I got some awesome news this morning. Greg is able to join us in Disney!! Then he'll get to come back here with us for Christmas. I'm so excited!

That is GREAT!!

I agree about moving the smileys. I don't know why they do it; it's annoying because I know where my favorite ones are and now I have to find them again!

The couch came yesterday! This morning I was laying on it and watching Sleeping Beauty. I don't think I've ever seen it before. Let me tell you, a lot of WDW makes a LOT more sense now! That castle looks JUST like the one in the movie!

I am addicted to the game Collapse. I used to play it before; it was downloaded onto my computer even. I lost it when my computer crashed, and I hate the game Bejeweled. I was so annoyed that FB had Bejeweled and NOT Collapse but NOW FB has Collapse and I'm loving it!

I am still not sure WFD my stomach is a little off. No I am not getting sick just my friend is visiting.

Did I mention last weekend Alex and I were able to get the H1N1 vaccine. We are both in a high risk group yeah. 2 more people at work are sick. I work in a small office. I hope no more get sick it is hard to avoid the germs.

All we had to go on was the slip and it said he exhibited excessive refusal to follow instructions. Now understand that in our house, we don't question the truth of the teacher's statement, but we were hoping to get the particulars from Patrick before we killed him. He told us he wasn't following directions because..........he had short-term memory loss. We still killed him, but Kenny and I have had a good time laughing (by ourselves) at this lie which sets new heights in child lies.

Anyone want a 14 year old boy with smelly feet?

Hi Everyone Just wanted to say I'm back to work and it is going very well. My kids are so glad I'm back. The Drs. Told me to expect a year recovery and it was a year Halloween for my back fusion and a Mar. 9 of 2010 a year for my total hip replacement.

Did I mention that I bought myself a early christmas present? I bought a GPS it was $100.00 off

Well, my son has H1N1. My doc didn't even test him- he said the lab was all backed up and even if Jack's test came back negative he wouldn't believe it. So Here I am- trying to take care of him while I don't have a good leg to stand on!

I'm glad he's coming around. Half the kids/youth at church all have had it already and for 99% of them, it was not even as bad as the normal flu but most missed about a week of school.

Can you stand another Buddy thing? The first time we went to see TSO he was whining that I was dragging him to the Opera on a "school night". It was the Friday after Thanksgiving and he had to work the next day. Well he was hooked! and we have been going ever since. And ever since then he has become an authority on the proper day to see them. They have only gotten it right once since then, he wants our concert in December, just before Christmas and on a Saturday night. Never the day after Christmas, never before December 1st and Horrors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never the middle of November! He wants me to email them and tell them that! He pictures one of those guys drawing the concert route, stopping at the Hartford dot and saying "Hmmmmm, how can we piss Buddy off? Push Hartford to the back of the pack and see how many more cities we can have the perfect date for." Because their schedule is all about him

I've never seen them live but do have one of their CDs and love them!! I know DH would enjoy their concert. I need to see when/if they are coming through here.

I got in about an hour ago and am trying to get my act together. I had a GREAT retreat. When we finished this morning, I went and hit two of the outlet malls and bought a few things for Christmas. I also finished almost an entire book on CD, which made my 10 hours or so in the car alone feel productive. I don't have to leave until late afternoon tomorrow for Houston so that'll be good. I miss my hubby

I'm impressed that several of y'all got H1N1 vaccines... can't keep them here, except nasal which I can't have. Oh well. It went around once already and I successfully avoided it so hopefully I avoid it if it comes back around as I'll likely never get a chance at the vaccine.

Aimee We had to go to the health dept for the vaccine and fill out a form. There has been the nasal but we couldn't get that because of other health issues.

This is for your Mardi Gras trip? I see your ticker has Boardwalk on it. Are you only staying 2 nights total at Mardi Gras or do you have a split stay? I'm so confused.

I love the Epcot resort area. My family only stayed at Yacht/Beach Club with one exception, when we stayed at the Disney Institute, which was mostly demolished and rebuilt as Saratoga Springs.

I hope anyone who is sick feels better soon.

Bethany - I love the couch! I also liked the picture of the park! Should I post pictures of the snow we got yesterday??? It snowed most of the day. Really yucky! However, it's supposed to warm up again this week. Cross fingers, please!

Aimee - I'm so glad you had a great time! Sometimes we just need time away from our "real" lives. Here's hoping you can avoid the pig plague!

Sheryl - We are in the middle of painting our basement for Thanksgiving, too! With Dad coming to stay, it provided the impetus we needed to get it done! So far, it looks really good. Our basement tends to be really cave-like, so we painted the hallway white, which really lightens things up. The bathroom is a pale yellow with a white ceiling and we are doing at least one accent wall in the playroom that is a peachy-bronze color. Hopefully it will look good!

Dinner tonight will be roast chicken, baked sweet potatoes, stuffing and corn. Kind of a small pre-turkey day feast. It was what the kids requested, so there you are.

I also need to make a couple of batches of salt dough so Jacob can make a topical map of Utah to be handed in next week. I hate these kinds of assignments. Oh well.

Glynis - Snow already..

Its a better day here weather wise,no rain and a wee bit sun.

We took the boy to get a new mattress today and he was so into it it made me laugh.
Trying them all out,askin Q's but as he said " he's 9 now and needs to be more involved and take more interest in family issues "....

Hes started his pre-christmas buttering up early this year !!

We then visited my cousin and her new baby.The boy was in heaven,he just loves wee ones and Benjamin is just sooooo cute.

I will put the pics on FB later....and Kat and Sheryl youse might like what youse see !!
