Got my errands run tonight, had to get some raffle prizes for the company Holiday party tomorrow night. I do not know why I offered to do that, I obsess too much about it. And I have obsessed so much about it that I forgot to get food for the food drive we are having during it. Luckily I got games for the Toys for Tots drive although I almost forgot that I had them.

Dinner tomorrow night will be food at the party. Seeing as how I am on the planning commitee you would think I would know the menu, but I don't! Daggone prizes!!!!

Riley did will with his surgery. His eyes are puffy and needs drops 3 times a day on top of the drops we normally do. The doctor was very happy with the way the eye healed. He does not act partially blind and the eye is not as clouded as I thought...just where it ruptured.

I took Thomas to see Santa today. He was so cute. I am going to be a couple pics of FB.

Ugh Nan..trust me I did my best to avoid....she asked me and when I didn't accept it she emailed me daily....I made excuses for almost a month, but as Kris says they are our babysitters and we adore his dad....so we sucked one up for the team.....my mil is the reason that potatoes can turn into Vodka!!! I just wish there was a setting so I could pick and choose what she saw

Dinner tonight is at Gail's house. I have no idea what she is cooking, I think pork. I am going to make Glynis peanut butter cup cake.

Not sure what is for dinner. DM and I are going out today to run holiday errands.

DH is at the new employer right now finishing paperwork and getting the needed details. He can't wait to give his notice. It stinks when you work so hard and people don't appreciate you.

I just spotted a coyote in my back woods right near the yard line. I thought these things were noturnal!!!! I have heard them on occasion but seeing them makes me nervous.

Not sure about dinner tonight. We have our town parade tonight so we will be out. Maybe pizza. My BIL is also working in the area today and tomorrow...so he will stay over. I think I said it before...he works for one of those buy old gold and jewelry places. I brought my old stuff to him not long ago and made $600! He retired from the PAPD and seems to work more now...I think he wants to get away from my Mom!

Hi Everyone! Yesterday somehow slipped away on me, and I never got on here.

It snowed here this morning!

This would not be my reaction to snow. It was 60 degrees here yesterday.

Laura, That fundraiser does not sound fun! DD always had a Christmas shopping fair, it was junk but at least it was new junk.

Oh, this is new junk as well. We didn't end up going. I wouldn't go without contributing the 20 items (10 per kid) they ask for, but I'm not going to go spend $20 on stuff, only to have the school make $10 on it.

I hope you are feeling better today.

Me on the other hand, I have a lovely purse from the Christmas Tree Shop hanging in my closet.

I have found the less I know about a lot of things the better I am. I guess you could say I've grown up.

That's great news! I hope he recovers quickly. I can't wait to see the pictures of Thomas with Santa. I only have one picture of the two kids with Santa, and that was when Caili was a baby. After that, she would start screaming before she even got placed on his lap.

She is also going through some sort of spurt and is making Welby crazy.

Thanks for all the compliments on Caili's Nutcracker outfit. She was pretty pleased with herself. She was especially excited about finding the gold shoes to match.

I still have to figure out dinner. I have some leftovers in the fridge, so we might just have that unless I feel inspired later.

We have them near us, too, though with the rain we got they aren't as near to the 'hood as they have been.

Becky – How nice of your boss to give you tomorrow off, enjoy your day! I’m going to spend some time on Pioneer Woman’s site very soon, what have you tried that was really good? If it’s too long of a list, don’t worry about it.

Just off the top of my head: whisky glazed carrots (amazing!), garlic cheese bread, chicken parmesean, bacon wrapped jalepenos, rosemary rolls, crashed potatoes, hollandaise sauce, spicy mac and cheese, marlboro man's sandwich (made it for John). I want the cookbook too.

I am getting a lot done today--the house is now prepped for the tree (I have to move furntiure around to make a spot for it), the place is organized, and I am ready to start assembling and flufifng the tree. That takes me hours, so I suppose I should get off the computer and go do it!

WFD: I am making potstickers, egg rolls (maybe), chinese chicken wings, and fried rice.

Dinner last night ended up being breakfast for dinner: scrambled eggs with chives and cream cheese, bacon, sausage, english muffins, and fruit. I have pic but my camera's upstairs.

Laura- I just noticed your Disney countdown, you all must be so excited!

Ann- Don't worry if you see coyotes during the day, there not really nocturnal. I don't want you to think you have a pack of rabid coyotes in your backyard.

Kathy- Enjoy your wintery mix! I can't believe how warm it is here, I know it will change real fast but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Lauren- I'm glad Riley did well. I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out I thought I didn't look to swollen- until the next day. He must be an expert at getting his drops.

Becky- Good luck getting your tree up and enjoy your extra day off.

I thought I was going to my parents for pizza last night, but we ended up having lobsters and oysters instead so I'm going over there tonight for pizza. My aunt and uncle are up to help with my gram's things, I don't usually go over there for dinner that often. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

The weather people have been teasing us with the possibility of snow all week. Now they are saying that only the North Shore (zipuzee's area) will probably see any of that. For us on the South Shore we'll get sleet late tonight.

I'm taking it easy today, but trying to do a little indoor decorating. Dinner will likely be soup. DH picked up a roast beef poboy for me last night to make me feel better.

TGIF Wow, I am finally all caught up. Remind me to never leave for a week again. You can't believe how much I miss you all. I have to agree - I am very thankful for each and everyone of you. You are all the bright spot in my day.

Becky & Wendy ~ I got a Kindle for my birthday and LOVE it!! You don't have an internet server. No extra charges or worries about being in a certain area. It is called wispernet and it is free with the Kindle. I was even able to download books, blogs and papers in New Mexico. I was watching Oprah the other day and she was talking about a certain book - I had it downloaded and was looking at it before she was finished talking about it. If you have any questions about it you can PM me. I absolutly LOVE mine and wonder how I ever survived without it.

Laura ~ I am so excited for you all to be together in WDW. So darn thrilled that Greg will be there. How exciting!!!

I have so much to tell you all but it is time for me to go home and I am SO ready to get out of here today. We had our UMW Country Store here at the church today. Over 300 people for rolls this morning and lunch this afternoon. It is our big fund raiser and we did very well. I am just sick of all of the drama today. 70 - 80 year old women act worse than 2nd graders - nuff said!!

Tonight is our first home basketball game and we are going. So dinner will probable be a bag of popcorn and a water. Gourmet huh? But oh so fun. Jay and Elizabeth are going so I get to see them tonight and my boy Ethan. Since Dad has been home I have had to really take a back seat. He has stuck like glue to his Daddy. It is so neat but I am so scared to see what happens when he has to go back.

Ok I really do need to go before someone sees I am still here and I have to go do something else. I will try to be back on this weekend. I really do have a few exciting things to tell.

We had a dusting yesterday and then again this morning. We have been blessed so far this winter not much winter part. But I hear next week will be more seasonable.
