I am sooooo happy. I just got the word from work that I can take my leave so WDW here we come! I was STRESSING!!!!!!!





I just found out that my ship is leaving for deployment for eight months so I really want this to be special for my Mom, two boys ages 8 & 3, and me!

I can't believe we're almost doing the single digit dance! I have the suitcases out and have put all kinds of goodies in there, waiting until I can do the official packing of the clothes.
Any one else going to be at the Swan around Aug.10-17?

I'm doing the teen digit dance today!!!!!!!!!! Last night I made a list of things I still need to pick up. It's a pretty long list, mostly stuff I need to pick up at Walmart or Target. I'm doing major house cleaning this weekend so I don't get caught doing it last minute and the weekend before we leave, all I have to do is the minor stuff like dusting, vacuuming, etc. I got the best news yesterday while over on the Universal boards. Don't know if any of you are going too but the word is that FOTL will be back to normal after 8/16. I was getting kind of worried there for a minute. Also, no E-nights are scheduled past 8/13 yet which hopefully means smaller crowds for mid to late August. I can't wait!!!!!!! :

Time just isn't moving fast enough for me. Why does it move so much faster when I'm already in WDW?? But, I just did my netgrocer.com food order...that made me feel a little better. Come on 8/13...get here for crying out loud!!!

Being the OP'er....I actually have read EVERY single post. They are getting funnier and funnier the closer it gets.

I am not allowed to wear any new clothing BEFORE leaving. 3 weeks ago, I washed all my new shirts, t-shirts and shorts. They are all hanging in the cedar closet in the basement identified by a clothespin on a hanger...sort of like book-ends.

I told DW to just pack me NOW. For us we are 18 days away. August 11th cant come SOON enough.

To all who have posted...you have made this particular thread alot of fun to read. For those who have yet to post...keep it going.

AND TO ALL.......HAVE A SAFE TRIP AND A GREAT TIME !!!!!!

I'm so excited I'm nervous now!! We havent been in 8 years - and today I called to reserve a taxi to get us to the airport, then I thought I'd better grab some cash into travelers checks at the bank... I almost faint at the thought of how much spending cash I need for the week - not including souvies!! I dont mind, but I know dh works hard for the money...

I did laundry today and filed away some clothes, disney, disney, disney, oh my maybe I should just pack NOW!!

Yesterday I went to Home Depot and picked up some Lime Green MM, dd did not understand this AT ALL - where are you going to put them, who will see them, how did they pick why did they pick green...

I just took out the suitcases!!! I will be ironing and packing this week!! Can't travel much in this area due to road closings and the Democratic National Convention plus the weather is suppose to be yecky!!! Packing is gonna be fun!!

We changed one of our resorts....still going 5-19, but changed to POFQ from SoG. We got a much better rate!

Sorry guys, I just joined disboards.com, but I'll be at the Wilderness Lodge from August 7-14! It was one of those spontaneous "Hey, let's go to Disney World again!" trips. We only planned it 2 weeks ago. I'm so excited!! Only 13 more days!!
