The Welcome to Disneyland Tour?

i read alot of good stuff with this post:
disboards.com/showpost.php?p=33665058&postcount=6

it is more thorough of a report, but from two years ago, i have been searching and searching trying to find more info myself. probably taking this tour next may, but if you take it before me, let me know...it is $25.00 and at 10 am...that is certain

This is a bit off topic but related... This summer I did the VIP Disney tour that included visiting Walt's apartment above the firehouse and touring the Dream Suite above Pirates.

Here's a link to my photo album for the VIP Tour. (A lot of misc. photos from the tour and some are a bit blurry buy you get the idea.) :)

*bump*

Considering doing this while visiting for the half-marathon later this year. Just wondering if anyone has done this recently. What all comes with it? I read some earlier reviews online saying that it came with a lanyard/pins/honorary citizen button, but I'm guessing that they are no longer giving these out?

Coming in on a busy weekend, I'm thinking it may be worth while to do the magic morning on Saturday, and follow it by taking this tour to get in some more rides/fastpasses/priority seating/dining arrangements in order to maximize our time there. I've only been to Disneyland once, for one day, and my Mom who will be coming with us has never been. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone been on the Welcome to Disneyland Tour recently?
When does the tour start, 10 am or 10:30 am?
Are the FPs given regular FPs (specified return time, one per guest) or special ones (unspecified return time, each for up to 6 guests)?

There seems to be varied info on this tour.
Thanks in advance!
