I'm in Disney now. I'm from NH, so I'd like to think I know cold

I arrived yesterday midday, and I was comfortable/borderline warm in a light long sleeve shirt, light sweatshirt, jeans, and a heavy fleece jacket. The temperature wasn't bad; it was the wind that made it cold. However, as soon as the sun dropped, even I was freezing and had to add gloves, and by the end of the evening in Epcot I felt like a human icicle. Trying to take nighttime pictures was a nightmare because my fingers froze in seconds. I am actually concerned I may have gotten a small patch of frost bite on my face.
The good news? 10 minutes before 9, you could still get a spot ON the rail for Illuminations. Line rides for the headliners were still long (70 min standby for Test Track at 3:50pm, 45 min standby for Soarin virtually all afternoon/evening) most of the day, but I did notice it was extremely easy to walk through World Showcase by about 8pm. I found myself doing all the rides I don't normally do, just to stay warm: Imagination, and the World Showcase boat rides were all walk ons (I had the whole Imagination car to myself) between 6:30 and 8:40. There was also almost no wait for food at the one register they had open at the Liberty Inn in America at 6pm.
I did see one brave soul in the pool yesterday around 3. It should come as no surprise that that was a child, and their (I assume) parents were bundled up on the lounge chairs.
I love Illuminations but even I will probably be skipping it tonight. Windchills are going to not be much warmer, and I can't do that one again. Thankfully it is supposed to get progressively warmer here.
