Alright, I just looked at your pretrippie and finally got to see you.

Coming out of lurkdom to say I'm loving this trip report! But for the life of me I can't find a picture of Marina. Or maybe she and her mom resemble each other, and I'm confused.

Marina, show yourself!

Unless you're like me and hate pics of yourself. I'm not unattractive, but the camera does NOT like me. I just don't take very good pictures. It's one of the reasons I haven't done a trip report so far. That, and I'm pretty sure we're boring!

Hmmm, no third eye in the middle of your face, no horns coming out the top of your head. I did see a fantastic smile, beautiful eyes with a mischievous glint in them, and gorgeous hair. So what is up with no pictures of you??? Tis not fair I tell you .

OK, curiosity finally got the best of me and I snuck over to your PTR, too! You're beautiful!! I don't know why you hide yourself! I'd rather see pics of you than your sister being miserable!!!!

PS - The camera hates me too...it's funny how I can look at myself in the mirror and feel that I look at least somewhat presentable and then I get my PhotoPass pictures and it's like every little flaw is accentuated! I hate that! But anyway, you are very pretty and if I can flaunt my butt around on my TR's than you can too!

Ok, Marina, here's what a dork I am. I read all of your 2nd trip report, not the double and a half! I only started the double and a half, which is why it was all a surprise for me. So, yesterday I went to read the one from last summer and gee, everything looked verrry familiar!

AND I saw the picture of you, and it was so good! The camera doesn't like me either. Don't you hate people that you think aren't all that attractive in real life when they look great in photos?

I just finished reading your PTR.
I can almost cry
Such hopes, such plans and then to have it go the way it did - that just isn't right
I can't believe how many things you bought for them - MP3 players, t-shirts, pirate things - It just breaks my heart for you to be so, so kind and then to have the trip from Hades.
It does make me feel better that you and Grumpy are able to go again so soon.
I think it is a good idea to not let that much time go between trips. I think it would be bad for your health.
It would give you too much time to relive those moments and too much time to plot how you can get to them and cause much bodily damage and you know it wouldn't be discovered for days because they live in such a remote area. It wouldn't be like they would be missed at work.
Now I need to read the other TR and wait for your update on this one.

Thanks for the sweet comments on the photo It's probably the best pic of me I have (I know, scary). And it doesnt' hurt that you can't see anything below the neck
But mostly the reason why there aren't any pics of me is because I'm the one behind the camera taking pics! Grumpy doesn't know how to operate my S3IS - hmm okay, I barely know how to operate it myself - plus I don't trust her around it. She's notorious for dropping cameras in lakes and such.

Speakin of cameras I just bought me a new, tiny one. Love my S3 but that thing is huge and I can't ever take "spur of the moment" shots because it takes me 5mns just to get it out of the case and on the right setting. So I bought a small Sony Cybershot.. had a couple of them before and they were good.

Grumpy & I are downsizing big time for this trip (unfortunately I'm only talking about luggage). We never got our DME stuff so we're trying to fit everything in our carryons. Wish us luck !

I'll post an update this afternoon when I get home from work. Only 4 work days left before we leave !!!!

Hi Marina!! I though you could take your claim check tickets and give them to ME at the check in counter and they get your luggage. I saw many people doing that when we were there in June. It might take you longer to get it though.

Or you could go get the luggage yourself at baggage claim and bring it with you on ME. There is no way I could do carry on only .

Grumpy & I went searching for Jessi and Alex. We finally found them sitting in an area close to the water. Jess had her shoes off. We knew something was up.

In real life I'm not stoopid, but I swear, the DIS vexes me for reasons unknown to me. I kept seeing posts referring to your pre-trippie and was dumbfounded. Then I re-read your first entry for this TR and finally saw the link for your pre-trip report. Girl, you are pretty! Don't minimize your looks! Are you and/or your mom, um, "vertically challenged"? Because, and I'm only 5' tall myself, she looks like a squirt in your pictures. On the other hand, your sister and her gf look like giants! Maybe it's just camera angles . . . And furthermore, if you're "pooh sized", I'm a monkey's uncle!

I know you're going to have a blast at the Poly! It's my favorite resort. You guys SO deserve a do-over!

I JUST got a Sony Cybershot and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! My wonderful DH gave it to me as an early anniversary present, cuz every time I took pics on the old camera I cursed that stupid thing under my breath. He said this way I'll have plenty of time to learn how to use it before Disney in October. It's SOO easy - have fun with yours!

Hi I may have missed this info somewhere, but I arrive at Pop AUG 3 08 and was just wondering were you will be staying...maybe i could be the luckeist fan of all and actually meet the AUTHOR ( hint...you really need to write a book) of the TR....cant wait until the next installment!
