We will be at CSR from 13th August till the 27th with free dining

Well here is the situation, originally was going Dec 07 for xmas, (was there xmas05 and loved it), began thinking about how nice the weather was this past xmas and I got the feeling that we will probably have a bad one this year. Live in VA(Hampton Roads) and it would be just my luck that we get stranded because of ice or snow or flooding. So now I am considering Aug 16 - Aug 22, just wondering how hot and humid is it during that time of the year.
Either way Aug or Dec we are on our way to WDW!!

Me, DH and DD15 will be at POP from August 21-28th. This will be our 3rd August in a row! Hoping for free dining and then we may upgrade to CSR again and let DD bring a friend (again). See you there!

Same here...we do August as a regular even tnow it seems....free dining upgrade is too good to pass up.

I posted with others in a long thread how to manage August a few months ago. Perhaps you could find it as it had all the right tips and tricks (managin time, get to park at opening, take mid-day break, use misters, etc.) Bottom line...

It is HOT

...but manageable, even enjoyable, if approached right.

Our plane tickets are booked for August 21 to the 29th! Finally decided on POP. Kids won out!!! We are going with friends from hockey so there will be 7 of us in 2 rooms...
Hope to see everyone there... Our LGMH will be on our door!!!

1st time posting, long time lurker. We were at disney for Christmas at POFQ. Booked the bounce back program, (yeah free dining). Booked POFQ for my birthday 8/23-8-30.

We'll be there 8/4 - 8/11. We are doing a split stay this time...3 nights at ASMo, and 4 nights at the Polynesian.

We are going July 28-August 5th for a family reunion, they have picked CBR to stay at but I am trying to find out how to get a condo for my family because there are 7 of us and I dont want to do two rooms.

We'll be there Aug 25-Sept 2. Just me and my 2 sons. First time without DH, he wants to go hunting. I think we will be at Pop.

We will be going Aug 19-26. Not sure what resort, but booked at CBR for now. Would really really love for free dining to come out for the general public or one of those great pin codes others are getting. If that happens we will probably upgrade to AKL. This will be the last trip for 2 years! Uggg..I want the time to go quickly but don't at the same time. 2 years is a long time!
