Daughter turning ten next December and thereby becoming an adult in the World makes this perhaps a last hurrah for us...for a while at least....so we went large and super-sized! Booked the August Bounce Back with free dining when passing through for a day earlier this month, and are confirmed for 10 NIGHTS - 11 DAYS (!! !!) at POR (Mansion side preference) August 8-18th, making it our 3rd August in a row! OK, we admit it, we are freekin' nuts ....

Yup, we're newb's to the boards, but this will be our 4th trip to the World. We plan on going 8/16 to 8/23, and staying at the All Star Music Suites, unless they announce free DDP, in which case we'll upgrade to the Poly. We are 4, DW and I, DS (14) and DD (9). Hope 2 c ya there !!!

For the past 3 summers, DH and I have taken my 3 nephews along with us on vacation (in addition to my DS and DD) to a dude ranch in upstate NY. However, we have such a bug from our last trip to WDW, that all we want to do is plan another trip (all of us have only been twice in our lives!).

It looks like it's going to be a 2BR villa at the Beach Club. It's not going to be inexpensive, but we've already started budgeting for it. The 7 of us have a blast when we vacation together (they're all well behaved, fun kids) so I can only imagine how much fun we'll have together. My nephews have never been on a plane and have never been to Disney.

I've been reading all kinds of posts for best ways to stay "cool" in the heat and I'm going to keep reading. We have our heat & humidity in the NE, but I think we'll be challenged in Florida!!

Since you have been to WDW in August before I was wondering how are the crowds from the 15th on? Is it as crowded as April or Dec? Is the heat bearable. We are kicking around times for our next vaca after the one in Jan. and with our teenagers schedules we think it will have to be in August. Thanks

If they offer free dining again, I will be there the last week of August with my DS 12. I already have my itinerary and dining planned. Even if they don't offer free dining, I may still need to go!

We will at the Pop from 8/5 -15th (10 nights). We booked the bounce-back deal, so it's going to be free dining for the 3 of us. It couldn't be more perfect than this.

We'll be there 8/11/07-8/25/07. Since there are 9 of us we're staying offsite. Last two times we were onsite and while I'm sure I'll miss the convenience, I couldn't justify the cost.

My family & I have already made our reservation & are confirmed for Disney's Contemporary Resort on the Atrium Club floor, from August 7-17. So I am very excited about it.
