The "Whose Going in August 2007" Thread

Hi everyone
We just booked our second trip to this maverlous place this week. We are going August 5 to the 12. We booked at Pop and took the DDp which is a first for us. We are quite excited. Especialy my girls Oh and of course us parents . I think we are more excited than the kids.

Since you have been to WDW in August before I was wondering how are the crowds from the 15th on? Is it as crowded as April or Dec? Is the heat bearable. We are kicking around times for our next vaca after the one in Jan. and with our teenagers schedules we think it will have to be in August. Thanks

We were there in August last year from the 15th to22nd - it was free dining so yes, it was crowded, but not terrible- not like Easter. The main thing I noticed was more cloudy overcast days and more rain as compared to July. The good thing was the rain cleared out the MK one evening and that was great. Hoefully, even if they offer free dining it may not be as bad since so many people are booking after the 21st with the "code"

We are staying Aug 21-23 at Pop and 23-29th and Poly

We'll (me, dh, ds10, ds5 and ds2) be there August 11th to the 19th. We have a lot of celebrating to do. We'll be celebrating my graduation and entering grad school as well as DH's (Aug 12) and DS1 (Sept 9) birthdays. We haven't decided whether it will be the BW/ YC or Poly CL, but we can't wait .

DS(20) and I will be there for our 3rd August trip the 19-23. We're staying at the Swan this year so no DDP for us. Can't complain, DH and I just returned from a trip in Jan and we swore we would never get the DDP again. I was sooooooo tired of eating!!!!! (But it was all soooooooo good!!!!!!!!!) So add us to the August list please!

We are a party of 7 . We are staying at POP Century Going Aug. 12~24 Me, DH, DD 16, DS 9 ( turning 10 in disney) and My Best Friend , her 2, DD 15 and DD 10 (celebrate her day too .
