So the origin of our trip... we weren't actually planning, back in 2010, to go back to WDW until 2013. :faint: DH surprised me in... January??... sometime in the winter that we would go for a short trip instead of picking some other place for vacation. :cool1: Our original plan was fly down on a Wednesday, fly home the following Sunday. That has kinda...grown... to fly down on a Saturday and leave the following Saturday. BUT, we only have 4 park days and we're not getting more. So I have to be smart with my planning.

So about us. We are 20-something vegetarians from the central Ohio area. We both have full time and part time jobs... so we're pretty busy to say the least :laundy:. A Disney vacation (planning it, doing it, then planning the next one) is our saving grace and keep us going through the day to day grind. DH and I are not just vegetarian- we follow a pretty strict 'whole foods' diet, where we eat as minimally processed stuff as possible. You could call us :hippie:'s and that would be a correct statement :laughing: Last trip we tried to stick to eating things like this:

Our dates are September 17-24. We're flying out of CMH early in the morning, and landing in MCO sometime around 10:45am-ish. I am already packed (hello, my name is SDSorority and I am OCD about being packed months in advance), but still have a little bit left to do. Here's my rough packing list, in case anyone else would like to use it!!

Clothes:
5 Disney-related T-Shirts
4 pairs of shorts
1 Jean capri
8 pairs underwear/socks
2 bras
2 cami's

Plane outfit (for the ride home)

That's a lot of stuff. :rolleyes1 Most of it is for BOTH DH and me so I can't be 100% to blame :lmao:. I am sure I'm forgetting some of the stuff I have packed. Oh, I haven't even mentioned food items yet. We'll get there.

So we're staying for 2 nights at SSR (YAY for renting points!!) and 5 nights at Pop. The 2 nights at SSR we will NOT have a car, but we'll take DME back to the airport to pick one up before checking in to Pop (long story why- Priceline "name your own price" reservation that can't be cancelled). No biggie. We LOVE having a car to scoot around from park to park, not to mention going to the GROCERY to get healthy breakfast and lunch items. We're not doing free dining since we got a PIN CODE on our value room :thumbsup2, plus we don't eat a whole lot, so it makes more sense for us to bring in food that I know is good for us. My body thanks me. :lovestruc

So what is our travel food plan??

Take on the plane (not necessarily to eat yet...):

Frozen Grapes
Granola Bars
Mini packs of peanut butter and honey (in my ziplock bag)
Apples
Bananas
Crackers
Chia Seeds (to mix with the water we get at the airport)
Cut up veggies (the frozen grapes will keep them cold-ish)
Couple pieces of bread
Salsa put into tiny containers (in the ziplock bag, kept cold by frozen grapes)

In our suitcase:
Potato :rotfl: Am I weird? :laughing: :confused3
Trader Joes Soup
Can of beans :laughing: (I'm making stuffed potatoes before we have a car to get to the store!)
Individual portions of oatmeal
Cinnamon (for the oatmeal)
Raisins (for the oatmeal)
Almonds (for the oatmeal)

That'll get us by for the 2 days at SSR... then we'll get to the store once we have our car (phew :worship:)
