If I do say so myself, my stuffed peppers were really good. Sorry there won't be any pictures. I am just not that smart. I fixed mine sort of like Alison. Actually it was my Mommas recipe. Hamburger, rice, onion and tomatoes. Once they were all made a can of tomato soup over all. OH.MY they were really good. So much fun - Doug asked what we were all cooking for next month.

Well we just booked our rooms and flights for a trip to Chicago in October. Doug & I, Matthew and Marty, Stephanie & Lilly. We play North Western on October 18th so we decided to make it a small vacation. We are flying in on the 15th and back home on the 20th. We are so darn excited, but have 6 months to wait. I will not wish my summer away - that is for sure.

I am SO glad that Saturday is over. OH.MY.GOODNESS what a hot mess that was. We served over 250, ran out of some things, but I think everyone got fed. This family was VERY difficult. Doug and I were there at 8:30 and didn't leave until 5pm. I came home and sat in my chair and we both woke up at 7. Went to bed at 10:00 and slept all night. I don't even think I turned over. After Church yesterday, Doug and I had about 5 hours until he had Easter Choir practice, we jumped in the car and got the heck out of Dodge. Best 5 hours of the month.

I agree with Ellen. The stuffed pepper was a LOT of fun. So.....what are we all planning to cook on the last weekend of April???

Happy April Fools Day......................I always cringe on this day. My kids are good at getting me.

Matthew text me this morning bright and early to tell me he was pregnant. And in the next text he said - Ok now you have gotten your April Fool now carry on and have a good day. Such a silly boy.

Halleous ~ Welcome!! Dinner sounds really good. I need to make a big pot of Chili before it gets too hot. Thanks for the idea!

Allison ~ Oh BBQ sounds so good. Marty, Stephanie and Lilly are taking us out for Dinner on Friday (it's our Anniversary) and we have picked BBQ. I can't wait!

PIO ~ OH oh oh I love your idea. I just found a great new roasted chicken recipe and I can't wait to try it. Yes, I vote for roasted chicken. Oh Doug will be so excited.

WFDT ~ Chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and ricotta, tomato aspic, and garlic mashed potatoes.

Well I turned in my resignation! On April 14th, I start my new job...

1 month 1 week and 3 days I will be in Bermuda!

Life is seeming pretty good!

WFDT - Nothing I am stuck at work until late so its just snacking boo! Thankfully I only work one late a week so its not too bad

I'm glad we could help you out halleous. We definitely have some variety of meals here so plenty of ideas!

I like the idea of whole roasted chicken. We just did one last week but I have three more in the freezer. I have a few recipes that I could choose from for that. Hopefully on the last weekend in April I will be busily packing for our road trip.

hi EJ4Disney I tend to eat a big lunch at about 3-4 and then that along with my fruit that I snack on does me really!

WFDT - Chicken with coriander chutney along side some baby potatoes, green beans and baby carrots cooked by the Mr makes it taste all that nicer haha

I am taking a new job... Not a Contractor to the Government.. and going to Bermuda for fun! On a cruise out of New York.

Hoping this winter is over for you soon! We were 40 this morning coming into the office and we will be 68 this afternoon after work.
