start at?
Courtyard 43-53
Courtyard 31,29,27,25,23,21,19,17
Courtyard 51,53,55,57,59,61

We are trying to stay lower than 6th floor as my wife does have a slight fear of heights..

Unless of course we get some pixiedust: and a free upgarde to CL (Daughters Golden Birthday is December 11th so it would be a great surprise to get upgraded :santa:)

ONLY 7 sleeps until we leave!!::MickeyMo :goofy:

Snogger,

The only way to request a room location is by calling the reservation line and having them make a note on your reservation. You can't call WL directly or send them a fax. They will ignore any faxes they receive. You can reinforce your request when you check in.

I don't think they will allow you to make a laundry list of requests. It's best just to request an area or the hotel you wish to stay in and then work with the CM checking you in to get you where you want to be.

Thanks.. Our travel agent from the magic for less already has "Inner Courtyard" on our reservation.

Last time we just accepted the room they gave us, which wasn't bad, but we'd like to be closer to Roarin' Forks this time and a ground level room would be perfect..

Guess we will just wait and ask as we check in-- Which is only 5 sleeps away!!:dance3:

You can add to "inner courtyard"... "ground floor" and/or "North Wing" which is the same wing as RF.

Then just put that in the request...by describinh what location you want the room assigner will have a better idea of what you want vs just a list of room #'s...if none of those are avail., they won't know what location you are looking for and why.
I would maybe request Inner courtyard, lower floor, near roaring forks. We were inner courtyard on the 2nd floor last trip and it was great...we had to go down a level to get to the pool, but we were on the same level as the Mercantile and the lobby.

Maybe we'll see you there...we have 5 days left and I can't wait!

Have fun!!!

Yes there are a few. I think the 1st page mentions the # of King rooms and the # of HA rooms.

I'm so excited, was able to add a 45% off AP code to my reservation. :-) Nice to have a credit balance. :-)

Does anyone know if they refund it or does it just stay on my account?

Does not really matter since I'll be there in

45 Days!!!

WOW!!! That is AWESOME!!! I don't know about the refund, though!

Either way, you saved $$$, and will be at WL in 45 DAYS!!!

and I'll be there in 3!!!!
This is the longest work week ever...I can't concentrate on a darn thing.

It's bad for me that I'm 45 days out and I can't concentrate either.... LOL!!!

Have fun for me! Post some new pics while you are there!!!!

I am afraid to even look at pictures. If I do, I probably won't be able to sleep! I also want to just be amazed. I have read that many people rank WL as having the best Xmas decorations. I do hope that we have weather that is something warmer than frigid. I have been to Orlando in December/January when we needed heavy coats and when we could swim. I would rather the warmer weather, even at Christmas.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather for you!! I know that the decorations are out of this world because of my previous trips. Unfortunately I can't get there during this time anymore. :sad2:

Live it up for me!!!

I'm too cheap to pay $9.99/day for internet, so I'll post them when I get back!!

I'm with you there...one year, it was colder when we got off the plane on Orlando than when we got on in Philadelphia. No thanks!
After looking at the forecast today, I'm just praying it doesn't rain every day. I don't mind it when it's warm, but it will make for pretty miserable park days if it's 40 and raining. Although, it beats staying home in the snow!:thumbsup2

Any suggestions for exactly how to live it up on your behalf, Brian? I'm up for new ideas!

SLEEPS??? You really think you will be able to SLEEP between now and then????:lmao:

I was up last night worrying I forgot to pack something. DH reminded me that we were going to WDW, not a 3rd world country! Then my super smart DD reminded me that if I forget a T-shirt or something I can always get a cool new Mickey one!:thumbsup2

So the worries about forgetting something are over, but I'm now just too darn excited to sleep!
