Good Morning! Not sure of dinner yet...

Laura,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

**********
Aimee, Sorry to hear about your Grandfather...

Good morning!

I was going to call Wendie, but before I did I checked her profile here on the DIS and she checked in yesterday so I'm sure she's OK, just not ready to come back yet. I will pm her again and see if she responds.

Tonight is Mariah's senior prom, if I can get a pic of them I will post it tomorrow.

WFD - Grilled tuna steaks, baked potatoes and caeser salad.

Aimee- I am so sorry about your GrandDad. I have no suggestions, The right thing will present itself and you will recognize it when it does..

Becky- how are you feeling today?

Laura- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kat- glad that you are better, I am too! Enjoy seeing your young Prince Charming and his Cinderella ready for the Ball

Glynis- Hope that Allan is better today

I am cleaning today, it is messy in here! Dinner will be decided after I am done. Marisa and Jeff to Kady to a Pals Bowling party so who knows what they will do. Pals is an intervention program at Kady's school that helps shy kids learn to interact on their own with adults. Kady is so afraid of making mistakes at school that she was almost introverted.....but no more! :rotfl::rotfl:I love her school system! They have so many programs in place to give children a great start and they do not compromise, no one is left out or released before they are ready because of budget concerns. I heard that there will be no cuts this year either, the money will be found. We'll see! Buddy is at the greenhouse.

I decided today sounded like a fine day to clean also. Well, I'm cleaning EVERY weekend lately. My bedroom looks like my closet threw up. There are clothes everywhere. What a mess! :lmao: I am attempting to find spring clothes. I think I may just be better off finding some at, oh, say JCPenney, Old Navy, or Target than in my closet. :rolleyes1

Somebody remind me not to drink regular coffee under any circumstance. :sad2:

Hey y'all,

Quick check in. Running out to bring Angelina food. She is doing fine so far, hurting but that's to be expected.

:grouphug: Thanks my friends for all the prayers! Y'all are so good to me! Now I'm just hoping she has a quick recovery. I love y'all! :lovestruc

Aimee, Prayers for your Granddad & family.:flower3::hug:

:cake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!! party::bday:

Today is my BFF's 30th birthday and her DH is throwing her a huge surprise party at an italian restaurant - she lives about an hour away so that will take up most of our day. He is such a sweetie; he saved money on the side for months so he can pay for everyone's meal. So we're having italian food for dinner!

I have a question (again): I went to Costco today to look at the meat again. They have a beef tenderloin for $6.49 a pound. It's quite large and it looks to have some fatty that needs to be trimmed off. Then they have a beef tenderloin "with side muscle removed" that looks redder and without any fat on it for $10.49 a pound.

I am willing to do some work to save $4 a pound but what am I going to have to do? And will I lose all the meat that I saved money to buy in the process? Or do you roast the one with the stuff on it as-is and trim it later?

Happy birthday, Laura!

Tonight, Alan is going out with his brothers, so all the women (and small children) are getting together at my SIL's house for a potluck dinner and chick flick night. It should be fun!

I'm making slow cooker chicken curry and rice. And I'm also making a warm winter lemon cake, so I think I'm doing my part to contribute!

Still thinking about Angelina

!

Have fun! I love the warm winter cake, it is a favorite here.
have you posted the chicken curry?

Dinner is soft tacos and cut melon. The fussy man who claims to eat anything but lover and asparagus is having 1/2 tuna grinder. He ate 1 1/2 last night so I cannot imagine that he won't still be hungry :confused3:confused3

Kady has declared that she likes the tacos :thumbsup2

I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to be agitated all week. I HATE flying :scared: (despite having flown every 2 months since last April!) and I've also got some important things coming up this week that I'm nervous about. I've been unable to focus all day and it just dawned on me that I'm just kinda agitated with everything up in the air right now.

I'm not sure how much I'll be on here until the evening of the 14th, when I get back here. I work three days this week, then I'm going out of town for something like 5 days.

We are back home! We had a wonderful time. Today was a very long day of traveling.

I hope all of you are well and will try to catch up later.

;)Happy Birthday Laura!!!!

Welcome home, I missed you! Can't wait to hear all about it.:goodvibes

Forgot to mention we're watching movies this weekend. We watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua last night and I LOVED it, well anything with dogs in it is right up my alley.:goodvibes Tonight we're going to watch Slumdog Millionaire and tomorrow Marley & Me!

Darn it, I could swear I clicked on the thing to quote posts!

Oh well, to those that need them.

Happy Birthday Laura!

Went shopping today, got two new pairs of Crocs at the outlet store, a couple pairs of pants and a top. Went to eat at Mimi's Cafe and had deep fried pickles, Buffalo'd shrimp and bread pudding for dessert. Boy was I stuffed, I am just now eating some dinner.

Have tissues handy!

The party tonight was great, but I am not feeling well. I expected my medication to kick in sooner. :sad1: Tomorrow is C-R-A-Z-Y and between my work obligations, I need to check in on my granddaddy. He had another bad day... :sad1:
